  1. Oh, Napoleon was a big deal in Russia at that time. It almost seems like you loved him or despised him. This culture plays a central role in Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment.
  2. To quote an interdimensional Austrian Moose: "Alvays believe in yourself!"
  3. Well that depends. Iceberg lettuce is never exciting, but getting flogged with wet Romaine lettuce? You have not experienced life until you've been flogged with wet Romaine lettuce!
  4. Well, she sounds like a pinko commie sympathizer! (Yes, I know she is probably the exact opposite, but it's more fun to use McCarthyisms )
  5. You could also expose said opinions to the Shard for ridicule!
  6. Whatever, if one is a popular enough villain, one will inexplicably return, even from certain death!
  7. A soda machine? I'm sold! I, for one, welcome our new Slytherclaw Overlords.
  8. Could be, I confuse the two. It's almost like the books give you the impression that only two houses matter
  9. Is Hufflepuff the nerd house? Because I would be that since I would point out the portrait isn't the same as the headmaster. I would then go home to eat a cup of ramen soup alone, wondering why I did not have any friends.
  10. I'm more in agreement with Delightful. We would need some serious danger/torture going on for Marasi to spike herself, I think. However, wanting to communicate with Harmony for raisins would potentially be part of her arc in this novel. And it would not be difficult for her to recover the earring.
  11. We could also have "new Heralds". So Renarin could become a Herald and die and still be part of the story, as he suffers in Braize.
  12. I don't know, I view it as a more Job like story. Oedipus was a good man that saved the town and was a hero. Despite that, bad things happened to him at the mere whim of the universe. So while the original myth may have had the lesson: You can not fight fate, the play seems to say: hey, bad things happen to good people and it isn't necessarily their fault.Another issue with the play is that we only have one part of it. It's much like having only one part of a trilogy, like only having The Fellowship of the Ring, our Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It's hard to know Sophocles'intention because we do not have the complete work.
  13. Well, at least you can't say the "happy couple" overreacted to the "big reveal".
  14. Silly students, you make offerings to Pythagoras for Trigonometry, possibly Geometry! Newton or Liebniz would be better suited for calculus.
  15. I think this is the first act of a romantic comedy and little wilson and the insurance agent will fall for each other. Hijinks will insure, followed by a minor misunderstanding and the stopping of a person getting on a plane. It'll be the feel good movie of the year!
  16. But of course... It's just a pain to use those brackets on my phone! Sob! Woe is me!
  17. He would also have to leave out the dot, I think, since It's location would clarify which number was meant.
  18. {Spoiler} Testing phone functionality for using spoilers! How random is that!{/spoiler} Drat, it failed! Back to the drawing board...
  19. I'm just glad that the last clips seem to be just that: a boring issue of accounting. Makes the relationship between Wax and Steris more meaningful, I think.
  20. Is she kicking up the field mice and bopping them on the head again? That fairy was very clear that she would be turned into an ogre if she continued doing that.
  21. Only to object to the ceremony and declare my undying love to the bride.
  22. Perfectly normal for things to feel weird, however it goes And however it goes, interest in a second date equals success. You nailed it!
