You see, thats exactly why I am suspicious. We dont spike our fellow scientists, unless it would bring science forward, but usually two scientists are better than one. The rest of you however, you could spike me because you feel like it, or because you want my zinc compounding, or to teach me some kind of lesson.

Ah, the idea of words (YOU CANT STOP ME IM GOING TO PHILOSPHIZE DX) I define words as a sound that carries meaning, if it is a sound and it makes sense in context it is a word. However these are not sounds, these are notation for sounds... and the sounds are notations for concepts... words, words are weird. You gain a little more respect for our ancestors when you realize someone had to invent language from scratch.

Random thought: if Lift was a subsumer she would be terrifying. Anyway. Just like an allomancer swallowing pewter on Roshar will still get the usual abilities of pewter Lift will get her usual abilities from food no matter where she is. Lift is basically a foodomancer, she eats food and turns it into magic. Thats my theory at least.
