I guess it's time to make a thread that should have been done a long time ago. Here I will report to you all about the new thingies that are introduced to Arcanum from the technical side. Without further ado, here's a bomb for you: You can suggest changes to entries in Arcanum. No need to write in a special topic on the forum anymore. Right now, if you are logged in, you can just click "edit" button on the entry you want to fix, and fix it! Remember though, that all changes done by regular users need to be accepted by Arcanists, before they are visible to the public. (For an option to transcribe brand new entries, you still need to wait some time, but I remember about it, and it will be done)

The mod team just has to play whack-a-mole for some time until they stop just keep reporting, so we can react faster. Currently we have staff online for effectively 24h a day, those posts should never last long.

I'll add that once the review is done, those red markings will turn green and say that the event has been reviewed. Old events aren't pushed through this procedure, so there is no warning nor confirmation about reviewing there. @Chinsukolo I understand what you mean, unfortunately things are complicated. First, we'd need to make sure it's not possible to get the whole book by searching for words like "the" that appear in practically every paragraph. Second, none of us is a copyright lawyer, and the last thing we'd like is copyright trouble. Third, that's not really a problem that Arcanum is meant to solve. We focus on interviews, signings etc. Searching through book content is not part of our goal. There are many things we still need to do in Arcanum, so even if the previous two points weren't there, book search would have extra low priority. If you really want to do something like that, you can try contacting Dragonsteel and ask for their opinion/permission. Then I bet you'll find some willing coder to make it happen. But honesty, my gut tells me that they wouldn't be too enthusiastic about it. Too much risk of leaking the books and publishers might also have their objections.

Uploading using mobile data transfer is not advised. It is not guaranteed to work and it just eats loads of your data transfer limit. You can wait for WiFi, there's no rush enjoy the event, worry about uploads later
