Long Game 22: Corenne al'Daishar
TheMightyLopen replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Same. I was a bit worried about Hael for most of the game, but couldn't get enough of a read to really push for his death until the facts made it mostly clear. Also, totally agree about @jaimeleecee. She had me fooled for almost all of the game actually. It was only when weird shenanigans with Joe getting Corrupted that I really began to think she was Corrupted. Haha, thanks. My secret techniques are still working! Seriously though, I'm not sure why I've survived as much as I have. It's not like I really do anything specific that allows me to survive. In the case of this game, I think the DF's didn't want to attack me because of my Aiel-Blooded claim. Looking at Wilson's spreadsheet though, it appears that I'm tied for the most survivals of anyone(Alvron is tied with me at 12, although the spreadsheet says I've survived 13 times, it's wrong)! And with that being said, let the death streak begin. >.> Well you certainly played well enough to win, that's for sure. I did ask everyone to pile on Aonar at one point, but no one really listened to me... I did actually recall your statement about your role being ironic(when I accused you of being Hoid) once Aonar "revealed" he was a scanner. I thought that was probably what you were referencing. -

You have no idea how close. That last post of yours almost had me convinced you were village. I literally had a post typed up about how I was so sure that Meta was the final DF that I was willing to let myself be lynched instead of you so that you and Bugsy would lynch Meta the next Day. So glad I held myself back and didn't let my paranoia take control completely. -

I had myself thoroughly convinced Meta was the last Darkfriend and almost sacrificed myself to the lynch just now... *facepalm* Gamma, this game has been amazing. Thanks so much for all you did. And good game everyone! -

You attacked me. D: Well, no real harm done, given there was no DF attack. I lost a bit of blood, but I'm okay. I don't mind Meta getting the mayorship. Pretty certain the game's gonna end once we lynch Elodin anyways. He defended Sart in a roundabout way on Day 1 by attacking Wilson, he also defended Gunshy from Wilson on Day 1. He helped lynch Gunshy, but only to save his own life, and even then, it took him a little while to actually put down his vote on Gunshy once the lynch started to turn to him. Seonid tried to get the lynch off of him and on to Bard. And I think that's most of what I consider "evidence" against Elodin. I'm probably missing some important parts, which I'll probably list later, if needed. -

I don't know if I'll be able to play this game. I've got some RL stuff coming up and I may not have adequate internet available during most of the game. Some advice though. If Mailliw claims to have Poisoned you, don't believe him. Gonna miss you Mailliw!- 1559 replies

Long Game 22: Corenne al'Daishar
TheMightyLopen replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Funny you suggest I did that, considering I accused Elodin of doing that exact thing on like, Cycle 2. Seriously though, my defense of Winter was because I've had somewhat of a village read on her throughout the game(at least, for as long as she played) and a Darkfriend read on Elodin since the first Cycle. Read back through the first few Cycles and you'll see I'm telling the truth. I do suggest reading through the early parts of the game again if you haven't for a while. Bugsy, you should too. At this point, we only have 3 suspects. Me, Meta, and Elodin. I know I'm village, so I only have 2 suspects. Out of Meta and Elodin, I'm leaning heavily towards Elodin, though I had some hesitation about trusting Meta for a while, I doubt he'd have bussed pretty much every one of his teammates like that, plus it just really seems like Elodin is a DF. And yes, thank you Wilson! -

