[OB] Newbie here looking to share and hear theories.
Angsos replied to The Harlem Worldhoppers's topic in Stormlight Archive
My guess is her self-perception is too strong because if shardblade wounds can be healed, simple fall wounds should be healable. -

Why Rysn or was that a joke. I do agree though that Rysn is still around for a reason other than having a character in a wheelchair. Rlain might very well be a bondsmith because he's the first non-hostile Parshendi character we met that's still around. He obviously has something very important to do and Venli has a spren, two of them, really. -
[OB] Poll: How do you pronounce Stormlight names?
Angsos replied to Llarimar's topic in Stormlight Archive
Maybe a little sometimes but not that much. -
I thought the blade was female and I think the God King could be important, like they have to be careful not to attract attention. Also they really have to avoid his wife's name orwell all sorts of shenanigans might happen.

however it was in the past, now will probably be different because Nale has spent the past 2 1/2 thousand years killing all memory or potential. Stormfather probably, I doubt he'll tell dalinar though. Someone should ask brandon if all potential bondsmiths have appeared onscreen, as it were, yet because he'd most likely RAFO will nightwatcher and the sibling be bonded or give an Aes Sedai answer
-
Could the Sibling be the real old magic spren and cultivation just coopted it. After all, we have stormfather, Nightwatcher and I doubt the sibling would be odium superspren and it seems redundant to have a combined cultivation/honor superspren

[OB] Poll: How do you pronounce Stormlight names?
Angsos replied to Llarimar's topic in Stormlight Archive
Since I listen to the audiobooks, I just pronounce it like Michael and Kate do. -
Lift probably is aging, just more slowly than normal. Do we know if spren age because she's close to their realm?
-
I've seen lava and fire. King Koopa spits, there are lava pits in lots of video and mario can shoot fireballs after eating a flower
-
sorry yes, that's what I meant
-
Jeff, he needs all his power, and possibly help even then, to kill shards. He killed, mortally wounded, Ambition and then killed and splintered Devotion and Dominion before getting stuck in the Rosharan system
-
My guess is whatever the parshendi did, fused with tne new Unmade and now they're indistinguishable. Clearly, there's something inside because it does too many weird things, like stopping, for there not to be a controlling influence.
-
Midavis, the honorblades gives heralds their powers and welcome to the shard
-
I think he's ashamed because he knows he should be more. Also, he lied to people he now considers friends
-
I'm not getting into the whole Lift debate but she does strike me as an unreliable narrator.

[OB] Question about Lift and the Thrill
Angsos replied to Nightfire107's topic in Stormlight Archive
hey, that's not politically correct and the Unmade are sad. They're large boned spren, oh and Sja-anat is coming for your secrets -
Because he thinks he is the law therefore killing and anything else he does is right because he thinks he is Law. Also, he joined Odiums side officially now.

Some of them do, some don't. Nale for example, he and the skybreakers are still keeping oaths and but at least in Nale's case, he's evil and the rest are either evil or misguided. Look at Dalinar, he's who he is now because of non-binding, at first, oaths. It all depends, I think.
-
The high king or whatever Dalinar's title is a heretic and the Queen of the Alethi is a heretic, I kinda doubt the church is going to forgive that.
-
Maybe she asked the nightwatcher for pancakes

[OB] Question about Lift and the Thrill
Angsos replied to Nightfire107's topic in Stormlight Archive
I'm just guessing but the Unmade are splinters I guess, perhaps that's why -
She's really Jon Snow's mother. Incidentally you do realize George is never going to finish.
-
I wonder if one of the reasons Brandon keeps putting off Nightblood is that the book would spoil too much.
-
It seems plausible as Hessina always seemed different but couldn't Aesudan and Hessina know the same tune. Also that would kind of nix the Jasnah/Kaladin thing some people want but then again I don't if first cousins would be sanctioned or not.
