  1. Atm I still feel like Insanity and Silho make the most sense. Silho would have been the one to kill Alvron + grab the Kalak blade, which he then used N5 to block you for fear of getting NK'd, while Insanity put in the JNV kill. Now Insanity got to prove last night they weren't Archer's killer by giving you Stormlight while Silho could freely put in the kill. No one else works on a team with Insanity except for Tani, given the fact that she voted Elkanah instead of Insanity to make it tied again yesterday, which led to us all consolidating on Elk. Insanity. We really should have just done this D6, if only so that I could have been cleared by yeeting two elims in a row
  2. That's a fair assessment. Depends how concerned they would be about Pailiah. Oh wonderful. I didn't realize. ED1T: @Ookla the catastrophizer You have the Shallash blade, right? You should Illuminate yourself and your top village read before the end of the day. Don't let us know who that is so the elims can't know. We know they possess both the Kalak and Jezrien honorblades, which means they can both remove a vote and move a vote.
  3. Well, the game isn't over. That's a good sign. Hello Cinnamon! I don't believe we've ever played together. Hoping you'll be able to spice this game up. Let me know if you have any questions to help catch you up on things. RIP Archer and my tinfoil. Also, Paliah's Honorblade may very well be cursed. First Illwei get's killed N1, then e!Chantara gets voted D5, and now this. @Araris Valerian did Insanity hit you with that sweet, sweet Tension? My current reads list: V: Araris N: Cinnamon Tani E: Insanity Silho Turtle/Cinnamon obviously hasn't submitted any kills and there can't be 3 elims left, so I'm ruling them out. Depending on whether or not Insanity used Tension on Araris, they'll be clear of last night's kill or the obvious culprit. Silho is Silho. By PoE alone, his guilt is confirmed. Which kinda weirds me out since I've consistently had Insanity and Silho as my suspected team. Why kill Archer over me? Lowkey worried that I've been pocketed by Tani and she's kept me alive to spearhead other votes. I guess the tinfoil didn't completely die with Archer. Going to need to reevaluate. But first... coffee.
  4. Okie dokie. Good to know, thanks. I guess all we can really do tonight is pray the kill gets blocked / there are only 2 elims left.
  5. You have Battar's blade, right? You could use Transformation to scan a player for any contraband blades, I think. @Ashbringer that works, right? Tension fills up Araris' stores and he gets to use Transformation on someone?
  6. GG Village! That was a hoot to spectate. Especially Fifth and Wizard's epic showdown. My only regret is that I couldn't participate too
  7. Sorry it's just hard not to read most of your posts as open wolfing / trolling myself If you really are village tho, I doubt you die tonight, lack of protection or no. Archer is right that everyone but Araris is expendable for the Village at this point, since he's got the kill blade and there's a total of 0 people who would vote for him.
  8. Welcome to where I was yesterday tbh a part of the reason I wanted Insanity dead sooner rather than later was to dispel any remaining concerns about me.
  9. Oof. Took the words right outta my mouth =\ If I'm the NK, Insanity + Silho is my best bet, with Turtle and Archer as the only possible last partner (in decreasing order of likelihood). Tinfoil theory is an Archer + Tani team, as I'd posited last night, but Occam's Razor probably applies. Assuming v!Tani and v!Paliah, there is a decent chance the kill gets blocked. Main issue is Kalak roleblocking Tani and Paliah having no Stormlight left (or Almighty forbid, Turtle has the Paliah blade too). @InfiniteInsanity Please remember to use Tension on Araris, that way he can at least rule you out as tonight's killer. On that note tho, Elkanah didn't kill JNV, and whoever did it surely has Jezrien's blade now. Transformation from Shallash and Battar would be extremely useful, as finding that or Kalak's blade on someone would effectively amount to an alignment scan. Potential N5 killers subset: <Aman, Insanity, Archer, Tani> Insanity + Turtle team works, leaving Insanity alone and forcing them to put in the kill (no one else) Me + Turtle team works, given no one could keep me accountable Insanity + Archer team works, suggesting Insanity pumped Archer with Stormlight and Archer submitted the kills Archer + Tani team works, with Archer being the serial killer and Tani being the e!Protector Just saw this edit and wanted to respond to it. If Insanity's last partner is Turtle + with Stick and Chantara dead, there's really no one to help Insanity fabricate actions, and based on my understanding of their mafia experience, I don't know if they'd attempt to in fear of getting caught in a lie. Also, if Insanity's partner is Archer, there's this: Which, given Archer knows Insanity's player profile, means he could've coached to claim nothing so this reasoning could be given, or Insanity said they did nothing before Archer could give them advice and this was his attempt to get pressure off his last teammate ED1T: @Ashbringer what happens if Tension is used on someone who doesn't possess a blade? Does their base Stormlight (2) still go up to (4), or does it work like the Highstorm and only those with blades can gain more Stormlight?
