  1. I was suspicious that Heros whole suspicions of Sart was to prevent raven from being killed. But with the knowledge that Raven was actually guilty I think I am inclined to trust Hero on this one. I am not quite ready to put a vote on yet but I am leaning towards Hero side of this.
  2. @Alvom I had placed my vote at that point because of the possibility of a con artist and worldsinger eliminator. The vote was within 2 and those two could have created a tie vote. I know people don't like bandwagons and I count myself among those people. However I hate tie votes more. If I were an eliminator with the possibility to tie up the vote (anonymously) I would in almost all situations. Also vote shenanigans is commonly used wording in SE.
  3. Clink Jr. Son of clink who died in the last fight against Odium will be joining the fight. He found the 17th shard while searching for his missing father. Learning about his fathers fate he joined the 17th shard to ensure that his fathers sacrifice wasn't in vain and that Odium would never again reign. He is a bit more cautious than his father which will hopefully allow him to survive longer in this father did. He does not however have the same skills as a salesman which has led to his attempt to take over his fathers business leading him into poverty.
  4. So Raven, you are saying that since STINK was assassinated that makes those who thought he was an eliminator potential conspirators? We are 100%* sure that the conspirators don't have an assassin especially with the assassin killing one of them last night cycle. Some people were wrong about STINK including our very own assassin. Looking back at day 1 I found this from our recently deceased wilson: (I bolded that portion) Wilson was suspicious of Raven and put forward how the three of Ripple(deceased), stink(deceased) and Raven fit together. Now with two of the three dead it seems as though wilson may have been correct about this. I doubt I will change my vote unless some new info comes up. *99.99999% sure. There is no limit to meta gaming in Sanderson Elimination
  5. Okay that definitely solves that problem. So now is everyone going to be asking everything via code? This could get interesting. Also I did suggest a discussion centered around directing the night vote. I have some thoughts on the matter but nothing major. I was thinking Hael seems a bit suspicious with his lack of contribution. When looking through his posts I found this post: Now this seems to me like it could be Hael trying to push suspicion off of Raven if they are both eliminators. Now that only means that if one of them ends up as an eliminator then my suspicion for the other really spikes. For now though I do want to hear more from Hael either way.
  6. This is a good plan but there is still some risk involved. While intercepting the one PM won't allow for full knowledge about your role it does involve revealing to another player (the intermediate who passes along the code) that you have a role. Even if the role you have is unknown the knowledge that you have a role will put you on top of the list for corruption and night kills anyways. I suppose that this can be semi-stopped by having vanilla as one of the possible roles in the list.
  7. Alvom although I do like a good conspiracy theory myself I feel like that may be pushing it a bit. You have to remember that the conspirators cannot use their doc during the day. That means that the whole plot would have had to be planed during the night turn or through PMs which can be spied upon. I personally wouldn't want to be doing that much PMing about strategies with my coconspirators if I was one. Wilson, could I possibly get a reasoning behind your suspicions of me?
  8. Well I don't just want to wait for the day to be over though. Sure we don't need to vote but we can still discuss. I have been looking through the OP again to see what kind of stuff we can do to make the most effective use of our roles. I have come up with a few things 1) I recommend that if you are targeted by an artifabrian that you should reveal it in the thread. This helps the artifab know whether or not they are corrupted. 2) I think that we should discuss openly in the thread who we think should get the brightlord/lady extra vote. This can work as a pseudo lynch during the night phase to increase activity as well as not allow the conspirators to determine who ends up with the extra vote. 3) I beleive that the conspirators have a con man. So I expect that we can't really gain much info from worldsinger tampering tonight with the extra worldsingers out there.
  9. I believe that with us discussing how we want to see if there is a worldsinger in action they will be unlikely to actually use their power lest they give us what we want. I think that the conspirators either have multiple brightlord/ladies or a worldsinger not both since that gives too much potential vote manipulation. Since we already know they had one brightlady I tebd to lean towards that option. I am going to refrain from voting at the moment since I am fine with the way the lynch. I do however find it odd that even though he was online mailliw didn't even attempt to defend himself. Does anyone have a vote tally they could share?
