  1. Mistspren (the spren that were working on the honorspren ship) are intelligent spren who have not previously bonded. Whether they can't or just chose not to we don't know.
  2. I don't see him reviving her without bonding with her, I think that's how it works. Granted she could then decide to leave, but I think breaking the bond at the point he'll have to get to to fully heal her is non-trivial and I don't think she'd want to anyway. I can't imagine her being anything other then incredibly grateful to him and wanting to stick around and help him.
  3. . I don't think they "steal" anything. Normally spren are essentially piggybacking off their Radiant's connection to the Physical Realm. Someone,(Ithink it was @Calderis had an interesting theory about how they were stuck in a Physical state but without an innate Physical aspect the Investiture that made up their Cognitive Aspect had to be used instead and that's why they are so messed up.
  4. It would be easiest for the person who broke it to do it like what happened with Kaladin and Syl, because they had a prior connection with the spren. But Brandon has hinted that it might be possible for another person to do it and something does seem to be happening with Adolin and Maya.
  5. I do not believe that a human soul contains enough raw Investiture to significantly affect a being of pure Investiture, even a damaged one. I think the implications from the story and WoBs is that it would take a Nahel bond to heal her.
  6. She will probably be different than she once was, due to trauma if nothing else, but I don't think she will be fundamentally a different being and I think Adolin will end up as a basically-normal Edgedancer. They certainly won't be as weird as Renarin and Glys are. Most of the interesting implications will be for how they relate to each other, and how others react to them.
  7. I think exploring variations on a theme and how similar plotlines can play out differently is interesting, done right, and I trust Brandon to do it right.
  8. Yeah I am strongly of the opinion that the Sibling is a mix of Honor and Cultivation.
  9. I'm sad Eshonai died, but I do understand the reasoning behind it and I trust Brandon that it will make a better story in the end. Besides, Venli did grow on me over the course of Oathbringer. She is genuinely an interesting character. And to actually answer the topic question, my current favourite Radiants are Kaladin and Dalinar. But if Adolin revives Maya he might just become my new favourite.
  10. And yes, it is in fact Nightblood. Also there is another character from Warbreaker in the book, but maybe you want to try to find them on a reread.
  11. All the foreshadowing seems to indicate that something along those lines might happen. Though I'm sure Brandon will come up with a way to avoid making it feel like a rehash of what happened in the other story.
  12. Odium is currently on Roshar.
  13. Re the nature of the Sibling's investiture I suspect they are a 'child' of Honor and Cultivation and composed equally of Investiture from both.
  14. I believe Era 4 will have Hoid as A main character, not THE main character.
  15. Windrunners and Edgedancers would make an amazing search and rescue team. Maybe with an Elsecaller or Lightweaver along to Soulcast debris away. (Division seems like a bad idea when there's wounded people around.)
  16. All Moash's current problems are his own fault.
  17. I have a better idea,let's ship Sja-anat and the Nightwatcher.
  18. I definitely want to read "Jasnah roadtrips (or boattrips) through Shadesmar" and how Drehy and Skar got little Gav out of Kholinar. Also, Lightsong's Warbreaker chapters but from Llarimar's PoV.
  19. I think kandra are less connected than spren and CS, so I don't think they would. Or less so, anyway. There's at least one confirmed worldhopping kandra.
  20. I wouldn't be surprised either way personally.
  21. Yeah, there are problems and potential problems with their relationship, but I don't see that as 'it shouldn't have happened' but 'hey let's explore their relationship, and see how they work through the problems (or don't).
  22. Sometimes you need a crutch in order to heal at all. Leaning on somebody else when you need help is not a bad thing.
  23. Honor didn't plan his death probably, but he did know it was coming in time to set things up,and merged his Cognitive Shadow with the Stormfather after his death.
  24. Lift summons Wyndle as a fork at the end of Edgedancer. A very sharp fork but still a fork.
  25. I'm pretty sure Brandon has said that he based it on tide pool ecosystems.
