  1. My vote is on Digits as well. And hopefully this doesn't change, because I can't guarantee that I'll be on long enough tomorrow before the day ends to post again, changing my vote. I check up regularly on my phone, but I really hate replying/posting on that thing. Hate it with a fiery passion.
  2. The second part. The person slumping. Well. It's good no one died. It's not so good the Inquisitor has a convert. And someone Snapped. The question is, why? Was it because the Inquisitor converted a Misting (which requires an Unsnapped to Snap) or was it because they lucked out on their 10% chance each night. Statistically, it makes more sense for the converted Misting, but...yeah. Also, despite the calmness of the night and the lack of action, that was a great write up.
  3. You got it. Any chance to use my mod-power must needs be taken. Wilson listens to the wise List Master, creating a short list (of course) of this very crucial information. "I shall practice," she nods. "Every day. Every hour. I will make you proud." Haha! I endorse this analogy. In your defense, I'd already suggested being an apprentice prior to your statement. The secondary opinion simply made me realize how brilliant it was. And that it was indeed the path I wanted my life to take. I mean, messenger was kinda fun. I kept up on all the gossip and secrecy in town. It was great. But it's just not a very ambitious career choice, you know?
  4. Hey! I'd rather not have that target painted on my back, thank you very much. Also, Aether, was that permission to add to your posts when you're knocked out cold mean that I can edit your posts with my mod-power? And I don't think I'm adept enough at creating the lists yet to have them tell my own particular brand of the truth...might you be able to teach me this, oh grand Master?
  5. That's not entirely true. Here's the exact quote: So if a Misting is converted, an Unsnapped will Snap into that power (unless they get the 25% chance of getting something different).
  6. In that situation, yes. We could. Do we even have another Lurcher? If we don't, it all depends on that 10% possibility an Unsnapped will Snap in the night (and an even less chance that they'll get Lurcher as well).
  7. Um. We can't even guarantee that. And I don't mean that that's because Peng or the Seeker is suspect. I mean that conversions take place at the end of the night. What if the person the Seeker Seeked is converted that night? And the Seeker misses it (Meta said he hasn't given it much thought, but he'd probably roll a dice for it, with a 50/50 shot)? I mean, we can trust that person more than we might otherwise, but it's not 100% certainty. Because there's still that chance that something happened and Peng's Seeker didn't catch it.
  8. The Soothers can Soothe 1 person, effectively negating that vote. There are 2 votes missing on Wes. 2 people were Soothed. Rioters CHANGE a vote from one to something else. Wes voted for no one. However, his vote shows for Lord Ollivier. He was Rioted. EDIT: The key to figuring out whether Soothing took place is seeing if the votes match up. The key to seeing if Rioting took place is knowing who people actually voted for and if their votes are still accurate. Fortunately, I have a sticky note on my desktop with everyone's votes. So that change stuck out to me. EDIT 2: Never mind. Rioter didn't manifest. I just realized I had a question mark next to Wes' vote change. I wasn't sure if it would count. And he did initially vote for Ollivier before retracting for no one. So that must've been the official. I am noticing a discrepancy with the no votes/no one votes. Aether voted for no one, and Shimble didn't vote (cuz he retracted his and then didn't cast another). But those two are flipped. But that doesn't make sense for a Rioter.
  9. Oh my word. That's.....not what I wanted. Why didn't Peng say anything? Barty, I count 2 Soothers and 1 Rioter. Wes' vote was changed and 2 people voting for Wes were Soothed.
  10. Apparently our GM decided to take a leaf out of Shiv, Cessie, and Hero's books? Be more like Eddy? I find this amusing. I have a feeling the write-up is going to be even more amusing. Geez. I can't even begin to guess at how this is going to sway. It really just comes down to the emotional allomancers, I think. And hopefully, it ends with a deadlock. Guess we'll see in a bit. And where is Peng? Now is not the time to be frolicking in the mists.
  11. 50 minutes ago? I've got 3 minutes ago. 11:54 am MST. It's now 11:57. EDIT: And yes. A deadlock is MUCH preferable to the alternative.
  12. There's still a chance that might happen. Emotional allomancers. It's pretty much a guarantee we've got one using their power right now. I'd bet we have two (maybe more, if there's a duplicate on one or both of them). Also Aether--Vron's right. I just checked and your vote IS still for no one, rather than Shimble. And YES! I will totally give up my messenger job in favor of being an apprentice List Maker! The pay was lousy as a messenger anyway.
  13. Ollivier's counted twice. Once as Ollivier for Wes, and once as Quillion for Shimble. According to my notes, he's only voted for Wes. And Dyring cast a vote for Wes too. Everything else matches, from what I can tell. And yes. You definitely have a longer history of List Making. But it never hurts to have more List Makers. Maybe I'm the apprentice. I'm just an extreme overachiever? Or maybe I just REALLY wanted to impress the first time. What can I say? I'm quick!
