Long Game 15: ...The Shards Themselves...
Clanky replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Kipper I won't say that you defence has left me completely satisfied but I am willing to remove my vote for now. I don't think anything you've done deserves this many votes at this point in a day cycle. Alfa on the other hand has only made an appearance in this game to defend Shallan in a bandwagon that the traitors were a part of and to place a vote on Kipper that pushed it very close to a bandwagon. EDIT: A ninja (Ripple) apparently also finds Alfa suspicious. Also Alfa asking to be scanned has been determined time and time again to add nothing to a players innocence. EDIT: again for vote removal- 1686 replies

Long Game 15: ...The Shards Themselves...
Clanky replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
So you think Wilson's whole plan was to set you up to be lynched? This seems like a silly way of pawning off this all on her. I feel it is much more likely to have all been coincidence then a ploy by Wilson to ensure your death. You mean the "Wilson did it" message? That was what made you change your mind about her?- 1686 replies

Long Game 15: ...The Shards Themselves...
Clanky replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
It wasn't an OMGUS. I gave one reason above my vote as to how saying that you are open to a kandra scanning you is silly as nobody would tell people they don't want to be scanned. Also if you are a traitor and you are told that you are getting scanned it isn't like you remarking on it is any less likely for you to be revealed. Is the kandra going to forget that they scanned you and let you live if you didn't remind them? I was also pointing out that you voted for someone with no reasoning which isn't necessarily a bad thing at this point since voting helps discussion. Also I can understand the "forgot he was dead" but given how devoid of reason your original vote was why not place another? Also in an odd chain of events you went from fully supporting wilson in going after Stink and then turning to Wilson after. This fits with Wilson knowing that she would soon be found out. I feel that at least one of the people who was pushing for Wilsons death before she revealed herself is probably a traitor as well.- 1686 replies

Long Game 15: ...The Shards Themselves...
Clanky replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Does this mean that the Kandra has already scanned you? If so I believe that no one would be suspicious of you. However if you are just saying that you would not be against being scanned by a Kandra then that does absolutely nothing to prove anything. I don't think that anyone would say they don't want to be scanned by the Kandra. So you voted for a dead guy cause of "bad vibes" but there was no one else who even gives you a bad vibe since that is all that's required for a vote from you kipper? EDIT: Recoloured vote- 1686 replies

Long Game 15: ...The Shards Themselves...
Clanky replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I had voted no kill at the time since I didn't have any big suspicions at the time and I knew that I had until the end of the night cycle to place a vote. Now that I havve become suspicious of Kaid. Partly because of this post which seems more like sowing discourse than anything else: You can make a mistake just as easily in a PM as in the thread. All talking done by eliminators will increase their chances of slipping up whether that be in thread or PMs. With that said I don't condone people only talking in PMs for the reason that not everyone uses PMs a lot so no thread discussion hurts them and discussion in thread is the only thing that can happen during the day and night thread discusion can be built upon in the following days better than PMs. Secondly this post is suspicious in saying a scan on him is useless because no-one is claiming to him and by saying that the people who he claimed to are traitors if they don't come forward to defend him. Also why would you only tell people your role if you were innocent Kaid? That doesn't actually matter that much if the Mistborn ignores the votes, it still generates discussion. Also I wouldn't be surprised if there were a mistborn without their own strong suspicions to act on or who values the communities opinion over their own.- 1686 replies

Lynch: Wilson Scan: Adavantos Kill with magic flying metal: Abstain With Wilson outed as a traitor I think it is very unlikely Adavantos is a traitor but with all the knowledge and influence he is gaining I won't feel safe until it is 100% guaranteed. I don't have any concrete suspicions that I feel deserving of death right now but I could change my mind later especially since we also have the whole night cycle and PMs to discus before the Mistborn does their thing.- 1686 replies

I never said that a biochromancer doesn't makes sense for the traitors. I was only saying that there are other possibilities so we shouldn't just lynch every biochromancer we have until we find the traitorous one. Forging happening last does decrease the usefulness of a forger to replace a Voidbringer since it would have to be planned a cycle ahead though.- 1686 replies

@Kas: I wasn't trying to imply that you were wrong or that all the Biochromancers were necessarily good as you pointed out. I realize that it may be a flawed argument but I was more trying to point out something other possible options such as other ways the roles could be balanced and that we can't put any role configuration past the GM. I was not implying that since it happened in LG14 that it is necessarily going to happen in this case. I was just pointing out the possibility so that if we have two people come out as Biochromancers that we don't necessarily kill the second if the first comes out ay loyal. Basically in LG14 we didn't think about the possibility that the roles could be set up in such a way that it seemed unfair. I just was using that as a reminder to think about other possibilities. I am by no means saying we shouldn't discuss when a biochromancer is found.- 1686 replies

Long Game 15: ...The Shards Themselves...
Clanky replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Just popping in to remind everyone about LG14 when we lynched all of our Lifeless Operators because their was no way that the Villages could have all of them. There are other ways to balance the teams without a biochromancer. Forgers can always be used on a someone before a kill to ensure they aren't a Voidbringer. This is an especially useful strategy for the traitors as they can stop the village from getting a role at the same time as they leave a potential voidbringer undefended. As for a Loyal Biochromancer being unlikely to block randomly, I think that that is an unfair assumption to make. If you are suspicious of someone why not roleblock them? It is only for one cycle and it could prevent the traitors from using an important role. It could also be a newer player who is just excited about using their role. EDIT: For those who weren't part of LG14 the lifeless operator was the protective role.- 1686 replies

Clanky replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Usually the first few lynches are highly unlikely to actually kill any eliminators. However if we don't lynch anyone then the discussion is seriously lacking and then we have less to go on when we actually do start lynching. Also if we don't lynch then the only kills happening are Traitor kills and potentially mistborn kills. That just gives the eliminators an advantage if we as the village don't use our own kill (aka the lynch). I am in the same boat as The Cow in that I won't be starting any PMs tonight as I am quite busy. If anyone does want to talk to me send me a PM and I will be sure to respond.- 1686 replies
