  1. I understand about finals messing with your head. I've got one in about five hours that I really should be focusing on instead of this. So can someone without a final-muddled brain weigh in on this? I personally would prefer to get rid of Biggoron in case he is a traitor Elantrian so that we don't need to worry about him protecting from our mistborn tonight.
  2. A voidbringer automatically cancels any kill attempt on them. So the kill never happens and they therefore can't ever be attacked at all. At least that is how I read the rules. The elantrian has the possibility of saving someone whether we kill Burnt now or later so I'm not sure why you say the traitors can't be blocked in my scenario. Sorry I didn't mean the Mistborn getting roleblocked I meant the attack being stopped via elantrian/voidbringer.
  3. I did vote if you look earlier in the cycle. Well he lied about his role, hasn't been scanned and was protected by an elantrian who hasn't shown up until now. Plus he has been lurking all game until he gets voted for. I said killing the Kandra is fine but I would prefer to do it with the mistborn. We can't use the mistborn to kill traitor voidbringers or Elantrians so I would prefer to use the lynch for that instead of having our mistborn likely get blocked tonight.
  4. Honestly I believe that Burnt Kandra is good and that by killing her we just waste time giving the traitors another turn to kill a loyal player while we also lynch a loyal player. I would rather we kill a guaranteed Traitor this cycle i.e., Biggoron and then if we still want to kill the kandra we can coinshot her tonight.
  5. Sorry for not doing any voting at the end of the day. I just finished up my last week of classes and was fairly busy. Now if we do have a forger out there still then the first thing we need to do is get someone trusted forged into a hemalurgists so we can find out for sure about the HI.
  6. Ok cool! I was actually right about one of my suspicions. It's nice to have a traitor who posted enough to do some analysis on. Here are a few initial thoughts on Araris posts: He brought up the possibility of killing one of the people the kandra scanned to test the kandras alignment. This makes me even more certain that the kandra actually is good. As queesnsteph pointed out he was defending her. There wasn't really any reasons behind his defence of her besides her not doing anything suspicious He focused a lot on the inactive players in his posts. He doesn't want us to lynch based on role distributions. Maybe this means that we should be lynching our last feruchemist then? Considered Alfa to be soft confirmed because of his scan on STINK being correct. I would normally look at Alfa as mre suspicious for this but I doubt the traitors would get two hemalurgists. Unless they were given hemalurgists instead of uninvested players as a way to confuse us? He pushed for the coinshot on Cow who we now know is good. So perhaps we can look for other people who wanted to coinshot cow since we know the eliminators were for it? "If we assume that there are 7 eliminators, then 2 uninvested and a hemalurgist seems pretty balanced. But that seems a little boring. In my experience team evil tends to have more roles and less people, which gives them more room for strategy and less of error. Although, having 2 uninvested players with the forger role might make a 7 person team a little overpowered, though fortunately we don't have to deal with that. The game could practically have ended upon the death of a mistborn if there was still an evil forger." His thoughts on traitor role distribution. Take from this what you will but I'm not sure what to make of it yet. That's all I've got for now. Nothing groundbreaking but I had some time so I thought I would share. I won't be posting a vote until I do a more thorough analysis on Araris and all his interactions.
  7. Biggoron It will be tough to kill Kipper without a good lead in votes you are correct. As for clearing yourself by voting for him. Well I will reconsider it but don't count on anything. I would also like to say a few things about killing the Kandra. First of all I think it is a terrible idea. Other than that the balance of two Kandras on the same team makes sense in this game. Sure having two alignment scanning roles is somewhat rare in SE but this game has 32 people in it which is a pretty big game. That's equal to having one alignment scanning role in a 16 person game which is very reasonable. Secondly from everything I have heard we only have one protective role. That means that even if we had gotten the Kandras to scan each other and work together we only could protect one of them at a time. So the set-up of the game doesn't seem too overpowered as it is. I can't really argue with anything said here. I will agree that I am not the traitor Biochromancer Also Elkanah since there is only 2.5 hours left in the cycle why not vote now? Also since Kipper is your top suspect we do need all the votes we can get to kill him because of his feruchemy.
  8. Firstly I don't think the traitors will keep attacking who they roleblock. They will probably still do it occasionally but we can't be sure they won't just role-block someone so that they can be sure that their real target is unprotected. Also just wondering where your statement about my innocence came from. It seems kinda out of the blue. Yes I will confirm that I am suspicious of you. Your actions so far in this cycle have added to it also. My suspicion of you involves kipper also being a traitor so it isn't like it is set in stone. Other than Kipper and Araris I am also suspicious of Biggoron. I will admit it is a very newfound suspicion as the person who brought him up in our PM surely knows but I am fairly confident in it. He has posted enough not to be on a list of inactives but he definitely isn't contributing much. Also despite his lack of activity he sure was quick to respond after his name got coloured in the thread last cycle. EDIT: Vote Colour
  9. They could not kill someone because they wanted us to focus on inactives when they are indeed active. Someone also could've just forgotten to place the kill action. However what is most likely in this game is that the eliminators targeted a Voidbringer. Hence no kill and no mention of Elantrian protection in the write-up.
  10. Ya I suppose that at this point killing of inactives isn't really a priority. However I think we probably do have some traitors on the fringe of inactivity. So I will suggest Biggoron as someone who fits that bill. I was asked about him in a PM and didn't really have anything to say even though he has been posting occasionaly. EDIT I meant to colour Biggoron for death not a scan oops.
  11. Key on anything that will help the town. Not everything. Leaking roles just because you are dying doesn't help the town. If you have roles then share them with whomever you think is most trustworthy in a PM. What you could post is everyone who has done something odd that you find suspicious. Or what people were talking to you in PMs and what kind of stuff they asked about. Here are my suspicions that I sent out to a few people I expect I may die this cycle so I figure I should post y suspicions now. Add Elkanah to the suspect list as I sent all my suspicions to him and didn't get any sort of response even though it was read almost immediately.
  12. I will second everything Meta said in that post. The way this game is going the cultists don't need to do any fancy manipulating or try and control the thread to win this one. All they have to do is kill the talkative people and hide out among all the barely active traders. This is a great strategy for them and can basically guarantee a win, if we let them. It is also a very easy strategy for us to combat. All we need to do is talk. Force them to come out of the shadows. You don't need to analyze every player or make an all encompassing strategy for winning the game. It's enough to just say who seems suspicious or even odd. Meta gave everyone a very easy way to participate by asking to choose between Jain and Creccio and tell the thread. That doesn't take a lot of analysis or time. All you had to do was say who you found more suspicious. I don't care if it is just cause you have a bad feeling about one of them or if you actually have an explanation for your choice. It's up to you. You signed up for this game and I assume it is because people enjoy it. I know stuff comes up sometimes in RL that can take up your time and that's fine. I just don't believe that most of the people here suddenly had something come up that they didn't know about last week when you chose to sign up.