  14. Just so everyone knows, I've been keeping the Master List updated for all changes. So it's still current on votes. The count is Shimble - 7, Wes - 7, Hero - 1, No one - 3 (Aether's list is mostly updated with who's voting where...with most of Quillion's votes moved to Shimble) Not voted: Windy, Ridge, Grave, Shiv, Matheiu, Shimble, and Digits
  15. Yeah. Hopefully he'll get on in the next little while. Aether, just so you know, Roban voted for Hero. I'm betting the second Gamon should actually be Dyring, who also voted for Wes) Um. So 3 main people being voted on. Lovely. I don't actually think Quillion/Ollivier is bad, and I definitely don't think Wes is. Which leaves Shimble. Who has acted a little suspicious in the past day (which I don't feel is enough to want to lynch him, but it's better than what I've got on Ollivier). As much as I would like to deadlock it, at this point, I wouldn't be surprised if we had at least one emotional allomancer messing with the vote, so the outcome's almost impossible to predict. And if someone's gotta die, it's better if it's the suspicious one than if it's someone who I'm certain is innocent. Sorry Shimble. I'll be on for the next hour, so hopefully if you're actually telling the truth about being something useful that we don't want to kill and Peng believes you, Peng will tell us so we can adjust.
  16. Cessie, you're gonna need to make that vote in red for it to count. If you don't know how to do that (or if your text editor isn't working (like mine isn't)), I can go in there and edit it for you. I'm also updating the list to include this vote. As I have been doing for all votes thus far.
  17. Did you? At some point in my read-through, I think I must've stopped reading all the posts, and just started skimming and paying attention to the color. So the suspicions part might not be entirely complete, but I can totally fix that. Assuming he doesn't want the Lurcher (which I don't see why he wouldn't want it. The Lurcher would be able to Lurch him every night, virtually keeping him protected from anything less than an all-out attack).
  18. Here's another list, ala Aether's lists from last game: Suspicions expressed: Dyring for Shimble and Gamon Kukri for Dyring Herwynbe for Kukri and Shimble Gamon for Shimble (heavily) Aonar for Shimble Opinions voiced: Hero wants to support Peng, but wants discussion amongst everyone first. Maxill is leaning toward trusting Peng, but wants his reasons for voting for Wes first. Ridge says Peng doesn't have any better idea than the rest of us, and we should all vote with our gut. Actual votes: Peng for Wes Barty for Wes Aspren for no one Vron for Quillion (retracted) Kukri for Wes Wes for Kukri (retracted) Wilson for no one (retracted) Maxill for Quillion (retracted) Aonar for Quillion (retracted) Ollivier for Wes Wilson for Quillion (retracted) Shimble for Wes (retracted) Wes for Quillion (retracted Seran for no one Aonar for no one (retracted) Herwynbe for no one (retracted) Gamon for Wes Herwynbe for Shimble Lucy for Wes Cessie for no one Aonar for Shimble Roban for Herwynbe Dyring for Wes Aspren for Shimble Aether for no one <---Hasn't been retracted Eddy for Shimble Vron for Shimble Wilson for Shimble Maxill for Shimble Aether for Shimble <---This is UNOFFICIAL Ridge for Wes Wes for no one Not yet voted: Windy, Digits, Shimble, Matheiu, Shiv, Grave Sorry about all the color. I was trying to code each vote and stuff. Might've made it too crazy. Probably also doesn't help that I'm just running off a basic bbcode color code chart, but...whatever. EDIT: to add Gamon's vote and suspicions Edit 2: To keep from double posting, but I want to address this bit from Gamon I could be wrong about this, but I think the Inquisitor probably has a limited amount of time after a person dies before they can Spike someone. Probably just a night. And he's already killed Weiry, so he's already got a Spike prepped for Spiking tonight. I doubt he can do two in one night. And I'll bet that if we do kill a Misting, he can't use that tomorrow. Correct me if I'm wrong about that, Meta. EDIT 3: Added Aonar's suspicions EDIT 4: Added Hero's vote change (dangit. Now I need to go find a new color!) and Lucy's vote EDIT 5: Added Cessie's vote EDIT 6: Changed Aonar's vote and added Roban's EDIT 7: Changed Aspren's, added Dyring and Aether EDIT 8: Changed Wilson's and Vron's vote; added Eddy EDIT 9: Changed Maxill's vote EDI 10 (holy crap! 10 edits!): added Ridge, changed Aether EDIT 11: fixed Aether's, changed Wes'
  19. Lord Ruler, you make a good point....Fine. This really better force the tie. Quillion I swear this is nothing against you, Quillion/Lord Ollivier! I have every intention of paying as much attention to these votes as I can and adjust my vote accordingly. To that end, I agree that Aether needs to make a list. It would be way useful right now. EDIT: Retracted vote. Will still be paying attention.
  20. I vote no one. I agree that it's highly likely that Peng is the Mistborn. I've thought that since he came out initially. However, that's not enough to make me blindly follow him in all his votes. (I've learned something since last game and the HUGE mistakes I made there) Based on Wes' response earlier, I have the distinct feeling that Peng is targeting him because Wes doesn't have a power, and because of that, Peng thinks he's expendable. Personally, that's not a good enough reason for me to kill someone when this is their first game. I doubt that anyone really thinks Wes is the Inquisitor, and I don't want to take part in killing someone whose only fault was that he doesn't have an Allomantic power. It's for these same reasons that I'm not telling Peng what I am. It's not about trust. I know he's trustworthy. I just don't want him to decide whether or not I'm expendable based on whether or not I have a power and what power I have. That's not a good enough reason to go killing innocents. We've already lost three. We can't keep up that same rate, especially when we were so cautious on the first day. EDIT: Do I realize this secrecy makes me look suspicious? Absolutely. Do I care? Not really. If he's desperate to know what I am, he said he's got a Seeker. They can Seek me. That's not a problem. But I'm not going to just hand over my role willy-nilly and let him control my moves and whether I live or die. I hope you all understand. EDIT 2: changed vote