  10. I would actually cackle if Silho had the Kalak blade and used it to RB you last night ED1T: Since Insanity is now off the table, I might as well consolidate on Elkanah. @Ashbringer (6) Elkanah: Araris, Silhouette, Tani, Insanity, Archer, Aman, (1) Insanity: Elkanah, I'm very tired from an exhausting morning + my melatonin kicking in, so I think I'll call it a night. Crossing my fingers for a 2nd red flip in a row x See y'all on the other side
  11. Quoting my edit in case Archer / Araris missed it: I also just acknowledged the possibility of a Stick/Chantara/Elkanah/Insanity team. It could work. So I guess I'm fine with this turn of events. I just personally would rather vote out Insanity, who I'm genuinely suspicious of, over Elk who only feels like a PoE vote. Sorry for criticizing you (unless you're evil, in which case, aha!). I had no intention to do that going into that reread, I just found myself kinda confused in retrospect because while I found that first post of yours D5 very helpful coming into the game, it felt off now that I've been more directly involved. (5) Elkanah: Araris, Silhouette, Tani, Insanity, Archer, (2) Insanity: Elkanah, Aman, My guess would be whoever put the kill on Alv had to also put the kill on JNV, and thus couldn't use the Kalak RB.
  12. Fair enough. I wasn't here for Day 3 so I can't really judge it the same as you. For me, it has a lot less weight than all the contradictions I've been finding in his posts now that I'm looking into him without rose-colored glasses / preconceptions from before I tagged in. Regardless, I'm as certain of e!Insanity as I can be, so we shouldn't have to cross that bridge. It's possible the reason Insanity voted me over Elk is because they're partnered too, so I'm sorta okay with a tie between them. My only real concern at this moment is the rest of the elims hammering me + using their vote manip to seal the deal and win. That said, I could see a reality where e!Archer initially started the Stick votes to turbo distance, not expecting anyone to legitimately follow along because, as you put it, literally nobody mentioned suspicion of Stick until that point, and thus he could have deemed it safe. It wouldn't be the first time I've seen e!Archer fumble with a suboptimal play too, given the last game I played, e!Archer tried to go after v!me on D1 and I turned it around on him to get him immediately voted out. Aaaaand, Ninja! (3) Insanity: Elkanah, Aman, Archer, (4) Elkanah: Araris, Silhouette, Tani, Insanity, Okay. I'm no longer in obvious danger of a hammer. Cool. Honestly considering switching to Elk myself, if only to prevent it from happening later. ED1T: V: Araris N+: Tani N: Archer Elkanah Turtle N-: Silho E: Insanity ATM I think Silho is the most likely partner of Insanity. They joined my vote on Insanity only to back off very quickly and return to Elkanah at the first chance they had. If there's a 5th, it's one of the 3 in the N-tier.