TheMightyLopen replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Haha, fair enough. That was poorly worded. What I was trying to get across was that you defended Gunshy and at the same time tried to cast suspicion on Wilson who was by far the most cleared player there was and there wasn't really any reason to think she was Fain, IMO. Sure, it's possible. But I think it should be fairly clear that I'm not, if you go over what all I've done this game. Bugsy it is then. It would be pretty funny if Winter actually is the last DF. >.< -
Long Game 22: Corenne al'Daishar
TheMightyLopen replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I'm gonna keep my vote on Elodin. I'll keep my Mayor vote on Meta though. There's a couple reasons why I want to lynch Elodin over Winter. Firstly, I was never very suspicious of Winter. Second, Elodin was my top suspect for a while, until the huge lynch train on him that got pushed to Gunshy instead, which we thought indicated Elodin was village, because we thought the eliminators were just letting it happen. Next, this game has been going for a really long time. I want to finish it and I think we can do that this Turn, rather than wait until the next Day to lynch Elodin, which we'll probably have to do. Just look at the facts. Hardly anyone interacted with Winter. The only connection to the Darkfriends we can see is that she defended Sart a bit on Day 1. Look at the posts from Elodin and the other known Darkfriends. Seonid said he was suspicious of Elodin on Day 2, but never put his vote on him and tried to move the lynch away from him and onto Bard(he even gave a plan to "confirm" that Elodin was a Dreamwalker). Elodin took a small while to vote on Gunshy, even though that was definitely his only chance for survival. Elodin defended Gunshy from Wilson pretty heavily for no apparent reason other than he suspected Wilson could be Fain because of how she was going about her accusations. Anyways, going over the early parts of this game with the knowledge of who was a Darkfriend really makes me believe that Elodin is the final DF. There's also the fact that Jaime seemed to have knowledge that one of the active players was evil(Rubiks most likely told her). So, yeah, I'd prefer we lynched Elodin. But, whatever. There's no particular hurry I suppose. Also. Happy Birthday Meta! -
Long Game 22: Corenne al'Daishar
TheMightyLopen replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Who wants to lynch Elodin? I think he's actually the evil one, not Winter. We know Bugsy is good. I know I'm good(and I think I've proven myself to some extent). Meta is probably good, so Elodin is the only other one there is. Only reason I think it's Elodin instead of Winter is that I think Jaime was telling the truth. Why would she lie like that? It just doesn't make any sense to me, so, yeah, I want to lynch Elodin. It would be hilarious if he is evil, since we were so close to lynching him way back on like, the third Cycle or something. But instead we lynch Gunshy, who was a DF. XD Edit: Dang. Just read Day 2. I had Elodin, Gunshy, and Rubiks as my top 3 suspects. I really hope Elodin is evil now. Oh, and Meta and Bugsy, you guys should read Day 2 as well. Pretty much all the players that tried to lynch Elodin were villagers(now confirmed through death ), so the fact that there was a big lynch train on him isn't any indication of his alignment like we'd thought before. I'm like, 99% sure that Elodin is a Darkfriend now. He even defended Gunshy quite a bit on Day 2. -

Long Game 22: Corenne al'Daishar
TheMightyLopen replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Players left: Bugsy - Wolfbrother. Definitely village. Gamma confirmed that Fain started alone, so he's 100% cleared right now. Lopen - Aiel-Blooded(unconfirmed though, I guess?). I've still got my extra life. Was Detained N1 and Stink viewed my Action on N5 I think? And got the result that I didn't make an Action. The only Action I've made the entire game was the second Day I was Mayor I just confirmed my vote to count as 2. Meta (Mayor = 2 votes)- Dreamwalker(I think proven). Most likely village. Or else he basically bussed all his teammates. Which...I don't think he'd do. XD Elodin - Dreamwalker(all but proven). I'd guess villager, based on how the game has gone, but if Jaime was being honest, he'd be my top suspect(obviously ). Winter - Claimed Aiel-Blooded to me, so might take a bit to kill her(as if this game needs to go any longer >.>) Inactive. Hopefully she's just the last DF and the game will finish on the next Day Cycle. -
Long Game 22: Corenne al'Daishar
TheMightyLopen replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Nah, pretty sure Jaime is the last Corrupt and if she's telling the truth, Winter is the last DF. Now, I wouldn't mind being Mayor again, but I won't complicate things by asking for Mayorship(although this Day Turn does end on my birthday). Meta, have fun Mayoring like, 4 people. Seriously, in terms of story, I'm not sure if this was really a village "win." >.< -
Long Game 23: The Siege of Luthadel
TheMightyLopen replied to Renegade's topic in Sanderson Elimination
@Araris Valerian, I still don't understand. What he did, he did because 8 players bandwagoned on him late in the Day because he's a good player. Why, in this instance, is his lying about scanning someone as Spiked any worse than what those 8 players did to him? And he's claiming a valuable role to catch the Spiked. -
Long Game 23: The Siege of Luthadel
TheMightyLopen replied to Renegade's topic in Sanderson Elimination
There's literally no evidence to support that. Sure, he lied about scanning Orlok, but the late bandwagon on him for no reason forced him to do that. Why? What is it about Aman that makes you want him dead so much? I'm very confused with your insistence to kill Aman. He's a valuable villager, claimed a valuable role, and yet because he's not on the same faction as you(unless you've been fighting in your doc or something), you single him out as the player we should kill. Again, you forced him to do what he did. Explain to me how that is "suspicious/playing the faction game" in the least. Or is it that you know it's not suspicious, but other people will view it as such and you're content to let him get killed over what you forced him to do? Well, considering there was literally no reasoning for why he should be lynched, he claimed Seeker and he claimed to have scanned a Spiked, it was the obvious action to take. If you put any logical thinking behind your actions, of course. I would say that most everyone would be willing to lie to get out of being lynched for no reason. At that point, there's no reason not to. You say it's "underhandedness," but what exactly was he to do in that situation? Give up and let himself die, hurting his faction and(probably) helping the Spiked? And how is he sketchy?!? Honestly, I'm getting suspicious that you may be Spiked because of all of this. First, you want to lynch Aman early on for faction reasons, then, when he claims to be a Seeker and to have scanned Orlok as evil, you just go along with it. I'm wondering if you might have known that Orlok wasn't Spiked, so knew that lynching Orlok first would reveal Aman was lying about scanning him as such, so you hoped you could kill 2 villagers and still come out looking like a villager. Araris, you seem to contradict yourself with that first paragraph. You say what he did was the smartest thing he could have done, regardless of faction or alignment, but then say that what he did was the most suspicious thing anyone has done. I don't see how that makes logical sense. By your own words, what he did was not alignment indicative. So to say that what he did was suspicious doesn't line up at all with the previous statement. Alv, the times he "slipped out of the noose," people had very good reason to suspect him/he was revealed to be an eliminator. How is this situation even remotely similar? You're completely misrepresenting the facts of this situation compared to what happened in previous games. Although it's understandable coming from you, if you really are in Penrod's House. Same goes to everyone who is accusing Aman of being Spiked/suspicious/sketchy/somehow evil for what he did. If you're just in another faction than him, so want him dead because of that, okay, fine, but if so, could you please stop the illogical statements and just own up to the fact you want him dead for faction reasons? I apologize if this post is harsh, I don't mean to be insulting to anyone, but I've been getting more and more frustrated with how things have been progressing in the thread lately. I, for one, want to use the thread to catch the Spiked. I understand players wanting to use shenanigans to try and figure out who's on what faction, but it seems like a lot of players are using the thread almost solely for that reason. I'm gonna use my House doc to try and weed out any Spiked among my group(if there are any), but I don't think that will be enough for each House to do to weed out all of the Spiked, because everybody wants to keep their members alive as long as possible, so we should use the thread to get unbiased opinions on each others teammates. At least, that's my opinion. I haven't played many factions games, so I'm having trouble myself adjusting to all the changes. So, basically, I don't think Aman is Spiked. I'm getting a definite village read on him right now and would prefer that Coinshots go after players that they or their House genuinely suspect of being evil(Spiked), or, just admit you're killing him for faction reasons(even though I think it's a terrible idea to kill a claimed Seeker on N2). -

