  1. Thank you, Dow. One vote removed.

I don't believe we've heard anything from Eowyn yet.

I'm here! Been keeping up, but I was waiting to post until roleplay inspiration struck me. Alas, it looks like that isn't going to happen any time soon.

I don't believe we've heard from phatt yet.

It's kind of strange getting into the villager/eliminator mindset after playing MR7.

    Edit: Ninja'd... poke vote removed

Edit 2: Well, ninja'd as in I didn't see his post before I made mine d:

  2. Eo lifted the teacup to her lips and took a tentative sip. It took her a conscious effort to not make a face. Nasty stuff. Drinks weren't supposed to be like this- lackluster leaf water that smelled strange. Eurgh. Sel had been a failed experiment, no doubt about it. Ancient Scadrian food had been better than this, and it had tasted of nothing but ash. It was definitely time to move on. Where should she head next on her quest for the perfect meal? Perhaps Roshar; despite the irksome storms, maybe Eo could finally try the legendary chouta she had heard so much about.

  3. Eo shall be joining!

She is most definitely not a worldhopper from Sel. There's no relation to the Eo of the great Faction War. NO RELATION AT ALL. In fact, this Eo is actually Thaylen. Those eyebrows look pretty good, eh? Yep. They're not fake. Promise. She's actually Thaylen. Definitely didn't worldhop from Sel. Nope.

  4. I was thinking the same thing. Not sure who to go for though. My biggest suspicion is Pixie, by process of elimination.

Also who are our Diplomats and who is being scanned this cycle? Adamir is, I'm guessing, checking me out. Eowyn, what about you? And did someone say Shallan is a Diplomat too?

Finally (I think), I'd like to propose a trade with Heritage. Once Discovery is gone, I'd like to swap one of our players for one of yours. Aonar and Seonid should be reunited with each other for the endgame. I don't mind which faction they end up in, but the trade should be fair.

    *Araris and Seonid

I can scan anyone you want. In fact, I might as well tell you the result right now. Whoever it is, they're in Moderage  (I'm Svordish)

  5. Well, you can ask anyone from Heritage that cycle why we bribed him. I let it happen because at that point, I still didn't know if I was Svordish or Jindoeese. And we didn't share roles in Heritage- and I didn't trust anyone enough- so I couldn't share my scan. I couldn't convince everybody not to bribe him over. I figured, if I am Jindoeese, I can keep an eye on him and I'll know not to trust what he says. And I could role reveal if need be.

  6.

    @ Eowyn I am confused....

Cycle 2. Scanning Seonid would automatically result in a hertitage result because heritage bribed him over.  You knew our plans to bribe him so why would you waste a scan?   Also, you were in heritage and Seonid was bribed into heritage, meaning a discovery result would be impossible no matter what kind of diplomat you are.  (Reasoning: "Diplomat scans come last on the Stack. So, if you scanned a player you have successfully bribed, yes, you would be wasting a scan, since you would effectively get the result of your own Faction").

In the rule clarification from cycle 1 forum if a diplomat scans someone in their own faction they will get the result of their own faction, no matter the type of diplomat.  That's why it is a waste for any diplomat to scan someone within their own faction or that they are bribing over.

Please someone correct me if I am wrong in my logic... but I think we have all been lied too.

Oooh oh crud!!! I switched it. I scanned Seonid 1st cycle, and Joe 2nd cycle. Not a lie- just a human mistake.

Edit: I was one of the people in the Heritage docs who discussed who the diplomats should scan. I was the one who pointed out that we should wait to bribe Joe back so that the Diplomat could scan him 2nd cycle. I really did just switch them by mistake when I typed it out:/

  7. Inconceivable!

    ...

Eowyn, would you mind taking one of the other names on my list to scan please? While you ar enot a member of Heritage, it may be an idea to check them for Discovery.

