  1. Isn't it possible Nale killed whoever actually got Nightblood from Nightwatcher as opposed to getting it himself. Being a Herald, he would know who Nightwatcher and Cultivation and would want to stay far, far away.
  2. Adolin doesn't even want to king though and if he were punished in some way for Sadeas' murder, I see him being smart enough to understand why. I do agree though the love triangle isn't dead until Shallan becomes whole because Veil still likes Kaladin. He heard Maya in his head and she summoned in less than 10 heartbeats so I'm fairly certain he's a radiant.
  3. I don't think Moash will be champ for the simple reason that alot of people in-world and not already hate him so making him champ would be anti-climactic. I don't think Taln could be the champ because he's set up at the ultimate good guy. I see George R.R. Martin doing that twist easily but not Sanderson. I fully expect the champ to someone readers like, just not Taln.
  4. For one thing, Dalinar's still around so he is a sliver Some of Honor's power but still human, Dalinar is on his way though and by the end will likely be a shard, if not more. We saw Raysium or Bavidium already but if Dalinar becomes a full shard, maybe his godmetal will be amnesium.
  5. The graphic novels thing I don't understand, are the white sand ones popular enough that he thinks more are a good idea? I'm legally-blind so graphics novels aren't my thing so I don't follow them.
  6. Ishar, I wish I could give more than one upvote for It's a Trap!
  7. My guess is he can complete Alcatraz fairly quickly unless Rithmatist, I have no idea. I do think Brandon won't let any of his cosmere books be series because of GoT. Even though he writes much faster than Martin, he sees that the tv series will in all likelihood finish his magnum opus and Brandon won't let that happen to him I'm sure. How solid is the whole Dark One deal because like others have said, other deals sounded promising too but then evaporated to Mist.
  8. The Demon Cycle is very good but yes, it is Rated for everything. Not strictly fantasy, more historical fiction but Guy Gavriel Kay's books are very good. Peter f. Hamilton is very good too but I listen to them on Audible. Some are quite long and I don't know how they are reading. I also liked Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan books and Harry Potter, though it read like she phoned the last book in. I'd watch the last two movies instead of reading the book. Of course Lord of the Rings but personally I'd listen to the Rob Inglis narrated audiobooks. One of the best ever.
  9. Also, there isn't significance to everything Brandon does or doesn't do in the books. It's more than likely a few of the things fans think have great significance, have none at all and then like the Who killed Asmodean thread on Dragonmount, they'll be pages and pages and pages more discussion even after.
  10. Pretty sure doing a Martin will be used in the future to tell writers what not to do, I can't speak for Rothfuss as I know no more than fan gripes. As far as Brandon projects, I think Brandon what needs to be finished and what doesn't. Besides, as some said above, starting with a cosmere book probably would work because it's not done. You don't want to have them start a Mistborn series and have a tv series pull material from unwritten cosmere books, like GoT is doing with Ice and Fire. Speaking of, will martin ever finish or has he said the TV show will
  11. If we aren't all splintered by human stupidity first
  12. We'll probably get the szeth arguments through flashbacks or something since I feel like that won't wait a year. This is the Parshendi book so something with Rlain is possible but if he is a bondsmith, he may have to leave Urithiru. The Stormfather is everywhere and he came to Dalinar, sort of. We don't even have an idea what the sibling is, much less where it is and I guess he would have to go to the island if his bond was Nightwatcher
  13. Maybe that's how Brandon writes so much, he creates avatars to help and at least one got loose
  14. I think Dalinar would be able to pull Jasnah back because he already came back from the psychopath tyrant warlord and know it leads nowhere, especially if you accidently kill the person you sort of care about.
  15. Someone should ask Brandon that to see what, if any, answer he gives.
  16. I mixed those two up, I new Elantris had to be complete before something and mixed Mistborn up with Stormlight
  17. Why is that odd, we don't know where the Heralds come from but why should they look alike?
  18. There has to be a reason Elantris 2&3 can't be written until after SA5 so it's possible Dalinar and/or everyone's favorite cognitive entity could get it. Devotion would work well with Dalinar's other shard or whatever, devoted to unity. It's entirely possible I think. Granted, I'm not as cosmerically aware as most seem to be on here so maybe there is a reason that wouldn't work. If you put adonalsium back together, that will require movement.
  19. Tien was specifically killed right? in that case, do we know why Kaladin wasn't killed then or after bridgeruns because Nale seems very well informed?
  20. I think Ishamael is going to be Odium's Champ since he has 12,000 or so years to wait for the bore to be drilled.
  21. Also, does Odium get more wiggle room now that one of the Heralds is actually dead and another one, despite whatever logic tricks he may use, is serving the thing the oathpact was designed to imprison.
  22. Moash is way too obvious to be Odium's champ, as is Renarin with the whole corrupted spren, Shallan might serve since Odium would be the easy way out. Mr. T might work as he's cultivation's man, though he doesn't know it.
  23. The love triangle wasn't resolved because 1/3 of Shallan(Veil) still likes Kaladin, meaning Shallan herself isn't completely sold on Adolin even though she chooses at the end. Also, in real life, would that be neatly wrapped, I doubt it. The book seemed fine to me, maybe I'll spot stuff you're talking about when I listen to it again.
  24. That's probably why we haven't seen Shinovar given that's where this, in every sense of the word, all started
  25. I think it depends on how she develops after Oathbringer