Yup, I think you've got it Meta. I believe we just passed LG15 in terms of most posts for a game! (And that was actually sorta 2 games, plus we've still got a bit left and the aftermath!) -
Long Game 22: Corenne al'Daishar
TheMightyLopen replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Nice! Meta, I literally can't be Corrupt. I was Detained on Night 1, which is the only Corruption that's not accounted for. Elodin was also Detained then and since it's pretty positive you were Dreamwalking on N1, you can't be either! So we know that the last Corrupt is either Jaime or Bugsy, with like, a 1% chance that you were Corrupted N1. So, yeah, I think we've got this. Edit: Was just thinking, this is a lot of evils to kill! -

I said how "most" everyone has been using the lynch. Obviously we're not gonna get a scanned Spiked each Day Turn, so if this Day is any indication of how we're gonna go about using the lynch, the Spiked can just relax and let us kill each other. -
Long Game 23: The Siege of Luthadel

I'm willing to vote on Orlok. I've got a village read on Aman, and a slight evil read on Orlok, so I'll give Aman the benefit of the doubt on this one. Joe, still would like a response from you. I realize it's the 4th of July, so, you're probably busy, but you were on yesterday and never responded, which is a bit odd, IMO. Would also like to point out that I don't agree with how most everyone seems to be approaching the lynch. Faction wars are fun and all, but it's like no one cares about the Spiked. Alvron said so himself early on in the game, thread interaction is a very important part of finding the Inquisitor/Spiked, but no one seems to be putting the lynch to use in that regard. -

