    Forget Allomantic Feruchemy, and skip Hemalurgy altogether. I want you to explain which compounds of which forms of Investiture you consider to be most effective, which haven't been confirmed by the books. An example; Iron Feruchemy + Gravitation, Ninja Cannonball (for lack of a better term) As seen with Sazed, Iron Feruchemy does not affect weight. Instead, it affects reception to gravitational pulls. Gravitation, as seen in Windrunners and Skybreakers, functions on a use-by-duration basis. One use of compounding Iron Feruchemy with Gravitation would be to tap gravitational reception while in the air. This would increase the gravitational pull on the Surgebinder, increasing his speed. This would also be an easier way to use Gravitation for calculated movements in combat. Filling a Metalmind while Lashed would slow down the Surgebinder's speed, saving him the effort of creating an opposite Lashing to reduce momentum. Surgebinders could also attempt a direct attack by flare-tapping Iron as they slam into an opponent. Kaladin managed to crack Shardplate by slamming into it with full Lashings; with Iron Feruchemy, Shardplate could be completely splintered.

    Come on, then - take a hit for the team. If you are Glory, you will get rid of a Discovery player by dying. If you are Discovery, well... I'm not saying you shouldn't defend yourself, but accept defeat when it stares you in the face. But by my Jindoeese beard, the scan is accurate. What motivation would I have to make something like this up? If I were Discovery, I would be throwing away my cover story by having you lynch an innocent. I have no reason to do this, unless I am a Diplomat and received a scan telling me you were Discovery. EDIT: I'll be scanning Eowyn this cycle.

    I scanned Shallan two cycles ago - if you recall, I told Bort she was innocent. I scanned PK last cycle, and put the results out as soon as I got internet access. If you want more proof, I don't have any but my word. So I offer a compromise - we lynch PK this cycle. If he is innocent, then I am clearly Discovery, and you should kill me. But for now, I ask that you take me on my word.

    To the Glory Faction, I have a feeling you might be interested in this. After five cycles, I've finally found a Discovery Faction member. Brace yourselves... *drumroll*... Paranoid King. I repeat, Paranoid King is a Discoverer. EDIT: I presume it was someone from Discovery who downvoted me? Just goes to prove Paranoid King's guilt. EDIT II: Thanks to whomever upvoted me. I have a few suspicions on who else is Discovery, based on who was viewing the topic at the time of the downvote; but they are just suspicions at the moment.

I couldn't have shamelessly posted on this thread so long after its creation and abandonment without you. Most notably, all you kind people who necroed this old thread from before time itself. There are just so many people I'd like to thank for resurrecting this thread from the dead. First of all, me, for always being there to support me. Also Brandon Sanderson, for giving me books to make a thread about - and Bill Gates, for the computer I'm writing this on. Chaos too, for making the forum my thread was on, and I guess Kipper, for, meh, necroing the thread.

    Suggest possible fictional characters and which types of Investiture would best compliment and/or replace their skills/powers. My immediate thought - Windrunner Spiderman. He wouldn't even have to open his eyes, he could use his Spider Sense to tell when to change direction. Adhesion would also allow him to more efficiently cling to walls without fear of getting pulled off.

    In the interests of not giving Kas an excuse to provide Discovery with a kill ability, how about we all murderize Moderation? Seriously, though, even if Kas wasn't against the idea, Moderation is suffering because of the alliance. Everyone, literally everyone, is targeting them. Moderation is getting every Arbiter, Striker and Bribe apart from exposed Discovery members.

    I just got the scan report on Shallan. Congratulations, Bort, she is innocent. Of course, being on an enemy team, I would be happy to offer proof by Striker - but I think you can take me on my word for now.

Cursing himself for a fool, Thay set off to find what Morthal sent him here for. Signing up as Thay Adamir, a non-Cosmere Worldhopper from a book I'm doing my best to procrastinate writing. I couldn't figure out a way to work in a description without it being forced and awkward; darkeyed, ethnicity similar to most Alethi. EDIT: And now, a special announcement due to the amount of Selish worldhoppers on here... *drumroll*...

    Is it just me, or did Wurum bring a Shardblade to a gladiator duel? GM, I demand you examine the Codes for Dueling Etiquette, wherein you will find clear definitions on which types of weaponry may be wielded, most specifically forbidding Invested weaponry from participating, as dictated by Emperor Ebrisinith during the thirty-fifth year of the Etorican dynasty- Stabbed with Shardblade. Okay, back on topic; I will investigate Shallan next cycle, but for now I have a likely suspect, as suggested by the rest of Heritage. No, Bort, it isn't you.

Blackadder would get elected, and Llarimar would get the army - his sense of moral duty would have him get rid of Edmund by the end of the week. Justin Bieber, Rebecca Black, Sadeas. I'd say Sadeas is the lesser of three evils, but that's for the next person to decide.

    By moral obligation, I need to say don't kill Wyrm due to him being a good person, and not because he is the GM of another game I am in - both as moral obligation, and so that he doesn't have all my skaa revolt simultaneously and insure that I have no heirs next generation.     Baatar gripped the chunk of metal in his hand between four sweating fingers. He had been born and raised in Jindo to a Rose Empire family, and had always thought that returning home would be something to enjoy. But no one had prepared him for this. He had experienced Arelish and Jindoeese politics. Systems that relied on blackmail and extortion, but systems where no matter what happened, you were sure to come out alive, if slightly poorer. But this... Damnation, when people played at Rose Empire politics, they died. What the in Domi's name was he doing here?

    I consider the Clone Wars (not the film, the series) to be one of the few things that I acknowledge as Star Wars, alongside the first two movies and Knights of the Old Republic. Do not mention the prequels, or the Force Unleashed.

    Good point. That, and I just realized how it will look if I've postponed Emerald's death and he turns out to be Discovery. I hadn't thought switching who to investigate would be important enough to consult the doc - sorry about that. EDIT: And I just realized that counts as not consulting the doc.
