  1. That is definitely something we need to worry about. When you die I recommend not sharing any crucial info unless the Greenseer(s) is a players that you trusted prior to death. This isn't a regular dead doc where everything is fun and games. We now have consequences! Also I assume that the same as anyone else in the dead docs they have to choose a colour and put their name on the top so if there were multiple of them they could just look at that to find out if there are any other greenseers. EDIT: PK, it was a good idea, unfortunately a silly little thing called the rules got in the way.
  2. Lopen could you explain your vote on Ada? My main reason for not being suspicious of Ada is confusion. Way back on cycle 2 or something near there he said he would be completely inactive after cycle 7. I fully expected him to do some sort of crazy stunt if he were an eliminator to try and find a loyal hacker or something and them him getting found out and killed for it. However he hasn't done anything of that sort and according to his timeline he will be falling off the map in less than two cycles now. I don't know if that makes sense to anyone else but that is what I'm thinking at the moment. Even if he were a villager I kind of expected something risky so that he wouldn't just fade into inactivity.
  3. Except your PM doesn't take an action to make. It's a passive ability of all players to make a PM with one other player each cycle. It seems pretty clear in the rules and also in the GM PM it says every cycle you can vote, start a PM, use your role ability. Not PM or use role ability.
  4. I agree with most of these points but not exactly all of them. 1: We don't want the Rangers target to be well known since if a traitor is the one with the second most votes they will let someone else do the traitor kill instead so we won't ever catch that. 2: We have tried this before and sometimes it works others it doesn't. The main benefit is usually to have a pseudo lynch discusion during the night turn and since this game has all actions/lynches happening on the same turn it isn't as necessary. Also often the players with the kill roles rarely ever actually respect the outcome of the secondary vote. 3: I don't think that most experienced players are really the necessity. I would consider more targeting players who take are active and/or leadership role regardless of experience. 4: For the red priest I don't really care when they use the power but I would recommend never using it on someone who has been lynched and instead use it on the traitor kill. I would just be very careful about the traitors pulling off a WGG if they have the priest. Basically just be careful and use it only on the traitor kill i think. EDIT: Also something I forgot is that I highly recommend village kill roles not using their kills on the first day! I would prefer actually if the players in need of healing were to be the ones revealed in thread because that doesn't actually give any role info. We still have the same problem with traitors claiming to have been wounded. I don't think that they would be as likely to claim that in thread though since it's more likely for them to be caught in the lie then if they did it privately in a pm.
  5. You can say that it is unrelated and it very well be but it also could have been the vote that spurred you to responding even if it wasn't only to me. You are the only one who really knows. Anyways there is still time for me to change my vote don't worry I'm not set on leaving it on you.
  6. A hacker lets them do a fake seeker without having to worry about the data gatherer finding out the lie. Also BB I honestly don't have very much on anyone in this game not just you. My lack of activity in the first few cycles of the game has really limited my ability to do a lot of things in this game including getting good suspicions. However I would say that since you finally started talking now that there is a vote on you I don't really regret it at all.
  7. @Lopen, I did say my reasons for voting Araris weren't great but I think that we needed some sort of lynch last cycle and nobody else seemed to want to push for anything. I was hoping that putting pressure on someone would help get some people to talk but no luck. Also about me getting some stuff about araris wrong but by that point I felt like if I had removed my vote we just would've ended with a tie in the lynch. I am probably most suspicious of Kyn and BB at the moment. I don't really have very much on either of them at the moment. I'm going to put a vote on Bridge Boy for now. As has previously been said he has been mainly just posting RP without much analysis to back it up. In early game he focused mostly on the traitor kill and trying to guess what the traitors will kill and that is usually a fruitless pursuit especially if it is discussed in thread where the traitors can see it. Since then he really hasn't posted any of his game relevant thoughts other than a vote for LUNA.
  8. So Kyn the only reason that you weren't active is because you wanted to see how other players would respond? Does that mean that you actually had the ability to contribute but decided against it? f so I don't think a "social experiment" is worth it to harm your tea like that. You did however mention that it was an excuse for a way to hide. Could you clarify what you mean by that?
  9. The feeling I got with Calamity and "not being able to interfere yet totally interfering" remind me of sixth of the dusk spoilers But everyone knows that Reckoners isn't cosmere so unfortunately there can't possibly be anything there
  10. Well I can't say that I am completely satisfied with how that went down. WE are going to need way more than 6 votes if we want any real discussion to happen. Anyways Elkanah, I would recommend putting inactives on the mission, it's the best way to deal with inactivity rather than wasting lynches on them.
