  1. No she disliked him from when she thought it would be great to demand the darkeyes boots at their first meeting. That's why I think it's either because she likes him and can't admit it to herself. Kal doesn't owe an apology because he was defending his lord. He didn't assassinate Heleran and didn't know Amaram was a sociopath.
  2. Before Shallan can resolve SKA, she needs to solve VSR(Veil/Shallan/Radiant) first
  3. Maybe Kaladin needed him so he unconsciously fed him extra stormlight
  4. Summon Maya and tell them to knock it off. I wonder if that's why Shallan was always aggravated with Kaladin because she likes him.
  5. I doubt it since I don't think they'd gather the Unmade in one place, especially since one Unmade was haunting Urithiru. Also, Dalinar rejected Odium and he's also bound to the cognitive shadow of a Shard Odium killed, I think it's personal now. Odium may recruit all he can but he'll want to kill Dalinar and co. himself.
  6. People in shardplate or apparently Horneater squires
  7. Also having a dying god ranting in your head couldn't have helped matters
  8. BAM is the other really smart Unmade we haven't interacted with right and she got a taste of leadership without Odium. She might not be apparently ready to defect like Sja-Anat but she might not be as eager to be a subordinate again
  9. @NymerosYou also have to think of the book setting being Medieval and therefore not the same. Dalinar is basically a good analogue of real historical figures who are viewed differently now. Columbus wasn't a nice guy but that view is more recent, except for Native populations but that's just one example, Charlamagne is the one I'm thinking of. Back to fiction, Dalinar is an amalgum of historical conquerors and has rivers of blood on his hands. Yet he is now the best chance a united Roshar has even though from our perspective he's guilty of war crimes. I'm not trying to minimize anything but we can't apply 21st century standards to the 15th.
  10. @Ashspren Very clever sig using all the shards we know, have an upvote
  11. They weren't married before so Shallan could hide behind her masks. Now they'll be living together so she can't hide anymore. I expect book four will have lots of Shallan drama in it.
  12. It won't be perfectly happy, Shallan has two major personalities and a minor one. She still thinks of them as separate and one has unresolved feelings. All this would have to be swept under the rug.
  13. Could she really believe Mraize was telling the truth about getting them out?
  14. Do we actually %100 know Voidlight is of Odium, considering the original voidbringers were humans because pre-Oathbringer we assumed voidbringers were always the parsh.
  15. I think Adolin wanted to go through with it because someone else made the big decision. Shallan wanted a facade of happiness she could hide behind. Between them Syl will help Kal resolve his issues so he'll be good, more or less; I still have no idea how she can summon the patternblade. She has yet to have her teft moment and rise to the occasion.
  16. I could easily see Hoid being a DJ.
  17. Even though Alethkar has to be in large measure reconquered, they still have a heretic as queen and Dalinar is a lesser god and high king I think. People will rally around Jasnah because enough of them will see that having a civil war in the middle of invasion, occupation and a desolation is a tad bit unwise. They may not like it but they'll do it
  18. Considering that Stormlight can be converted to Breath, Vivenna/Azure could have however much Breath she wants. They both may be functionally immortal and anyway, I see Jasnah setting or trying to set Kal up with someone to reinforce alliances since he's basically a Kholin now anyway.
  19. Maybe Sja-Anat kept the ability hidden since BAM is the high princess. I'd think Sja-Anat would be the loftiest unmade if people knew she could corrupt Radiatspren because corrupting them would outdo producing voidlight.
  20. Kaladin's evolution will hinge on Elokhar since he died because Kal cared about everyone in that skirmish
  21. Since Gavinor now survived, is Jasnah still Queen or did she get demoted to regent?
  22. Hoid is a mistborn so he could've done something. Hoid is also very weird in general, considering how old he is. Just because he's mysterious, doesn't mean he always uses magic.
  23. Would Vasher work though? After all, he's not your average worldhopper.
  24. Skyscraper A movie about a building fire
  25. Over on dragonmount forums they said Jordan had only written a sentence for the Mat trilogy so I don't think anyone could write more based on notes. The prequels maybe but now that Brandon is well established in his own universe, I highly doubt he'd go near that one again.
