  1. Well that was interesting. So the first two people attacked both had accelerated healing then. Orloks original vote for Anamaxinder was definitely not based on the best of reasons but it was a first day vote so what else do you expect? I don't really see what else makes him kill worthy. 1: Why are you so sure they don't have a kill role when already two people with accelerated healing have been discovered? 2: That is the third time Ada has said he was innocent/not a reckoner in this post. Repetition for a reason? This one is most interesting since he says "I am innocent and a High Epic" key on the high epic. I don't know about anyone else but in my GM PM I was told that I was an Epic, not a High Epic. Just poor wording or because he didn't get the same type of PM? High Epic is a Final Title that you get depending on how many Epics are alive at the end of the game. 3: Logical Fallacy! Just because you were right about Anamaxinder (which isn't that hard to be when the odds are 75-80% that you were) that doesn't mean that you are any more likely to be right about anything else going forwards. Extra thoughts: I know that Ada acknowledges MR10 but I would think because of the success of that ploy he would be more likely to try something similar again. Confidence is key! I think we can conclude for sure that Ada is a Matter disrupter or part of a reckoner team that includes one. It wouldn't be smart to lie about something like that if you know that someone out there knows you are lying and has a kill role. EDIT: Ninja'd by Ada
  2. So board game weekend is finished and it was a smashing success. I shouldn't have anything stopping me from contributing here daily for a while now. So Phat when you say "Latest clarification: you are notified if you survive an attack, but not if you are protected from one." does that mean you are told if you survive from accelerated healing but not if it's a forcefield that saved you? I disagree that Anamaxinder being an Epic really implicates any of those players there as it was a a first cycle lynch on a perpetual inactive. I doubt any reckoners would really stick there head out too far for that. Still any random list of four players is more likely than not to have a reckoner in it so you still could be right.
  3. I suppose absent wasn't the ideal word to use. He just hadn't posted very much, just a few one line posts. The reason for choosing him? Mostly because he showed up at the wrong time I guess. I don't really have much suspicions that so I just went with the most recent person who stuck out. His post struck me as off and there wasn't much time left in the cycle and I didn't like how the vote was going. As for faction I actually didn't even check to see what faction he was until after proposing him. Also I won't be around much more for the rest of this cycle and the beginning of next since I have two exams coming up tomorrow.
  4. Nope, You are right that I am definitely too old for that. Now as for something more related to this thread. Unfortunately I will be going on vacation for a week in the middle of when this game will be running so I can't actually play . Can I just get added to the spectator doc when it starts up if there is one?
  5. For me it depends on how much school work I have. The more work I have to do the more time I spend on the Shard. It's the most basic form of procrastination. I do do science you are correct and yes that was a joke. I don't however know too much about prion diseases although I do find them fascinating.
  6. I actually had a thought about this last night just before falling asleep. I'm honestly surprised I still remember since I usually forget everything by morning. So the diagrammists must have known we didn't lynch a diagrammist bondsmith on cycle 1. Now we know for sure the bondsmith is still alive. So what if the Elsecaller didn't actually change the alignment and just the role? They would expect everyone to say "that can't be right that we just lynched an eliminator AND a bondsmith!". So by changing the role to something we wouldn't believe they could just leave the alignment expecting us to assume it was also changed. Just a crazy theory. Anyone else have thoughts on this? Also about the lynch on Maill I am not a fan of how few people are taking part in this. With the amount of talking maill has done I feel like we should be able to have so much more discussion before lynching him. However I like the Venture lynch even less. So I would like to propose an alternate target. Alvron has been very absent throughout almost all of the game but comes on just in time to put a third vote on Maill with well, not much reasoning. Before this he only posted a few lines about maills original role list and once saying he would post more later followed by no posts.
  7. That does make some sense. But by lynching inactives we also end up with less information from their death. I guess in this game with no way of knowing about alignment of dead players we already don't gain very much from lynches so I'm not entirely sure how to go about it. I would prefer if we had some cooks start taking out inactives and hope that scares some of them back into action. I haven't noticed inactivity as much in this game because there are a few very active players that are really filling the thread but looking at the player list there are a bunch of players that I really didn't even remember were in this game.
  8. I had already thought that it wasn't a WGG and I suppose that this corroborates with that. If it was a WGG then Venture really hasn't been using any of the trust it afforded her. I have been looking at Maill mostly for his involvement last cycle since he was the one who first voted on Hellscythe but then when it appeared as though he might be lynched he changed his vote over to Venture in what ended up as the tying vote prior to the vote manipulation. Looking back at Mails reasoning for changing his vote doesn't really convince me that something Hell said actually convinced him he was innocent. EDIT: Vote Colour