  11. I guess it could have been a response to that, I have just never liked statements whose only purpose is that it sounds towny. Also the other two options for a vote were The Silver Dragon and LUNA, I didn't want to vote for SD cause the missions are a better way to deal with inactivity than wasting lynches on them. As for LUNA I just didn't really have any reasoning at all for that vote and at the time the font change in Arariss post could have been copy paste from eliminator doc.
  12. You are right luckat, The font from Araris posting The Silver Dragon and onwards is the same as the font in the player list so that part of the vote doesn't necessarily mean anything. Still there are other things for voting Araris, firstly as I said in the original post where I voted for him he was saying the village was on the road to destruction even though we have already killed an eliminator and its only day 4, which isn't really that bad of a start at all. That post just seemed like one purely designed to sound "village-like". Also he tried to put forward a Contribution crusade lynch when there is a much better way of dealing with inactives. He also was voting along with Arraenae to try and lynch STINK and changed his vote after it seemed like public opinion was switching. Plus how are we going to get discussion if we are afraid to put a second vote on anyone? I would still like to hear STINKs reasoning for the vote.
  13. Ummm so far we have killed one traitor versus four villagers. That is hardly the road to destruction. If we really want to do Contribution crusade though we should just put all the inactives on a mission together instead of wasting a lynch. By the way Araris, why exactly does your font change halfway through your post? Anamaximinder EDIT: Now that I look again It only is different in the quotes but not the actual post, anyone know why that happens? I was thinking he copy-pasted something from the eliminator doc but maybe it is just something weird just from quoting?
  14. Well I didn't think that my very limited action in this game would result in me being on the top of anyones suspect list. Anyways I will still have a few more days of less than normal activity before rejoining the thread to my normal activity level. Still I wouldn't be against testing the theory Ada put forth. Anamaximander still hasn't really done much that would dissuade me from a vote. Basically he survived day one because that was what he normally does and has just coasted since then. EDIT: Vote Colour
  15. So I was asked about my thoughts on STINK and the seeker in a PM and decided I could actually share the same thoughts down here as well especially since I am still on vacation severely limiting my ability to post often. I don't think that the traitors would really sacrifice one of their own at this point, not really worth it in my opinion. Just in case I wouldn't be against STINK being scanned as well. One point in favour of the 'sacrifice to gain trust' theory is that Arraenae had just used her assassination prior to being lynched. If we see Arraenae disappear from the shard then it could be a case of eliminator having to go inactive so sacrificing for trust before inactivity sets in. At this point I would most likely think they are good. Also if you want to stick me on the mission I will be active enough to put in my orders.
  16. So were the votes tied at two just from regular voting or would it require vote manipulation for a tie? Also I'm still fine with going on the missions since I'm going to have less time for this game over the next week or so but will have time to at the very least send in my mission order thing. Also I realize that Anamaximinder will vote and disappear after and has been lynched for it in the past. I just don't think that it is helpful for the village to do stuff like that. I had also planned on coming back to change my vote later last night once we had had more discussion and hopefully had Anamaximinder post again but then I went out to a friends and ended up getting back late. Also I keep thinking the rollover for this game is the MR11 rollover and missing it. I still would have preferred to lynch Anamaximder over having another tie since we really need to get some discussion going some way or another.
  17. So I have tried to go back and look for a good vote target but nobody really has stood out to me. However with the amount of discussion we've had that isn't surprising. Mostly I see Lopen attempting to find out who an eliminator is from Burnts death to be an exercise if futility and might be the most suspicious thing I have seen yet. But since he is at least talking I don't think that will be the best way to promote discussion. Also about Briddge Boys list of potential trader target could mean something but I doubt it will do anything to change how the traitors approach the kill or how anyone really uses the protective abilities but once again at least he is talking a bit. Also that avatar is making me confuse Bridge Boy with Phatt, so similar! So my best bet I've come up with for a vote then is Anamaximder, You haven't posted since the first cycle and all you did was vote for Arraenae and didn't even respond after she responded to your poke vote. However you have been posting other places on the shard.
  18. Thanks for the great game everyone and for running it Twei and Eol! It was great to be an eliminator again since it had been just under a year since my last game as an eliminator. Most of the time it was me talking to you in the doc too. Sorry that I didn't get time to annotate who actually did say what in your domain but the doc was locked by the time I made it back from class this morning. You were never really in danger of dying. We were planning on saving you with the influential the whole time. Also don't be too hard on yourself Kyn. You managed to survive the whole game despite your own team almost killing you twice, as well as got Lopen to trust you. I almost got through the whole game without having been voted on at all before that last cycle too. I'm also still kinda confused what tipped you off since most of your the stuff you said had to do with me, Hellscythe and SD being on a team. Other than my slip up where I said the traders had two influential, but that was after you had already voted for me I believe.
