Well since nobody else has asked anything about my game I had a few specific things that I was wondering what people thought of: 1) Bad at math talent: Too powerful? Should I make it a one-shot? Make the con worse? Scrap the idea all together? 2) Con for arriving late: Is it a little unfair? 3a) Breaking Talent: I tried to design the rules to allow for lots of fluidity in items so that broken items can enter circulation easily. Is it too much? Or maybe I haven't done enough to ensure circulation 3b) Braking Talent: Should I make it so when they are attacked the breaking of items occurs in the same way as the purposeful breaking? 4) Dark occulator: I was considering making the alivened to send an attack back at the attacker as well as defend. Or perhaps send an attack at the last voter in case of a lynch? 5) Cop role: I am not the biggest fan of the traditional cop role that reveals alignment. Is it a necessary part of any LG? I tried to include enough minor-seeking powers to account for there being no cop. 6) Stealing: Is a d6 good odds for this mechanic? 7) Name: I can't think of anything good

Ok I remember that now. I was saying that there were other options other than all 3 eliminators or random chance. I can't recall who but somebody else posted the random chance possibility. I forgot that exchange was about mailliw, sorry about that.

I have a few things to say before anybody reads the rules for my first attempt at making an SE: -Firstly I started working on this game before I ever saw the rues for the upcoming MR8 and corruption. So I didn't just steal my breaking idea from it. -Secondly their are definitely a lot of holes and problems in this game. I was attempting to troubleshoot it all myself but just found myself staring at the screen a lot so I need outside help for that so I decided to just post it and let all you fine people notice all the obvious mistakes I made. Alcatraz LG(Needs a name) You have been infiltrated! You are not sure how, maybe it was their incredible disguises; perhaps you have been betrayed by one of your own. No matter how it happened you have to deal with it. It is too dangerous to allow these free kingdom spies to interact with the commoners and spread terrible things like truth and logic. That is why you have decided to quarantine the library for as long as it takes for all the free kingdomers to be killed. Typical long game. 48h days 24h nights. Dow was around for the first few cycles. He could have made a squire before going inactive.

Since BB fits the mold of someone who was inactive for the night with no attempted diagramist kill only to become active in time for a kill to be made the next cycle we are probably looking for a fully inactive player at this point. Dow was suspicious earlier when I discussed all inactives so he is my main suspicion. EDIT: Colouring pseudo-vote

Peng. You have voted for me with the same faulty logic twice. You have said you wouldn't be too active this game because of RL business. I believe that but even when you have been active you haven't really posted anything that can really be analyzed to give make you seem suspicious or innocent in either way. We have some evidence that we may have a slightly inactive diagramist team and you would fit with that. On that note BB is suspicious to me since he was inactive during the turn where no diagramist kill was attempted and then came back online in time for the kill last night.

I have already explained how incorrect that reasoning behind your suspicion of me as but I will do it again . there is absolutely no way orloks lynch can be considered already decided before I voted for him. Before I put my vote on orlok I was tied in votes with him at 3 each. The only reason it looks as though the vote wasn't close is because a kr or squire moved a vote from me to orlok.

I am not saying it is infallible and we will probably find out either way tonight. Also I feel like the greatest strength of the squire is that it allows players with powers to release their results anonymously through the squire. This way the KR can release their results without anyone other than the squire knowing their identity.

There was a night when the diagramists didn't even attempt to make a kill. Since no KRs or squires came forward to claim responsibility for cancelling it the most likely option was an inactive eliminator team. Hence you as a target.

If they are feigning inactivity then we will know as soon as they next use their attack and we will have killed one (mostly) inactive player which is hardly the end of the world.

So do the rebels get any kind of doc to conspire in? Also what kind of bonuses does the Godking have when you are fighting him? (PAFO?)

Assuming that we are correct in assuming option 3, true inactivity, as the reason for the season the lack of a kill, I have decided to go through this list of inactive people (that I did not just steal from Emerald by the way) and see if I can find anything that stuck out before they went inactive: Jain -Last post was a vote on Renegade after he had already been revealed as a Diagamist. Says he is going to catch up before voting in this same post.(Contradictory statement) -Says he is unexpectedly busy but will be back soon -Comes up with a plan about using scanning/squiring system to create only refugee squires.(never got past the planning stage however) -Votes for meta, says RNG chose meta as target. Idolevy -Voted for kipper in an RP -Joined game Feligion - Comes back on immediately after the night of no kills -Agrees that he is lurking but says not to waste a kill on him since eliminators are usually more active -Was posting almost everyday before going inactive -I was suspicious of him back on D4 (put a pseudo vote on him) for a few reasons that weren't that good. Dow - Only posted twice -First post was an "I am here post" -Second post was apologizing for being inactive, agrees with a bunch of previously held ideas and says the only thing he suspects is that Orlok is a refugee Eowyn - says she will be not very active for a week because she is going to college(this was almost three weeks ago) -Has two posts basically saying I am here -pokes phatt After analyzing these posts I would say that Feligon/Dow and Idolevy are our diagramists(if there are 5, if 6 all three could be diagramists). Reasons: -I highlighted the very suspicious things that Dow and Feligon said. Dows was suspicious for the obvious reason of the only thing he said being that he thought a now proven diagramist is innocent. Feligons seemed like an offhand comment to drive suspicion off of inactives because he knew that the diagramists had a very inactive team. -Idolevy seems like a potential diagramist because of all the suspicious things he said he is the most likely player to have actually forgot completely about the game and not just lost interest because they are a roleless refugee. -I eventually decided on Fel because he is now active so could use the kill in the future and when he was active he reminded me of when we were eliminators together in QF67. Also it would be nice if my earlier suspicion was right and I actually found an eliminator on my own for once. EDIT: It was actually QF7