  10. Hello I am just checking in to say I'm still here. I'm working all day and really have a tough time following the game on my phone. I'm not ready to place a vote yet but I think the suspicion of mailliw seems valid and I am also a little suspicious of hero. I will try to find some time after work to post some reasoning and hopefully a vote but I can't be sure I'll be back in time.
  11. Even with the last minute bandwagon I am still happy with how day 1 worked out (minus the lynched villager). I am not surprised the lynch ended on phatt since he is normally a vocal player. Lots of people were brought up as potential lynch targets with real reasons instead of just poke votes. This is a lot better than the last long game where we had ties the first two days and only found eliminators from Macens brilliant seeking skills. Also quick question for all the anti-day 1 lynch people: what exactly do you discuss and do day 1 when you know you won't be lynching anyone? EDIT: My phone autocorrected macen to maven
  12. After rereading the thread a few times Ripplegylf seems suspicious to me. She has talked about wanting a Day one lynch and about how we need to ensure that there is enough of a vote margin to avoid interference from an eliminator worldsinger yet hasn't done anything to push a lynch. This also made me think that there is no way the eliminators would be given both a worldsinger and multiple brightlord/ladies since that basically leads to being able to add two votes to any player in addition to their regular votes. I am also going out for a while and there is a chance I won't be back in time to come and review the game before change-over. I hope I do get back though because I feel like these next few hours could really change my opinions here.
  13. Also even asking for an exchange of roles in a PM means you probably do have a role. So asking that question as a villager makes it quite likely for you to be the target of corruption should an eliminator find out. So once again BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU SAY IN PMS!
  14. Also why should we be wasting all our guardsman to protect the assassin? The assassin isn't the most important of roles this game. If we want to ensure protection on someone it should be the Ardent. Having two guardsman protecting the assassin means that one less villager is protected as well allowing the eliminators an easier time killing the rest of us since they would know not to target the assassin and the guardsman are all wasting the defence on him/her.
  15. Wow, I don't think I have been in a game with so much legitimate D1 lynch discussion. I like it! My two cents about STINK are that he is probably just overexcited about his first SE game. He seems to be acting how I did in my first game where I wanted to very much be a part of everything and it ended with me being lynched early. Also I feel that if he were an eliminator they would have told him not to do something as suspicious as trying to kill Wilson at this point. However he also might have forgotten to consult with the others in the doc and just done that solo.
  16. The banquet was buzzing about the news about the fire. This wasn't good, Klanal didn't want people talking about the fire or someone sabotaging the highprince. None of it was important. Klanal looked around at the other guests on the island where he had been seated. There was no-one of real importance around him. After all Klanal himself was barely important enough to receive an invite even with all the strings he had pulled. As a 9th dahn lighteyes and youngest child in a penniless house he was actually probably the person of least importance in the whole banquet it would only make sense that he would be seated with the rest of the lower ranking lighteyes. That was not why he had come here. Klanal hadn't spent the last of his families money on bribes so that he could chat with mindless minor brightlords doing anything possible to impress their betters. No he had come for the truth and he wouldn't find it surrounded by these blathering idiots. Klanal stood up and excused himself from the old brightlord beside him who had been attempting to tell him about the time he had saved Dalinar himself by single-handedly killing a chasmfiend. He snuck out of the banquet hall to where he had stashed a servants robe and put it on. As he walked back into the banquet hall he spun his hat around so that the brim would hang down so that his eyes would be less noticeable and started walking directly to the main table where Dalinar sat. --- I think we can agree that 5-6 eliminators is what we have. There is no way to really tell which it is until we get a better feel for the role distribution.
  17. This is it. If I am ever going to find out the truth it will be here. Klanal looked around from beneath the brim of his large hat, looking for recognition in the eyes of any of the other guests faces. He was relieved but not surprised when he saw none. He had learned the value of discretion back when he had first begun his quest to find the truth. He very nearly got himself killed by asking his questions too loud or in the wrong places. No he was close now, he wouldn't ruin it by being overanxious. He would wait. He would listen carefully. He would finally learn the truth.
