  1. Well, my "search" pretty much just entailed looking at my previous posts and topics. And since it didn't appear, I assumed I hadn't created one. Hence the newer topic. I didn't even notice that. Haha. "She might've disappeared..." yeah. Almost a year ago now. Not nearly as fast as I would've liked....
  2. To be more specific for me, I'm in Utah. (and how the heck did you find my first introductory post here?! That was ages ago. I even looked for it when I came back after my two year hiatus and I couldn't find it! Impressive, Aether. Impressive.) For a couple others I noticed aren't on the List™: RubixKube is in Utah, and Chaos is in Montana. Aaradel is in Utah. Gamma is in Ohio. Silk is in Canada (British Columbia, last I'd heard).
  3. Shouldn't there just be 4 rabbit furs on the wall? Tril and I are stuck in Cuddles....
  4. Interesting. That was literally the first thing I did when it didn't work. And it still didn't work. But now it's working...I'm a little irritated, but at the same time, glad that it's not incognito anymore. Apparently I shouldn't have written off Swim's and Eero's advice so quickly...(but, I mean, really? I did that!)
  5. Ah. And since I was the information leak....however, that's information I wouldn't have passed. And it definitely would've certified my sticking with you for longer than I did. The biggest reason I killed you was because I honestly thought you planned to kill me the next day. And I wanted to kill you before you killed me. Turns out we killed each other. Ish.
  6. Yeah, I knew you were supposed to change them, Rick, which if why I was just fine with you getting roped. My plan had been for the Idrians to change them so they could still get a kill. If I'd known Wes' entire plan, I would've tried to set it up a little differently (making sure you guys held onto the codes). Taking out the entire Idrian side could've been a lot of fun. And getting them to kill you guys during the day. Ah, well. It was still a lot of fun. And come on, Dyring. I need to know so I can stop doing whatever it is that's giving me away.
  7. Well, if you have told me that... I was under the impression you were going to kill me the second things got even. And then you suggested giving Aonar my name right at the start of the night, and I was like "That's it. He's dead." But beyond just the Lifeless protecting Aili, there was also the fact that I was strawmanned. So anyone I killed that night would've ended up with my lynching during the day, since the Hallandren didn't have the numbers to overcome the Idrian vote. Mail, did you not change the Codes last night? Because that's another thing I'd thought about. The Idrians had changed the codes, and I'd be dead the next night regardless.
  8. Nexus 5. Not sure? I could no doubt download a different browser, but I haven't yet. I'm sort of a fan of Chrome.
  9. That worked with my old phone. This is a brand new device though. I've had it less than a week, and I've never been able to access the site in regular mode. Even the first time I tried to get on the site. The cache was the first thing I went to when it wouldn't work, but there wasn't anything to clear. :/
  10. Well, I wasn't convinced he was always protected. But I knew if we attacked with the PK attack, we'd take away the 5th H protection level, and then he'd get Alan guarding him. Or that's what I figured. All those levels of protection on him made him an undesirable target despite how powerful he was. Obviously, if we'd known he was completely open, we would've gone for him, but as it was, it would've been a waste. He would've survived--I assumed Aili would give up her breath to save him, since I'd been running off the assumption there was only one Monk. And maybe she would've. Or maybe she would've let him die and Sifa would've taken over. Everyone would've piled onto her just like they did with Aonar.
  11. That was all me. I was playing both sides. And it was hilarious. Also. 10k words shy of the game 2 spiked doc. Not bad, boys. Not bad at all. EDIT: Also, Dyring. I'm definitely going to be attentive to the people you vote for. And I am incredibly curious how you pegged me too.
  12. So, Eric. I've been having an issue with the mobile version of the site. In regular chrome, I can't sign in. I click the little interface button and nothing happens. I also can't get into the full version of the site either. I click that button and it jumps me to the top of whatever page I happen to be on. When I go incognito, I have no problems. I'm not sure what the problem is, but I'd like to use the mobile version, preferably not on incognito, because I have to sign back in whenever I go to a different app. And that gets a little irritating after signing in 7 times. Even if chrome has my sign-in info saved... Has anyone else had this problem? Have you had this problem, Eric? (Not that I think it's the phone. I don't. It happened about 50% of the time on my Galaxy as well.)
