    Zephrer, a good plan to "deal with the Skaa" is to vote for people and look for inconsistencies or slip-ups in their posts. There isn't any overarching plan that can be made to find the Skaa beyond that not even a follow-the-cop strategy in this game. But you know that, another way I like to use when looking for eliminators is seeing who posts lots of anti-eliminator things that don't actually have any analytical value. This works only for inexperienced eliminators normally, I was guilty of that in my first game as an eliminator but nobody called me out on it.     My laptop broke last night so I will have to be playing on mobile for the forseable future. I will probably be posting less because of that sorry. @Kas first things first , what is wrong with placing a second vote on somebody? There can be no lynch or even a real threat of lynch without multiple votes. Onto maills death I may be putting too much emphasis on it sure but I just think it's an odd choice. If you actually read my first post about it I say that the skaa may have been trying to put suspicion on you , wyrm and Joe because none of you are actually skaa. Edit. I was also not trying to turn it into the mystery of the (cycle sorry if that happened) and had stopped talking about it after getting Joe's opinion on it.

A Skaaa, you jest." ----- So I am a Skaa because I pointed out problems with a plan that involved the wasting of inquisitor lurching metal vials? The plan ended up being flawed anyways but I am just supposed to accept it? Whenever someone proposes a plan we should just accept it and let it happen no matter what I guess. The main porpoise of any plan even more than the plan itself is to generate discussion. How can you generate discussion without voicing your disagreements? I feel like this vote was because I voted on Sart and he just looked for reasons after that.

    I don't think the problem is the discussion but more the lack of variety amongst the players doing the discussion. We have had 10(I think) people post this cycle out of 24 left alive and we still have some people who haven't posted all game. I will be putting my vote on Araris. You put the second vote on an inactive newbie. Why meandbooks? Phat has played a few games and has also not showed up. What are your thoughts on the game?

    OK I have removed my vote from you. I still think that this kill has more analytical value then most cycle 1 eliminator kills.

    Yes I know that is the safe thing for an eliminator to do. But what is different this time is the fact that maill had suspicion on him by others. Normally you don't target someone who is potentially going to get lynched. There are plenty of other options for a fear-kill that don't have any suspicion on them, Kas, Wyrm, Alv... Why not kill one of them and hope Mail gets lynched?

    @Zephrer: As much as it seems like a good thing to have concrete evidence before lynching it isn't going to happen. Especially in this game with no seeker. All the evidence we will have is circumstantial and at least slightly based off of instinct. Now I find the Skaa kill on Mail quite interesting. I know that it can just be viewed as a fear kill and shrugged off but I'm not sure that is it. It is different from a fear kill since Mail was under suspicion by several people. Normally kills are made on people with little chance of being lynched and I think maill was already under enough suspicion that it shouldn't have been too hard to push a lynch onto him. So why would the Skaa kill him? Was it to let everyone know that an inquisitor trusted Joe? Was it to get people to focus on Joe/Wyrm/Kas and everyone who was accusing/defending him? I think this could be a viable reason and that the Skaa were not involved with Maill in any way so they attempt to put suspicion somewhere that they have no part. Was this supposed to make Joe look good since it would be silly for him to talk about the gamblers fallacy if he were actually a Skaa? That's all very speculative at this point but I don't think we should it as more than a fear kill.

    WellI I do have a vote on Sart and he hasn't done anything that makes me want to remove it. I feel like we will get a lynch anyways since I doubt anyone actually wants to kill meandbooks before they even get a chance so that leaves Ripple. If there were more time left I would try and push for someone else's lynch but I have to get to bed and won't be on till the next cycle.

    There was a tied vote on the first cycle of the last QF and that game even gave you atium for lynching people. Still as much as I don't like the candidates I still want to have a lynch.

    He could still be an awesome master who just happens to be a hermit. As for the trailer itself it looked awesome and the music was great. I don't have problems with the dialogue since it doesn't actually give anything of the plot itself away. As much as I want to see know what the plot is I feel like it is better to wait to see it without knowing anything.

    I know that there's no way for you to get them to participate which is why I think that more analysis is what really dictates activity. What I was trying to get at was that it's not a bad thing that you try to get people to be active but there isn't really anything you can do besides the poke votes. Also when you start that early with it it seems like it could just be to stay active when you aren't actually adding any content.

    Ok, I have been spending all my analysis on things surrounding Joes plan and I feel like I should take more time to look at some other things: @Orlok/Ripple: While I'm not arguing Orloks logic I will say that I do have a harder time with mixing up eliminator/villager name designations when the Book good guys are the eliminators. I will finally be putting a vote down on Sart. All your posts have just been about getting new players into the game. That is not a bad thing but I can't see how anything you did actually helped to get them participating. Also you started that right at the beginning of the game before most people had posted.

    Ok that makes sense, I was just confused by what you meant. I have thought about the possibility that the whole plan was just to get us to waste some lurchers and then reveal next cycle that his plan couldn't work because he misread the rules. Potentially he had to reveal it now because of the amount of disagreement it was met with and he figured it may get him lynched if he followed through with it originally. My main reason for this would be that if I came up with a plan and received negative feedback I would be sure to check the rules immediately to ensure that the plan actually worked. Joe what rule were you looking back in the OP for when you found your mistake?

    Yes we have been discussing that at length, there are many flaws in that part of the plan but they are not what caused the plan to be scrapped. In fact the main portion of Joe's actual plan involved exploiting some of the "flaws" that his original description of the plan had. The actual reason that it won't work is a misinterpretation of the rules (Or purposeful for malicious intent ) on Joes part. What Joe and I were saying is that you couldn't have known that Joe's plan involved a misinterpretation of the rules.

    @maill: I'm sure that you knew that you would gain suspicion by siding with Joe, but the real question is whether it is worth it. I mentioned what you could gain from it as a skaa but as an inquisitor you can also gain from it. It is often a good thing to have some people suspecting you as it helps protect from the eliminator kill as they ca just hope you get lynched instead. I am not discounting the fact that you are an inquisitor and as you can see I haven't yet voted for you. @Kipper: How did you see the flaw in Joes plan when he hadn't revealed it to anyone? Did you know he misread the rules when coming up with the plan?