  13. (3) Insanity: Elkanah, Aman, Archer, (3) Elkanah: Araris, Silhouette, Tani, (1) Aman: Insanity, I'll have to go see what Kas' thoughts on Elk were before he died then, since I've yet to see a particularly compelling argument for me to condemn him myself. (That and I feel like Insanity voting me was essentially an admission of guilt + Cohesion / Adhesion set up) Also, very sorry to hear that you're going through it right now I sincerely hope whatever's wrong resolves itself soon
  14. Okay so I read up to me coming in again, and a few things stood out to me. First Archer's big opening post: I'm slightly becoming paranoid of e!Archer. For example, there's him starting D5 gunning for JNV and implicating Turtle alongside JNV. Also the fact that both v!TUN and v!JNV had voted Archer D3 as an alternative to e!Stick, which didn't seem to pick up steam, and Stick distancing herself from Chantara by voting her. Also, this part: Combined with the fact that Archer's first two votes today were: An inactive that his main argument for being evil was Illwei dying N1 + starting the train that saved v!JNV + apparently getting Stick's blade and going inactive despite the fact Stick died to the yeet and thus the blade was purely RNG'd? and: Who just last turn he said "I'm hard clearing e!Elk" + His very first line today was shading me for trying to get some Night discussion going Overall, my point in pointing these out is that while I did come into the game reading Archer as village for some mind melds we had (I.E. calling Stick out for seeming to have a hidden agenda) I'm wondering now if that was because he already knew Stick was an elim and it was a distancing thing. Not to mention the fact that him coming back to inactive Turtle again and again, even post v!JNV reveal, feels kind of hidden agenda-y. Another bonus from this post: Mental block with voting Turtle --> Immediately votes inactive Turtle D6 over other suspects? Getting away from Archer a moment, I saw this post by Elkanah that's suddenly made me very concerned: About this: In an e!Ishar!Insanity world + them having Kalak from killing Alvron, that means the elims have two different vote manips for today. Is this Insanity setting me up for an Adhesion / Cohesion hammer? ED1T: @Araris Valerian I didn't really see much against Elkanah or Shining from D5. Did you maybe mean D4? Also from the end of N4 are two posts of yours: You were suspicious of Archer, then figured Archer would have tried to save Stick instead of bussing her, yeah, making him village? TBH I agreed with that assessment originally and thus wrote Archer off when combined with the early game mind melds, but now I'm worried because today Archer has gone from voting Turtle, to Elkanah, to Insanity, while also leading Tani along to a derp clear. In a v!Insanity world, could the team be E!Archer and E!Tani? ED2T: Also a possibility of e!Archer / e!Insanity team + 1, given the Cohesion/Adhesion combo + a literal last minute hammer could suddenly save Insanity and kill me instead, ending the game in a 5th elim world. ED3T: Another bonus! From that D5 opening post Archer said: Sounds kinda like riding on your coattails Then later on, after I came into the game and Chantara had accumulated three votes, putting her in the lead: "any competent elim team" --> goes on to tell everyone you're the coinshot @Araris Valerian so that you don't miss the edits
  15. I'm honestly not sure how you could dissuade me either, tbh, as the alternative means Tani is an elim for having Vedel's blade. If you are in fact a villager, you should vote someone you suspect is an elim as letting yourself die could mean us losing the game.
  16. Quoting my edit now so Silho will see it >> I said crackpot theory I really don't suspect Tani for anything she's said or done. It's just the fact that only Insanity, Tani, and I started with blades that have not had alignments confirmed yet, either from death or being Chanarach!Araris. e!Insanity still makes the most sense, but I'm struggling to figure out their partners rn (mostly because of your shenanigans )
  17. Bonus crackpot theory: e!Shallash!Stick, e!Bladeless!Chantara, e!Bladeless!Turtle, e!Vedel!Tani In this case, Turtle noticed on D4, after Stick died and his team needed to start acting, that Tani was "v-reading" him with little explanation, and so directly confronted her to disarm any future suspicions of them being connected. In this world, Elkanah, Silho, and Insanity are all Villagers, Turtle went MIA for unhelpable IRL reasons, and Tani has been left hung to dry, simply relying on the villagers to tear each other apart until the game is won. ED1T: This would require her putting in the JNV kill order and still forgetting he died (or faking it). That or a teammate like Elkanah to put the kill order in? She did put Elkanah in the bottom of her list but I don't think she's ever voted him.