  13. Wil'son sat back. "A strawman, eh?" she said. "Well. It's clearly not worth its colors. You might need to invest a little more breath in it. For one, it reported that I'm male? Makes me wonder about the powers of its observations, since I'm female. And two, it couldn't possibly have reported that I killed Summon last night. All it can know is that I killed. Logic tells you the rest." She grinned. "And as I told Summon last night, it doesn't matter if I die. I knew this was coming days ago. My goal wasn't to survive, although that would've been nice. My goal was to start a war. And I believe I have." Her grin turned evil, with a spark of an insane glint in her eye. "Your monk is dead. Dead from a Hallandren. You're never going to let that rest, especially not after I'm gone. Your treaty is doomed to fail. So my work? It's done. Idris and Hallandren will rip each other to shreds, while my people watch in wonder. You can't stop it. It's already begun." She turned, walking up the street to her store. It didn't take her long to pack everything up and pass it over to her two other-worldly Lifeless she kept in the basement. She'd brought the bodies of her old comrades with her when she jumped from Scadrial, and although it had taken her a bit, she'd turned them into Lifeless. She'd promised she would keep their legacy alive. She'd fulfilled on that promise. She watched Gam and Nar (for they wouldn't respond to their old names anymore--too many syllables) leave the town, carrying her note. They would find her old friend, and her note would explain what had happened. He would know what to do. He'd done it once before. She was sure he'd follow through again. When the two were only specks in the distance, she sat on the steps in front her store, leaned against the doorframe, and closed her eyes, waiting for the day to pass. She'd given it a good run this time. She was ready to accept her fate. Death, if only temporary, would be nice. Let them do what they will. She knew deep down, they would all die to the war eventually. Everyone did.
  14. Idahoan here (although I currently live in Utah as well). Totally agree. I mean, this last winter dumped almost two feet in less than a week (which isn't extreme by any means, but it's more than I've seen for a few years...but then. This was my first winter down here in Utah, so...yeah.)
  15. This is a valid point. I have been around a lot, but I haven't been posting much. At first, that was because of the different game mechanic. I had my lists, but it's been harder to keep up-to-date on them with breath moving around so much. I finally just gave up (I know. What kind of List Maker am I? ). Because of that, I've only voted for people who I was certain were PK. Like Joe. And Elo. Everyone else I wasn't sure about. Hence my silence in the thread. Keep in mind though that just because I've been silent in the thread doesn't mean I haven't been participating. I've had a strawman for a number of nights, and I've used him every night to check on whoever Aodan decides. I'm not about to say that he can certify my trustworthiness, because I'm not delusional enough to think that he would. But I have been helping. So. With that in mind. Who do I suspect (or not suspect)? I'll just comment on the ones that have already been brought up, since my biggest suspicions are in this group. Rick - He's not. With just my knowledge, I'd be about 75% certain he wasn't, but factoring in what I know from other people, I'm pretty much 99.9% certain he's clean. Sart - Tied for my biggest suspect. He'd been off my radar, but after that last post, he jumped up. When I went to check the PM groups I've been in, I noticed that he wasn't included. So I have nothing to go off of but his posts in the thread. Ver - The other tie. The fact that Joe voted for him means nothing. Joe voted for a few of his comrades in the last game, with very little provocation. Although he seems inactive(and I'm actually inclined to think he is) there's a fairly good chance that he's not. Ben - Been pretty transparent. Unlikely. Gammer - I've been communicating with her for the vast majority of this game. Highly unlikely, based on that and the transparency she's shown in the thread. Dainard - No personal feelings either way, but, again, factoring in what I know from others, I seriously doubt he is.
  16. Yes. But I wasn't leading this forum, even if I had the ability to. It was mostly Meta leading it before. Now it's the three of us, with me reporting directly to the admins. More official, I guess you could say.
