  1. I believe Brandon's novellas are generally not released that widely in physical print, usually mostly as e-books. That's the format in which i have Legion and Skin Deep (and every other novella-length Sanderson work). I have seen a pattern where his novellas are sometimes eventually released in a double-book edition with a second novella, though, as will be the case with Perfect State and Shadows for Silence. Perhaps the Legion stories will be released that way at some point.
  2. Yep. Just like a lake preparing for a thunderstorm.
  3. In theory, I'm generally in favor of the pruning of inactives. In practice, though, I'm going to be rather sparsely involved myself over the next couple of cycles due to a medical situation (my wife having surgery), so I might not post in the main thread, but I'll still be talking as I can to the PM groups of which I'm a part. So I'd appreciate people not killing me if I don't post over a cycle or two.
  4. It's so simple! All I have to do is divine from what I know of you: are you the sort of man who would make the clue extremely obvious or make it so obscure that it would be a riddle wrapped in an enigma? Now, a clever man would be referring to a non-Cosmere character, because he would know that only a great fool would guess a character from the Cosmere in a clue about colorless poison. I am not a great fool, so I can clearly not choose a character from the Cosmere. But you must have known I was not a great fool; you would have counted on it! So I can clearly not choose a character from the non-Cosmere books.
  5. Colorless and Odorless? Hmm, let's see... Vivenna Siri Vivenna and Siri's father (I forget his name) Denth Vasher Nightblood Tonk Fah
  6. For some reason this is the first thing I thought of when I read that:
  7. I see those coins on the counter just ready to be shot! Nicely done.
  8. Bort is correct that I've been covert in past games, most notably in LG10, when I was an eliminator. (The role kinda calls for covert deception if you're an eliminator, right?) I was also trying to be covert in the MR5 game that just ended, because half of my team was knocked out in the early stages and Wilson was acting like she'd defected to "team Chaos," so I had little choice but to try to fly under the radar and take covert action. In the only other game where I've been a villager so far, QF6, I was completely open with everyone else who was a villager, though I was careful about revealing information to people who weren't confirmed as villagers (as anyone should be). I've been very open with everyone I've been communicating with in this game, which should be a sign that I'm not trying to play both sides of the coin here. Other than that, though, I suppose I have no proper defense in this case, since any conclusive game-related information I could give could be detrimental to the actual, not-a-lie confirmed villagers group of which I'm a part, and I won't sell out information about my fellow villagers just to save my own skin. I only know that we had a colossal case of bad timing with Ostrich getting attacked. We don't even know if the spiked were targeting Ostrich specifically... they could have been simply targeting a random person in that room. If I had a vote, which I don't, I would be voting for Honey Badger. His behavior patterns are definitely suspicious and lead to the conclusion that he's either spiked or acting rather oddly for some other reason.
  9. Yeah, in my mind this practically confirms that the Unmade are the Parshendi/Voidbringers' gods. We know that the Unmade have been analogized as "Odium's Heralds" before.
  10. Akak Sumi Arak The Reshi Isles in general
  11. I really don't see why it's so difficult a concept to grasp. If the series is based on some alternate-reality version of Earth, it isn't Cosmere. Earth, in any recognizable form, is not in the Cosmere. Done. Period. End of Sentence. Thank you, drive safely going home.
  12. I'm fairly certain there's a sizeable backlog, but Adam (Brandon's assistant) did eventually get back to me and e-mail me White Sand after a couple of months or so.
  13. You might want to change the color of your post, Honey Badger. As it stands now, you're voting for Clanky, because his name is in red (and is the first name in red) in your post. Unless that's what you were trying to do in a sneaky way...
  14. Here's an old meme but still a goodie. (WoK spoilers)
  15. Vasher Nightblood
  16. Creating these is fun. Spoiler tags because the pics are huge:
  17. All the reader has to do is click on the thumbnails to view them full-size, Chouta. Your post is just fine. EDIT: And more entries.