It would be my pleasure :')

You all have fallen victim to one of the classic blunders- the most famous of which is "never get involved in a faction war in the Rose Empire"- but only slightly less well known is this: Never go in against a Moderationer when DEATH IS ON THE LINE!!!

  8. You're definetely Svordish

    1: I was Heritage

    2: He was Moderation

3: I roleblocked you. (Sorry, thought you were a striker)

    4: I don't actually know.

The diplomat scan happens after transfers. So, the first cycle one was correct, actually, as was the 4th cycle one. What convinced me I was Svordish was my fourth cycle scan. In my mind, there was a small chance that Seonid and Araris were both Discoveries pretending to be siblings. I didn't really believe it, but I had to cling to that last hope that I was Jindoeese, whether it made sense or not d:

    Edit:

(Sorry, thought you were a striker)

    STORM YOU, WYRM

  9. Oh, for sure. Knowing whether or not we were going to lose any players, and if so, who, is more the thing here.

Discovery doc :P Edit 2: you keep using 'we'. I do not think that word means what you think it means.

look guys!! I'm an arbiter now  :D

    Edit: oh yeah, my scans.

    Cycle 1: Joe. Result: Moderation

    Cycle 2: Seonid. Result: Discovery

Cycle 3: Araris. Result: none (roleblocked I guess)

    Cycle 4: Araris. Result: Glory

  10. Seriously, though, even if Kas wasn't against the idea, Moderation is suffering because of the alliance. Everyone, literally everyone, is targeting them. Moderation is getting every Arbiter, Striker and Bribe apart from exposed Discovery members.

P.S: Also, Kas, thanks for confirming that there is an alliance.

That... isn't what prompted Kas to make that post. THERE IS NOT AN ALLIANCE. If there was, we wouldn't have called out Hael.

  11. Whoops- I just edited my post above because I didn't see the new posts. I'll just move it down here.

    "Haha, nice try, Hael.

I'm willing to share my scans, but I don't want to just because a Disco asked me to. I'm almost certain there's no harm in sharing them, but I do want to double check with everyone else first."

    Yes please confirm me!!!

    I won't be Discovery

    That I can promise.

(Add that to the haiku contest :P jk)

  12. I'm mostly Scandinavian, and I'm only 5'6''. Of course, people keep telling me that's pretty tall, but just about every family member I have (other than my short older sisters) is taller than me. So I feel short. I'm also Celtic, which is awesome. Scotland is cool.

I decided to post a real "What do you look like" thing. So, like I said, 5'6''. Blonde. No, I'm not dumb, or at least I like to think I'm not. Tan for a Washingtonian, laughably white for all the Mexicans around here. I am, unfortunately, a human being (I almost wrote the Hero of Ages, which I am, but it would've blown my cover). So... yep.

Yooo!! I too am Scandinavian. In fact, my last name is a place in Norway  And I grew up in Oregon!! I don't live there anymore, but I'll always be an Oregonian at heart. I feel so bad for you guys in the NW.. all that heat, and no a/c (unless you're lucky)

Crazily enough, I am also blonde  ^_^ (Shoutout to Rick Riordan for helping to destroy the dumb blonde stereotype.) I'm about 5'10''- tallest person in my family.  B) It was a good day when I realized I was taller than my older brother. Anyway, I have blue/gray eyes, my hair is uncontrollably curly, and I wear glasses. Also I'm scrawny and can barely even do a pushup, although I can hold up Words of Radiance for quite a while so that ought to count for something. Oh yeah, and I'm a dragon.

  13. I didn't know he got bribed - thanks for the tip. Wait, you said he was bribed into heritage? Rust and ruin, I am the Svordish diplomat; my investigation told me he was from Moderation.

No, she was asking what made you think that he was, and then that (If Joe is telling the truth, which he is) you have to assume that Orlok didn't get bribed.

Edit: Isn't it possible (if not probable d:) that you are Svordish, and your randomized result just happened to be correct?
