My general creative process is "Take something and do horrible things to it". Take an archetype, do something horrible to it, see what happens. Take two people you know, mash them up, do something horrible to them, see what happens. This does not mean you have to end up darker than usual. Take a villain, a really horrible dictator, give this villain another character they really care about, see what happens.

Lets see, very little of what I like has the characters in focus and if I like characters I like them because they are interesting, not because they are likable people. Battle Angel Alita. I am pretty sure the manga has an official english translation so you dont need to find it illegally on the internet. Alita is a cyborg in a dystopian scrapheap underneath a floating island where the rich live. And despite the fact that she lives in a universe that has both perfectly mapped the human mind and the laws of physics she still manages to be philosophical and spiritual, without it coming of as naive. And it has fights, lots of really awesome fights, and an insane scientist. It is actually very uplifting despite the cynical setting. It is on my top 4 manga ever list, I have read a lot of manga. And the art is gorgeous. That is a big plus. I have not gotten far in Worm, but from what I have read I really like it. And that is really all I can think of XD Though, I dont know, maybe Kafka on the Shore had an interesting character arc, I did like it, but I dont know.

Mars Ok, no flying on mars. Instead they have the best railroads in the solar system. Then again if they invented magnet rails that early... Japans Maglev train tops at 603 km/h, 650 is not impossible. Still not very viable though XD On one hand I kind of want water on Mars, on the other hand I like the mental image of barren, frozen deserts XD... no reason I cant have both, right? Considering all the different climates on earth. Venus Crab Dragons! I love it! Very, very sturdy trees with few branches could make sense. But anyway, you understand my idea, I know Venus would be more or less impossible to terraform, so I am changing things for narrative purposes, but I dont want to change too much either... Mars Would blimps and such be impossible too? Seems like travel would be very difficult on Mars. I think I'll keep the air pressure around mountain levels, yes. I really like the idea of martians being huge, beast like creatures. Could I give Mars more water than it has in reality? Just a little bit more to solve the problem. Then again I do like the idea of having senses to gauge humidity. Venus Venus is basically Roshar, but with lots of flying creatures, got it XD Flying lizards with shells, I love it. I have an idea for a setting for a sci fi story that I have no idea what I shall do with, but I may as well share it. It is pretty simple. Most of earths history is the same, but somewhere during the 60s we make first contact with aliens. For very simple reasons. In this alternate reality Venus and Mars can sustain life and have both have 'intelligent' species. Sure, Venus is still warmer than earth and Mars is still colder, but they can sustain human life. Present day: Trade, politics and so on is open between the planets. You can find Martians on Venus, you can find Venusians on Earth and so on. Space travel and technology is leaps ahead because of space travel being needed. And then I need to figure out what kind of life Venus and Mars would develop... and a plot.

Write around a page about the topic for 2 hours while listening to music and chatting (I once got so meta that I started my essay about how I was writing it while listening to music and chatting...) 2. Be really bored so add a couple subtle jokes in there, it will be more fun for the teacher to grade anyway, not that I like teachers so I probably mostly do it for myself. 3. Spend another two hours beating your head against the wall, trying to find a way to make it longer. 4. Give up, send it in, deal with the "You must write more" speech later. 5. If you are really lucky the teacher may give up on you and let you do it verbally. 6. Ace it, because for whatever reason you are a lot smarter when you are not bored and you have someone ask what to clarify. I think my problems are laziness and that I think people are as smart as I am and I dont need to explain into oblivion. And I hate the act of writing, I love coming up with stories, I love telling them, but writing is a necessary evil because we have not invented telepathy yet. Should just send in copperminds... then again there will probably be a very weird thought in there somewhere...

You know, math can be sort of cool, sometimes. You just never hear about any of the cool stuff until you hate it. School should in general be answering the question "Am I ever going to use this?" Well, with a positive that is, not with a "Nope, we wasted most of your life on stuffing your head full of useless knowledge so you wont know how to question our stupidity anymore." I start to sound like a conspiracy theorist once I start to talk about education... And Kaymyth actually works for the SCP, Im sure that is supposed to be a secret, but oh well.
