  1. It's a reference to the Diagram, a set of instructions followed by one of the secret societies in the Stormlight Archive. Excerpts from the Diagram were used as the chapter leads for part of Words of Radiance, ending with notes like "from the Diagram, Book of the Second Desk Drawer" or "West Wall Psalm of Wonders." (It was found written all over every surface in the society leader's room one morning.)

You might consider adding a spoiler tag on that, just to be safe.  :)

  2. If we were on Scadrial, I would definitely pick Mistborn. It would be harder to find metals of the correct alloys on Earth, and there wouldn't be any of the God Metals... having Atium would be awesome. I like Allomacy better as a power, but the disadvantage of being on Earth would make me more likely (and unwillingly) to choose Feruchemy   <_<

  3. I have a brief question about Epic weaknesses,

As an Epic, to truly get rid of your weakness, do you have to constantly face/expose yourself to your weakness, or do you truly have to stop fearing whatever your weakness is?

I'm not sure if this was mentioned in Firefight or not, but any theories or speculations would be awesome! Thanks! :)

  4. How, why,

Do you have four sets and are missing one, or do you have seven pairs?

I have them in different formats, and every one serves a different purpose. I think I have an eBook, an audio, a signed copy, a hardback, a really battered on that was my first, one that I lend out to people, and one that I use for normal reading that's covered in sticky notes and highlighting and graffiti (Mainly Allomantic symbols, glyphs, and Aons :) ). I'm kind of OCD when it comes to books  :P  I only have 4 sets of Words of Radiance. It's kind of disappointing. ;)

  5. I just finished rereading Firefight for the sixth time, and I realized that we never hear much about David's mother. We know that she died a year before Calamity's rise (I think), and so I was wondering if her death or her work was somehow linked to the creation of Calamity, and maybe David would find something about his link with his mother which would help him shut down Calamity or something. If Brandon was to be really cliche, he could have her come back in Calamity, and show how she faked her death and launched Calamity, and blah blah blah, but I'm pretty sure that would be too unoriginal for Brandon. Any thoughts?

  6. I'm no expert on this, but as I was reading Words of Radiance, I noticed that it was common for people to have one light-eye and one dark-eye, as well as streaks of mixed hair colors. For a human on Earth, this would be very rare, and only plausible in the case of a mutation. Are people on Roshar different than people on Earth, and if so, will we see greater effects of it besides hair and eye color?
