  1. Also what about Syl telling Kaladin that Parsendai can't bond with spren?? riddle me that batman. Also I shouldn't have to say it! that this is just my opinion this is a forum to talk about theories after all. t
  2. No the diagram tells Mr T how to stop the upcoming desolation.. "There has to be an answer. What is the answer? Stop. The Parshendi. One of them. Yes they are the missing piece. Push for the Alethi to destroy them outright before this one their obtains power. It will form a bridge." the Bridge in this quote is talking about a bridge formed from Braize where Odium resides to Roshar. Hence ushering a new desolation. So Mr. T is not like Amaram and the Sons of Honor at all.
  3. I wonder if he was ugly would he get the same level of attention?
  4. So do we know who or what the two figures Kaladin saw in the storm are? This probably has been covered already but I couldn't find the post. I was thinking they were two of the unmade. Moalach and Narghoul or however you spell their names. Has there been any WOB's on this subject? Or did he just RAFO everything?
  5. I think he has a tough road ahead of him. I wouldn't use the word overshadows but I think it will be nice for him to have eat some humble pie so to speak. I wonder what seeing his brother become a true badass is going to do to his ego. It will be a good story none the less not my favorite but interesting all the same.
  6. Maxal I agree with you on this I think he is on the road to becoming one. I think he his in the process of being "broken" as we speak. It started with the death of his horse.
  7. I thought it was because Renarin is autistic or something along those lines. Just a nervous habit.
  8. Yeah I think you guys are reading way to much into BS RAFOing. What if BS just didnt want to answer what Glys looks like b/c he doesn't know yet and doesn't want to commit. You guys sound like those Grassy Knoll freaks living in a nuclear fallout selter. Smoke some weed and turn your brains to the low setting for a while
  9. My Favorite is a toss up between Renarin and Dalinar and I guess I am weird but I love excellent bad guys Sadeas is in the mix. I laugh my chull off everytime he gets a scene lol. I will give you Kaladin is getting a little better. But still has a long way to go before I even start liking him. I dont get the Shallan hate though a lot of people seem to dislike her at the end of book 2 I am now finding her enjoyable. Reasons being is she had just as hard a life if not harder than Kaladin and she doesn't go around filled with bile and hate. I think Adolin said it best when he said something along the lines of "hes just so gloomy all the time he is plain unlikeable" If he was just a gloomy character I wouldn't mind it so much. But I have a Bais toward Know-it-all types. I like the strong yet humble characters on the good side at least. One reason I like both Renarin and Dalinar so much both of them have quite a bit of humility in them considering one is a high prince and the other his son. I would like Adolin a lot more but something about his Braggart attitude erks me.
  10. OMG thats awesome!! the thought never even crossed my mind...
  11. I agree with the Jasnah Kaladin idea. However, you accually like Kaladin? He is my least favorite Character.. if you think about it All of his misfortunes have been his own doing or his fathers. Roshone problem= simple move away. Amaram problem=simple claim the blade and plate then give it away at a later place and time if you dont want it.. He instead blames all the ills of the world on one class of people. He hates all lighteyes after knowing like 4 of them before the bridgecrews I mean. He is a 20 year old punk who thinks he knows everything and is proven wrong time and time again. O and he is a cry baby to boot.
  12. "Nothing wrong with being a woman Gon"
  13. Nah sorry I am not buying into that. I don't really think Moash is the type of guy to take being used by the Diagramist lightly. He is the type of guy to go put a hurtin on someone for makeing him look like a fool. I think its much more likely that he will come to the realization that these people he is now in bed with are his enemies.
  14. To bad we can't get a scene with Wit and Kruppe going at it huh Of course that would be the one person who would get the better of Wit...
  15. That is true I had forgotten that when I just posted above. It seems more than likely my little on the spot theory might have some traction after all.
  16. Hopefully that is the case... I dont want him to become a windrunner I kind of feel like he made his choice. If he is going to be a Radiant at all I would rather him become one of the other orders we haven't seen yet. How about a Stoneward... I say Stoneward for a few reasons, One, I think it would be ironic b/c Moash is a traitor twice over. Also he seems to be a natural warrior picking up the way of the warrior very easy. Also he is stubborn even in "proven error" which is a trait of the stonewards. It would be cool if he redeemed himself by learning about then exposing the majority of the Diagramists.
  17. I tend to agree with you Teft was my second choice. I do not understand some people on this forums idea that because one is a Squire they therefore cant become a knight. That seems really stupid to me considering in history the very definition of a "Squire" is a Knight in training...
  18. I heard there is going to be a new windrunner in the next book. What are your thoughts on who it will be. I think it will be Yalb the sailor because of the wind spren that made a face at Shallan at the very beginning of WOR. I think that was really an honorspen.
  19. Say what I said brother!! that was my main point and the reason I think this is a continuity error...my main question is how is it possible to become a radiant all the while totally disregarding the first Ideal of all ten orders. Sorry I am not buying into the whole evil radiant line of reasoning. And yes I do understand the orders didn't always get along etc etc.. However one thing they all have in common is the first Ideal.
  20. really that seems like a continuity error to me. On one hand we a guy who is going to cause the deaths of thousands of people. And at the same time BS says he was on the way to becoming a Radiant. "the radiant seeks to defend life always"
  21. I have to agree with you on Gavilar both he and Mr T. totally missed the point of the visions. Unlike Dalinar he didn't seem to change that much throughout getting the visions. Yes he changed a little by refusing duels and reading the way of kings, However he totally missed or ignored the point of the Radiant Ideals and the life before death aspect of them. So no he wasn't on the way to becoming a radiant. More than likely the Stormfather just made a mistake in his choice of humans to receive the visions and corrected it by leading the Parsendai to buying Szeth. That last part is just my guess.
  22. sorry but no more britsh accents please so sean bean is out
  23. To Hell with his wishes transcribe it then email a copy to me...:) j/k
  24. Couldn't do it justice in a movie based on the time needed. And I disagree strongly with the idea of a Animated series, I am like most of the readers of these wonderful books an adult, and have no desire what so ever to watch cartoons. I think the best bet would be a tv series if it was done by Netflix or HBO and enough money put into the budget in order to get the special effects right. Anyway that is my two cents.
  25. ok thanks. She is 13 btw.
