    We have heard that the people on the southern continent of Scadrial have found some ways to use the metals of the Metalic Arts in a technological way. Machines that (likely) work in the same ways as the Metalic Arts. I was wondering what machines and such we can think of that the Southern Scadrians can use. Perhaps there are some cool combinations that will make amazing things. Here are some of my ideas: Binoculars made out of Allomantic tin. Jackhammers made out of Allomantic pewter. Smoke detectors made out of Allomantic tin or Feruchemical tin. Food despensers made of Feruchemical bendalloy. Mass drivers made out of Allomantic steel and Allomantic iron. What ideas do the masses have? EDIT: I found some quotes.

    Here is the entire passage below. For backstory, this is when Kaladin IS the highstorm. He goes over the land, seeing people. This scene is where he can see Azir and Szeth killing some more targets for Tarivangian. As the highstorm, we don't know if Kaladin has senses that are above the normal five. There is a chance that the vibrations that he sees are investiture in use. Even though the highstorm hasn't reached them, Szeth wouldn't be attacking unless he had spheres with at least some Stormlight in them. It does, after all, say that these flashes are "spherical bubbles of light." Perhaps they vibrate from Stormlight. Look at the women's script. It too looks like spikes and vibrations. If you remember, causing vibrations on a plate of sand with a bow will make the symbols of the different cities. With these three instances, I think this all points toward key elements on Roshar. Perhaps it is the Spiritweb, who knows. I am not sure what this all is, but I am just saying that I think it is all connected. Here is the rest of the passage that deals with Kaladin seeing Szeth if anybody needs it and doesn't have the book handy.

    I've been thinking (a dangerous pass time, I know) and I realized that no one person could handle writing Metronome. He is just too much for any one person. To fix this, I think he would do well in becoming the cameo character of the RP. He appears in people's posts, randomly giving a little tidbit of knowledge and then disappearing around a corner to not be seen again. If we outfit him with teleportation powers (I know, just one more power to add on his already massive power base), he could enter into anybody's post. He would be the Hoid of Oregon.

    Even with the warping personality, I think that I would take up a Shard if it was a "good" one. If I get to change my personality to be more attuned to a good quality AND get fabulous powers that help people, I totally would. While I don't want myself to change, I would rather it change for the better at the same time as it goes to help people. For these reasons, I chose Harmony since he can decide who to help and keep his personality mostly the same since he has both Ruin and Preservation.

    Perhaps that is why the Lord Ruler did it, he couldn't stand Terris winters, so he just decided to kill Alendi so he could make a world of fire and ash, free from winter . . . and joy . . . and hope . . . and skiing! NNNOOOOOO!!!

    "So do we run? Or shall we take cover and ambush them if the come back?" The Adventurer asked. Thinking quickly, Lockvault looked around. "Perhaps we should set up in one of those houses and keep tabs on this area for a bit. If somebody took notice of our skirmish, they probably want to see what was going on. To check our tracks, we should see who noticed us and if they will still follow us." Thinking quickly, he looked at his new teammate. "With your fast-travel, do you think you could get us into that accounting office over there?" He asked, gesturing to a building accross the street and a couple buildings down. "If we can get there without levaing behind tracks, that would make this a lot easier. Once we are there, I can lay down a few defenses that I have stored up." Hopefully this will all blow over and we won't have a big to-do. In the meantime we had better be prepared.