Analysis of players. Maybe everyone, maybe not. We'll see how far I get before I feel like taking a break. Full disclosure, even if I'm leaning village for someone, that doesn't mean I'm against killing them! 1. Joe - Hmm, looking over his posts, I still get a suspicious vibe from him. He claimed to be certain that the Inquisitor will Spike people fast, which is what happened. Doesn't really mean a whole lot, but with Joe, I could see that as a bit of a mind game-y thing. Mild suspicion. 2. Orlok - Pushed for revealing faction lists. I can't really tell with him. Generally, he's good when I'm good and evil when I'm evil, so I don't usually have to worry about him. I'm neutral on him. 3. Elbereth - Not really time to go into much detail with her posts, given they're fairly long. I would hazard a guess she's not the Inquisitor, though she may be Spiked. Like I've said multiple times, she's a tough one to get a solid read on. Neutral/not the Inquisitor at least? 4. Aman - Again, he's posted a lot and I don't have a ton of time. I'm leaning village for him, although he hasn't posted since the most recent Spiking. But before that, I was reading him as village. Gah, ninja'd. Hmm, fair points on Orlok, I think. I may move my vote over there later, depending on the circumstances. 5. Mailliw - Lots of posts. Lots of mind games(or were they mind games? ). Don't think he's the Inquisitor. I don't think he'd be that likely a target for Spiking either. There's no PM's and he doesn't have a great survival rate. Leaning village. 6. Alvron - Probably the toughest player to read for me. I guess he has been a bit more active this game, but I'm not sure that really means anything with Alv. Neutral. 7. Bard - Hm, well, while I don't agree with his vote on Alv really, I feel that that's something a Spiked isn't very likely to do, since it could draw attention that the Inquisitor/Spiked really don't want. Leaning village. 8. Elodin - Reading over his posts, I get a genuine village vibe. Also, given Elodin doesn't have a great survival rate, I would guess he's not Spiked. So, leaning village for now. 9. Mckeedee - Okay, so, he hasn't posted much, and what he did post, isn't even a valid point. He says the Inquisitor can keep converting without end... So, well, I guess I'd lean towards him not being the Inquisitor, haha! I would like to hear more from him though. Village/maybe Spiked. 10. Arraenae - One interesting thing I saw. She posted about how Spikings come after Seeking, which shows a familiarity with the rules I expect the Inquisitor will have. Other than that, hard to tell, really. Mild suspicion. 11. Straw - Hasn't gone in his doc yet?! Poor Burnt's team. >.> He's posted like, twice? Once with a vote on Joe and once explaining his absence. Possible suspect for Inquisitor. He claimed Regular, which, I guess would be a bad idea for the Inquisitor, given he would have to have some accountability for his role(or connect to one of his Spikees). Still, in QF15, he was a conversion role and was very quiet. But, seeing as he explained that his computer is broken, I think I'd be okay with giving him a Cycle or two to get that stuff settled. 12. cloudjumper - Hard to say. Not very many posts. Possible suspect I suppose. Mild suspicion. 13. Kipper - Another player I personally find tough to read. Don't really suspect him of being the Inquisitor, but, can't say I trust him at all either, so yeah. Neutral. I'm kinda getting tired now and that's half way. I'm leaving my vote on Joe, cause I think he's my top suspicion for the Inquisitor at this point. Will decide once I finish reading up on each player and the thread as a whole. I would like to accuse all of the lurkers of being lurkers though. So, those of you who haven't been posting in the thread very much(or other places...), please do so, or I'll be forced to lynch you(and I'm sure neither of us want that. ). -
Long Game 23: The Siege of Luthadel
TheMightyLopen replied to Renegade's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I would say that we should lynch Alv purely based off of the fact that he's evil so often, but I think I might actually have a higher percentage of being evil, so...yeah, not gonna go down that train of thought. >> Anyways, I'm gonna work on doing some analysis of stuff tomorrow, so I'm hoping to get up a suspect list, if I've got the time. Maybe even a complete player list analysis. Depends on how lazy I feel tomorrow I guess. For now, I'll put a vote on Joe. I don't remember what it was, but something you said earlier sounded kinda fishy to me. Or maybe it was just a gut thing. *shrugs* -
Long Game 22: Corenne al'Daishar
TheMightyLopen replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
@Bugsy6912, unless there's more than 1 DF out there, you know I'm not a DF, because there was a DF kill on Night 4 and Stink scanned me the following Day to see if I targeted anyone and I didn't. So seeing as Stink is dead now and revealed to not have been Corrupted, you know for a fact that I'm not the DF who killed on N4. Just like how we know Meta didn't make the kill that Night because Sheep(a confirmed always villager) Detained him that Night. So unless the DF's started with 5 members, me and Meta are cleared of being DF's. And I believe we're both also cleared from being Corrupted, because I was Detained on N1(the Night the first Corruption happened) and Meta had Actions used against him on N1 that failed(although there is a chance that was a lie, since it was Seonid who "targeted" him, that seems unlikely) because he's a Dreamwalker and we know who the 2nd and 3rd Corruptions targeted, I believe(Rubiks and then Joe). So me and Meta are almost completely cleared, with the exception of there being a 2nd DF out there. @jaimeleecee, could you please vote on Rubiks? I think we have to kill him. I don't see any better option. If he's not a DF, and you aren't, then you'll know that Elodin is(because you and him are the only suspects left for the N4 DF kill), and we can go from there. @Master Elodin, could you also vote on Rubiks? Please? I don't think there's really much chance we don't have control of the lynch already, but I figure it's a good idea to get every single vote we can.
