    I liked Elantris more, so I would say after. The Rithmatist is a fun book though, and much shorter than Elantris.

    I haven't developed them very far at all, but I'm planning on having a small group of people based around farming an oasis. They'll probably be right up near the north border too.

    Yes. Though, moving it closer to the center, right around the place where the orange and the desert meet, would give the other two more space.

    For the magic, it would be cool to have it work something like Elantris. Where each region is different while still having the same basic rules. Also, if I'm allowed to claim a region, the middle of the eastern desert (the part nearby the orange) looks nice to me.

    This sounds cool and I'd like to join if that's all right. 1) I like abundant magic but if more people prefer rare, that is okay as well. 2) Somewhat different, at least. 3) I'd like a nice, hot desert to play with.

    Welcome! It doesn't make much difference what order you read the books in, though you may want to save Stormlight for last as there are several cool easter egg sort of things in them. The Rithmatist is not part of the Cosmere.

    I don't think that line is cringeworthy, I think it works quite well. I would give the honor of the most cringeworthy line in the Stormlight Archive to "We focused on making certain you were separated from Dalinar, and not on what our actions might push you to become!" from Graves little speech near the end. Actually, it's the only line I think is cringeworthy.

    The story itself is interesting, but all the errors make it hard to read. Here are the errors I noticed and suggestions I have for the first 3 pages. There are a lot more throughout the entire chapter.

    I have OCD, severe anxiety, and 0 friends. I read Way of Kings and Words of Radiance in two days. I really love cheesecake and have eaten an entire one for myself. I think far too much about super powered ferrets.

    That first paragraph (of the blurb) is one of the worst things I've ever read. The cover looks good though, really excited for this book.