  17. Since these elimination games have gotten such a great reception, we've decided to expand the moderating team on this subforum. We've brought in myself and Gamma Fiend to help Metacognition out with any problems or issues that may arise in any of the games. Because all three of us enjoy playing, we'll obviously still be participating in the games, but we will always arrange for at least one of us to sit out on each game. This means that if you have any problem occur in a game, there will always be someone you can go to to mediate and moderate the issue. And, as always, if you have any other questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact any of us. We're pretty chill people.
  18. Yeah, no iPhone or iPad for me either. That phone I checked on earlier? 2 year old Galaxy S2.....However, give me less than a week, and soon I'll be using a Nexus 5. On-topic, now. Stroniax, is that iPad entirely update. Firmware and everything? Another trick you could try is deleting your cache for the site and reloading. Sometimes I've had issues with the site on my phone and it's simply because of the cache.
  19. I'm not sure if it's a glitch, since I just checked on my phone and the chatbox is appearing just fine. However, my phone is an android device, and I'm not sure if the operating system might make a difference. Can someone with an iPad check to see? It'll be easier to fix if we know if it's for anyone with that device or if it's just yours. Could just be a firmware update you need, if it's the latter case.
  20. Oh, it will be. But it'll be unlike the other Roshar games being planned, since its focus isn't on the magic systems. However, there are WoR spoilers, so it would be better for those who have read it. But I shall refrain from saying more, now that I know for certain that Josh has this in the works and on a schedule. Just know that it will be crazy. And awesome.
  21. Rubix (or Josh, as I prefer to call him) is actually planning his own fast-paced game at the moment (based on Roshar). Or, he would be if he'd actually do something with it. He started on it, and it's awesome, but as far as I know he hasn't done anything with it for almost 2 weeks now. :/ And his game sounded crazy-awesome, too. I should pester him some more about it....
  22. Wil'son was shocked at the night's events. Another Pahn Kahl dead. And the abomination he'd held was in the hands of someone who could actually do some good with it. The other news about Wyrm hadn't stunned her as much as it had others. She'd never really suspected him, even when so many people had voted against him. Finding out he'd sacrificed himself for someone so important....it was a good death, for one so grand. And now there was Aonar's accusation. That had surprised her. She'd enjoyed Elo's songs--laughed and cheered him on. There had been color to his music. Vibrancy. To find out he'd been working against them all this time felt like a betrayal. She studied him from across the room, wondering how someone could do the things he'd done and look so calm--if a little irritated, but then, this was Elo. That was who he was. Or is it? Is this just another show? She couldn't trust anything anymore. Except what the monk said. He was a good man. He'd protect them. He'd save them. She hoped.
  23. Without looking at anything past that, the people who changed their votes, definitely. Although, it will also matter who they voted for and why. And who they changed their votes too. There are a lot of details that matter to picking out the suspicious players. It's not just changing votes. But that definitely plays a role in it.
  24. Not necessarily. It's one thing to vote within a couple of minutes as someone else, unintentionally. But if you have a group of people changing their votes pretty close together, and all for the same person, that could cast suspicion on all of them. Because it would be obvious to the group as a whole that there was some backstage collaborating going on, and we won't know who's running that show. Now, in same cases, that can be a good thing, because it doesn't let Team Evil know who's in charge--because that can give them a target to kill. But at the same time, if it's a member of Team Evil running things and you don't realize it? That doesn't help us. The fact is, you asked 6 people to change their votes to someone innocent. You may not have known he was innocent (or maybe you did), but you still asked it. Wil'son felt better now that that rabble-rouser, Jeo, was dead. Not that she felt much safer, but she'd decided--as a reward--that she would stop wearing all that black. Such a drab color. She needed more spice, especially if she wanted to figure out who else was trying to stop the peace talks. She listened to all the accusations and defenses, but she didn't know what to think. Her biggest suspect was dead, and she didn't know who else to blame. She wandered back to her shop to think through the past few days' events. Pulling out a piece of paper, she started writing down everyone's names. She figured some lists might help her work out who Jeo might've been working with. Hopefully, she was right, and she'd have some possible answers before the day got much later.
  25. Oh my word. I'm literally almost crying right now, I'm laughing so hard....upvote to you, good sir.
