It has come to my attention that the other Denizens' and my creation, sale, and use of Hemalurgic cookies has upset many people, including the Anti-Bakery, Light Alley, and Mediocrely Lit Alleys. Also, I believe that we (the Dark Alley) need to broaden our horizons. For those reasons, I am starting the Non-Hemalurgic Research Division (NHRD) of the Dark Alley, which will specialize in, well, non-Hemalurgic Research. WHAT IS THIS! First the Anti-Bakery and now a "Light Alley?" What is this forum coming to? What is the point of an Alley without Spikes? Spikes are vastly superior to Metalminds, for the following reasons: Spikes can be used by anyone, while Metalminds can only be used by Feruchemists. There's no point in giving out Metalminds, because only their creator can use them. Spikes cause Shardic influence. (Yes, this is a benefit.) Spikes can transfer many more abilities and traits than Feruchemy can. Quinoa. Note that when ranked in order of importance, those reasons are [5, 2, 1, 3, 4].

Speaking of non-Euclidean, non-standard spatial arrangements, have I told anyone about the Transdimensional Linking Alleys that I've been working on? (That's why Alley 23 is still a hazard zone). In theory, you can enter the Alley from one end, and leave somewhere else.
