I always imagine it as just a rosharan chimichanga. And I think Herdazians are based off of Latino/Hispanics.

What are you known for on the Shard?

For changing your member title multiple times. You used to be called Snoopy, right? Ah ninja'd! Well you've changed your title before too, so not gonna change that. -

Are you kidding? You're an awesome writer! Two prime examples: The post about you being a mighty space dragon, and the ones you wrote for my little writing prompt over in creators corner! That was some fine writing, my friend. Still, I know how you feel. Me at age 10: I'll write a story full of all the tropes I know, about a girl born with silver hair! My brother at age 10: makes up a creepy story that still freaks me out to this day.

Cosmere City: Saga I: The Timekeeper
The Honor Spren replied to Curious Anamaximder's topic in Inactive RPs
Saga raised an eyebrow as her lips tugged up at the corners. She wasn't quite sure what to think of Mist, but she seemed okay. "Yes. Highstorms are as powerful as a category 5 hurricane, plus the investiture of the stormlight. They hit the land about once a week. It is considered extremely immodest for a woman to have her left hand uncovered in vorin society. If your eyes are dark, you are a peasant. But the vorin culture isn't the only one. There's so much diversity on that one continent!" Saga's eyes were shining now. She loved traveling and seeing all the different people. Part of being a merchant's daughter, she guessed. To bad she had spent too much of her childhood locked up in a palace. "Oh listen to me." Saga laughed "I sound like a travel brochure. You mentioned being an allomancer. Would you happen to be from Scadrial then?" -
I dreamt that I went to a signing for my first time, but the signing was in an old puppet theater, anyway, I go up to Mr. Sanderson with my book ready and hundreds of questions running through my head. I'm at the front of the line when he looks at me, smiles, than reaches past me to the next person in line. I try and tell him that he missed me, and that I have a book and some questions, but he just straight up ignores me. I then wake up. I . . . I don't know what to think.

So I'm reading Sea Wolf by Jack London for literature class. It's pretty good so far but the plot line feels familiar for some reason. Let's see: Man who knows next to nothing about sailing ends up on the worst ship he could possibly be on and ends up going on a sea hunting voyage only to discover the captain is pretty much a lunatic. Now where have I seen this before?? Seriously though, I don't mind this book. It's a good book so far, but if Wolf Larsen announces to the crew that they're going off to hunt for the mystical and immortal white seal, I will scream.

Hum. I guess it didn't happen. I've never actually heard of Treasure Planet, but I'll go look it up.

A tie. I can't see either Kaladin or Vin losing in a fight like this.

Real-life "Soonie Pups" (Mistborn Era 2 Teddy Bears)
The Honor Spren replied to KidWayne's topic in Mistborn
This. This would be epic. I would buy one. If it costs more than $25, I would have to save a little to get it, but I would buy it. Just . . . Don't make the Kandra side too terrifying. I share a room with 5 year old sister. -
It's midnight. I need to sleep. I wake up at 5 am tomorrow. I am really regretting my afternoon nap, right now.

Captivity Spren! WOR spoilers
The Honor Spren replied to KnightGradient's topic in Stormlight Archive
They've probably been spotted before, but the reason Axies hasn't found them yet is probably because he is so optimistic and carefree. (Or at least as far as we've seen him) You can't make yourself feel deprived of freedom. -
Confusion over these books is fine! I had to read through both of them thrice for them to fully seep in, they're long and have a complex plot line. (Part of what makes them epic)

*sheepishly laughs* this is a slightly late but here's shadesmar:A horribly disproportionate Vin: And I'm teaching myself manga, so here's my first Kaladin and Syl attempt: Yay! Art!
