Whoops, just realized I didn't actually include Megasif's death and alignment reveal! Updated the original post.
-
Once again, two accusations were brought before Koralis. They all knew they needed to unite better, but none of them was willing to trust more than one or two others, and even then they kept a wary eye. Pizanca had been thrust forward, followed by Autch Vat, with wary voices accusing them of various suspicious things, most reluctant to be firmly identified to their increasingly irate leader. Koralis didn't even hesitate this time. He flipped the coin, and struck as it touched the sand. Pizanca looked up in horror and relief at the body of Autch Vat laying next to him, and then fled with the others into the bright light outside. Not until later did most of them realize that Koralis hadn't even spoken a word. If they had, most would have realized their precarious position within his organization. Megasif has died! They were a Kor Thief! Player List: This cycle will end in 24 hours, at 8PM EST Jan 8.

Aaaaaand, the cycle has ended! New cycle up before long.
-
If any Black Sands member places a kill order, all of them (active or inactive) will show up as having targeted the victim.
-
Cycle ends in 15 minutes! I’ve been sick, so no promises on how quickly the next cycle gets up, but it shouldn’t be too long.
-
Huh, interesting idea. I don’t know that I’ll be much good at it, but I’m willing to give it a shot.

The Kors got little sleep that night, many choosing to simply sit in the sunlight despite their fatigue, desperate to avoid Koralis’ rage, and the Black Sands’ daggers. Vatch Aut and Pizanca watched each other warily, as well as watching for anyone suspicious. They knew by now that the Black Sands had to have infiltrated the Kors at some point previously, which made old friends suddenly turn into dangerous foes in their minds. As each eyed the other, they both missed for too long the falling ashes wafting down into the street. Mixing with the sand, they created an eerie connection to the name of their enemies. A connection all too literal for Schrito. His ashes rained down on Laesire from his burning room, a sign to all that Ihsan would rule Laesire even if he had to blacken the sand for miles around. Kynedath has been killed! They were a Kor Thief! Player List: This cycle will end in 43 hours, at 8PM EST Jan 7.

The cycle has ended! New cycle will be up in a little while.

I will be unavailable at rollover, so I’m extending this cycle until 9PM EST.

Koralis had an uncharacteristic expression on his face as he listened to his men argue. He'd heard it called the "face palm", but in his case, it was the "someone is going to die soon" look. If these illogical arguments didn't blow away with the sands soon, he'd send the lot of them packing with no water! "Apophis!" "Ra!" "Donkey!" Finally, the group shoved forward a nameless beggar who claimed to be a living legend, and Gliht Bkackn, both of whom dropped to their knees with wild eyes. Neither seemed to know why they were there, and the Kors didn't seem to know better either. Finally, Koralis' hand dropped to his sword and he stood up and roared. "Silence!" The group fell silent except for a few whimpers. He held their gazes. "Every one of you has failed me, whether by design or by malice. Bring me the Black Sands, or may your tongue be parched forever!" He pointed at the two men in front of him as he pulled a coin from his pocket. "Heads, you die," pointing at Gliht. "Tails, you lose," he pointed at the beggar this time. He flipped the coin. "It was him!" shrieked Gliht. "That name doesn't even have a name! It was him!" The coin landed. Heads. Gliht's head landed next to it. Straw was randomly lynched. He was a Kor Thief! Player List: This cycle will end in 24 hours, on Friday Jan 5, 2018.

Apologies, the cycle has ended. New cycle will be up shortly!

Who knew running an SE game was so good for your rep? Oh wait, I think I did expect it. Now I’m a Squire! Not as good as a full Radiant, but I can get my glowing on.

As the night ended, which just meant some people rose and others went to sleep, Erdon sat on a rooftop watching those below. Marking a target, he turned to move to the ladder he had placed, but found the way was blocked. A Black Sands assassin, obvious from the black kerchief over their face, stood grinning at him (how he could tell he was grinning, Erdon had no idea). "Looks like a long way to fall." The assassin kicked Erdon hard in the chest, causing him to stumble backwards, nearly tumbling over the edge of the roof. He gasped for air and grabbed for a handhold, but found little purchase. The next kick sent him falling headfirst towards the street, a fatal fall from this height without any doubt. Just a few feet down, however, his descent stopped. An arm extended out of a window caught him and held him firm, then pulled him to safety. Koralis' men stormed the rooftop, but found it empty except for a shred of black cloth. Devotary of Spontaneity was attacked, but survived! Player List: This cycle will end in 48 hours, at 8PM EST Jan 4, 2018.