The last time that everyone survived a night the write up said -- Someone was attacked, but survived! -- this time we got -- No one died! --. I assume by that it means no-one was attacked and not the person who got attacked was defended. That gives us a few options: 1) Tension was used on the player who was attacked and it ended up blocking the diagramist kill. 2) Adhesion was used on the diagramist performing the kill and it blocked the attack from occurring. 3)The remaining diagramists were all inactive during the cycle so nobody put the kill order in 4) The diagramists purposefully didn't put in a kill order to make us think the above scenario was occurring and get us to kill all the inactive players. If it was one of the first two options could we get some confirmation from the KR who did it so we can confirm what happened? You don't need to come right out and say it yourself but you could maybe get your squire to leak the info.

One more problem with your point about me "jumping on to the last minute bandwagon"(even though it wasn't really a bandwagon): If I had not voted I very well could've been killed since I would have been tied with Orlok. Also we could very easily have ended up with a tie vote which is definitely not a good thing for the refugees especially this late in the game.

I was actually the deciding vote on orlok until someone used transportation to transfer a vote off of me onto Orlok. Also yes I did wait for the last minute to vote for Orlok because I thought Joe was more likely to be a Diagramist then Orlok was. I guess I was wrong. Besides if both Orlok and I were Diagramists I don't think I would've expressed openly that I thought he was innocent right before he was almost guaranteed to be lynched. EDIT: Random words removed EDIT2: Actually now that I think about it that might be exactly what i would've done as an eliminator since you wouldn't expect it from one.

I was actually kinda thinking that no matter which way we went an innocent was going to die. I suppose this also gets rid of Joe as my biggest suspicion since he voted for Orlok when he could have just as easily swung the vote over to me. Also thank you to the lightweaver/elsecaller who decided to kill Orlok instead of me. You made the right choice.

I agreed with Macen that it is probably a coincidence and then brought up a potential third option I didn't say that you were definitely wrong that they were working together. EDIT: To avoid double post I didn't want to have to vote for you Orlok but I know I am innocent and I can't be sure about you.

I agree with Macen that Araris's points are most likely coincidence but there could also be a chance of and Ren/Hero trying to make people suspicious of Maill by kind of agreeing with what he says. I think it is a very valid strategy for an eliminator to "buddy up" with a villager because if someone agrees with what you say you would be more likely to think they're innocent(at least it works on me). Also when they die the player the eliminator "buddied" with gets suspicion cast on them. I have to agree with Orlok that he has been more useful to the village this game then I have. I am still more convinced of my innocence than his but I still don't think he is a diagrammist. Joe however seems very off. Since his last post in this game he has posted 28!!! times in other parts of 17th shard including many times in QF9 so it isn't like he is avoiding SE completely. In his last post in this game he had reasons for inactivity and "kind of forgetting about the game": 1) He was planning and using his inactivity to avoid getting lynched. Problems: Inactivity to avoid suspicion doesn't really help the villagers, it helps yourself stay alive and hurts the villagers attempts to gather info. This inactivity is now a planned thing when in the previous paragraph he said he forgot about the game. 2) He wanted to see who would use his inactivity to try and start a bandwagon on him. Problems: Great idea! Except he never followed through... He "forgot" to put a vote on the person who seemed to attempt to start a bandwagon. 3) He has no role so doesn't get PMs from the GM to remind him. Problems: In QF9 there are no roles therefore no GM PMs and yet he surprisingly hasn't forgotten about it. EDIT: Bonus! Joe was reading the thread as I posted this yet hasn't said anything this cycle! EDIT2: And of course as soon as I post this he comes out and posts. i mean like immediately without even having time to read my post. EDIT#: Vote colour

Yes I have been very quiet, however I'm not sure if it is really against my usual playstyle since I really vary from game to game. I spend a lot more time on the games when I am at school since it was a good way to procrastinate. I was even killed for inactivity in one game(MR5). Also in the one game I have ben a real eliminator(QF7) I actually attempted to be one of the main players in directing lynches.

It ays in the OP that tension cancels a random action. So that should answer your question.
