W00t! What is THE best tourist spot in Poland, in your opinion?

A word of warning, about Shadows of the Apt: This s--t is weird. Really weird. it is all internally consistent, mind you, and despite the oddity of it all, characterization is well-done and the action is fast-paced. Basically, Shadows of the Apt is a bizarre mix of insect totems, magic vs science conceptualizations, steampunk and high fantasy. :-D Yeah, it's weird.

How do you say, "Ancient Aliens is horrible science, but awesomesauce TV!" in Polish?
-
I've grown extremely bored with "cookie-cutter" Tolkienized fantasy, which is part of the reason why I'm such a huge fan of the Cosmere meta-epic and Adrian Tchaikovsky's Shadows of the Apt 10-book series. Can anyone recommend to me a good fantasy novel or fantasy series which is distinct, like what I mentioned above?

Do you prefer spicy or un-spicy foods? -
Also interesting, in this Elantris tangent, is that the folk of MaiPon associate meteorites with a mysterious Unknown God. Hmmm....
-
"Possible" doesn't mean "plausible", though. It's possible a meteorite could crash into my house and land on my TV, but the odds are so astronomical as to be EXTREMELY unlikely to EVER occur.

Do you anything concerning Poland's pre-Christian pagan mythology? I'm honestly interested, as Norse AND Greek mythology're usually all people bother to learn about.

Did you know I am afraid of clowns? And did you know that clowns secretly control the publication of all newsletters focusing on Pygmy elephants?

No, really, it's not that bad. What is is that I have no mid-body strength. I'm not weak, but getting off the ground when sitting is...difficult. That s--t is annoying.

Maybe Adonalsium Shattering the way he/she/it did was actually performed by the good guys, to control the destruction the Shattering was going to unleash. We know Adonalsium had an "enemy" and that a "weapon" of some sort, an anti-Adonalsium weapon, had been designed. Maybe by Shattering Adonalsium and splitting up the resultant Shards, the Shardholders prevented Adonalsium's complete destruction?

I loved how it radically expanded the world. Everything felt a little claustrophobic, hyperfocused on the Lowlands. Now, after The Scarab Path, I have a strong feeling that setting is large. The Wasp Empire invading the Lowlands is, in my opinion, now in a better perspective. Further east of Khanaphes lie lands that've never even heard of the events in the novels. It, as a setting, feels more "alive" now.