This time, there was little argument. Erdon claimed to have followed Talzeen to both victims, keeping a wary eye out in the burning heat, and accused him of working with the Black Sands. For his part, Talzeen offered little resistance, only a knowing smile and a few comments, heating up the conflict between the odd couple of Ra and Apophis (it felt like the two of them thought they were gods or something). When they dragged him in front of Koralis, he made a sweeping bow, before having his ankles knocked out from under him roughly by those who had pulled him in. He smiled broadly at the imposing crime lord. "This is surely an honor. Ihsan will be proud of me for causing this much fear among your men." The mob that had dragged him in grew restless, but knew better than to press Koralis. Instead, whispered threats and gleeful descriptions of what awaited him made their way across the sandy floor, promising nothing but the worst they could imagine. Koralis simply leaned down and looked Talzeen in the eye. "Give Ihsan my regards." Talzeen looked up with surprise on his face. "You'd send me back to him? I'll deliver a message, sure, as long as it's your surrender. He'd kill me if I came back to him with anything less, though." Koralis smiled, broadly and genuinely. "You misunderstand, fool. I'm sending you back as a message. This 'Ihsan' who thinks he can challenge me has just gravely overstepped. Now I know his name. I'll offer a prayer to him on the winds before I take his head." A flash of metal. A thud of meaty flesh landing on rough sand. And then Talzeen's body was thrown out of the city, handless, as a message to the Black Sands that Koralis would not be cowed. Randuir was lynched! He was a Black Sands Thief! This cycle ends in 22 hours now, since I was late getting it up, at 8PM EST Jan 2, 2017 2018. Player List:

Oh yeah, the cycle has ended. I’ll get the new one up shortly.

Just under an hour remaining in the cycle.

Rennid slept fitfully that night. Visions of Koralis’ wrath when he’d heard about the killing of Chocolarzin kept him in a constant state of fear, and nervous enough that he kept one of his gun under his pillow for security. Plus another two under his blanket. And his extra powder keg handy in case he needed to reload. Sadly, that would be his undoing. A shadow briefly darkened his door and tossed in a small burning candle before disappearing into the market outside. It landed with a soft thud next to the keg, just loud enough to wake Rennid and cause him to look towards the keg, eyes opening wide in fear and realization. Pieces of him were still being found hours later. Walin has died! They were a Black Market Arms Dealer! Player List: This cycle will run through 8PM EST Jan 1, 2018, unless I receive at least 8 votes in favor of extending it. New Year’s Eve is when most people will be up late, so it shouldn’t matter. Timer will be added later since I’m on mobile.

The cycle has ended! New cycle shall be up shortly.

Finally got Oathbringer (on the Kindle)… they say 31 hours of reading time is the average. Guess I know what goal I want to beat.
-
I may be busy at rollover tonight, so it may be delayed. The next cycle may also be extended because of the New Year's holiday, though, so I don't expect it will matter too much. I do still expect all actions to be submitted by 8PM EST tonight, however! BTW, I feel like I'm misremembering, is there another color I'm supposed to use as GM instead of blue?

Chocolarzin looked up pleading at the three who towered over him. Droughtbringer and Autch Vat had decided that Chocolarzin seemed suspicious, and they were determined to beat a confession out of him, rather than take another unsure decision to Koralis. "Who's in charge of the Black Sands?" "Why'd you kill Grevilar?" "What's the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?" "Who's a good boy?" Apparently Chocolarzin had taken leave of his senses as Talzeen joined in at the end, finding peacefulness in unconsciousness, and resting forever. Try as they might, though, the three accusers could find nothing linking to the Black Sands, so they slunk off and neglected to report to Koralis, fearing his wrath. A Budgie has been lynched! They were a Kor Thief! Player List: This cycle will end in 24 hours, at 8PM EST on Sat Dec 30.

Morning rolled around with barely a whisper in Laesire the following day. Granted, there was only minor changes in the shadows to indicate to the locals that morning was indeed here anyways, but where there was usually an increase in the hum in the air, it remained muted, hushed. Grevilar was one of the few awake at this time, keeping his eyes open for Koralis' sake. He truly believed the man was a force for good in the city, despite being it's most notorious crime lord; Koralis kept the scum of the city in check. Grevilar was part of that scum, to a degree, but he saw himself making a difference. At least that's what he told himself. At this moment, though, he was telling himself that someone up ahead was walking very suspiciously. In Laesire, you didn't go around poking your nose into the Kor's business, and this shadowy figure had been peeking into curtains and stalls for some time now. Grevilar glanced down towards Koralis' den, half expecting enforcers to be already on their way, but when he saw nothing, he glanced forward and saw nothing there either. Nothing? A small shadow peeked out slightly from a side street, and then slipped further inside. Grevilar drew his dagger and crept around the corner, watching for the figure who may have spotted him. It wouldn't do any good to be caught unawares. Koralis wouldn't be pleased. As Grevilar drew up short, finding a silent alleyway with only some boxes piled up, he felt a sudden pang of realization as it hit him that he'd been tricked. Or rather, he'd been hit. From behind, another person tackled him low, around the waist, flinging him violently into the sand. He rolled over, swinging his dagger, but finding only air, and gathered up the breath to shout for help. He never got the chance, though, as a crossbow bolt pinned him to the ground through his eye. Another two bolts followed for good measure, and Grevilar lay still for good, knowing that he had failed Koralis. Darkness_ has been killed! He was a Kor Thief! This cycle will end in 48 hours, at 8PM EST December 29. Player List: EDIT: PMs are going out now, be patient please!
