Well, I have no idea XD I guess those plants or whatever could be the portals. I tried to merge the minerals and lumounes ideas together, the argument for minerals was that they would be harder to reach so it would make the races different in evolving so they could reach the lumounes (Confused sentence). Anyway Im down for your idea, I like it a lot.

I love the name of lumuoles. How about this: Different kinds of lumoules are attracted to certain things (kind of like spren), green lumoules are attracted to plants, brown lumounes are attracted to a certain kind of mineral and so on. Or if we are going with the only one kind of lumoune we can have specific things that attracts them. The mountains have a certain kind of mineral that attracts lumoune (Lumounite?) the woods have a certain kind of fruit that only grows on very tall trees, theres lumoune in the clouds which means that there is an abundance of lumoune after a rainfall and so on. Opinions? PS. I had the idea of giant, sabertoothed half-plant tigers before falling asleep last night, just thought that was a cool idea.

This brings me to: Does a person with better immunity have more to store? They should, right? Just like how a heavier person will be able to fill their iron minds faster, a person with more muscle would be faster storing their pewterminds and so on. As for the limits, I cant find the WoB, but apparently a goldmind could heal a shardwound.

That does explain the boxes. Boxes are useful for lots of things, sometimes I wonder why people spend so much money on stuff when boxes make perfectly good tables, cabinets, forts and wardrobes.

Those could fit in the dark creepy forest. How about sentient non-animals? Like plants or mushrooms? Or creatures that completely defy the animal/plant categorization?Just throwing ideas. So you could have huge, singing plants that use their song to communicate and attract prey.

This is an interesting argument, but I'd say no, the missing hand cant make a sound. I wonder if they have something like Buddism on Roshar, then "What is the sound of a one armed herdazian clapping?" would definitely be a koan.

I love the idea of taking inspiration from prehistoric times, Im definitely down with that, and now I have an excuse to make giant insects, so Im all kinds of happy. Anyway what do we want the magic to do exactly? Before we start figuring out a system... at least that is how I usually approach making magic...

I like magic, so I'd prefer if there was magic in abundance, but no matter which one we go with I think we need at least some decently hard magic. A little different, but not completely. I want a deep, dark, lovely creepy forest.
