I haven't decided quite how Reader feels towards autumn yet, whether he hates her or just doesn't care about her. But maybe he does care about her Really down deep

A ReaderGlass ship? O.o??
-
Wondering if I should bring Reader into Calamityville... EDIT: or perhaps a modified Reader with shape-shifting capabilities....
-
Well I'm just going to say that Sidestep didn't know that and he just assumed that Lightwards was evil enough to take everyone
-
Double post but...new Mommy post! Let the shipping begin! Also, Voidus, I hope I wrote Sidestep okay, I pictured him as a shy guy that would just step into his own dimension and run if things got too awkward or dangerous.

An hour had passed. After meeting with Zip and being officially included in the Empire, he'd called in an Epic who called himself Sidestep to show Mommy around. He'd taken her on a tour of the school, then finally taken her to the room where her children had been put. Many of the children squealed and ran to her when she walked in. Mommy smiled and cleaned them all up, fixing dirt in their hair and mud on their clothes. She'd given away the two littlest ones during her scouting of the city, so all of her children could walk. She smiled at them, then looked around the room. This is hardly suitable for children, she thought, looking at the not-very-soft carpet and the desks pushed against the walls, especially as a sleeping place. But it will have to do. "Thank you for bringing my children in safely." She said sweetly, turning around to Sidestep. He blushed faintly. "Oh, it wasn't even me. But you're welcome anyway." He looked kinda cute, though Mommy pushed that aside. "So," Mommy said, walking over to one of the desks and taking a seat on top of it, "you said something about an attack." "Right," Sidestep said, sitting next to her. "Well, see, we're planning an attack on all three of the other factions in the town. Corpsemaker, the Empire of Light, and Thoughttown." None of those sound very good, Mommy thought. "What is each faction like?" "Well," he said, taking a deep breath, "First there's Corpsemaker, and he does just what his name says: makes corpses. He can just look at someone intently, and they die. He can even...." And so he continued for the next about half an hour, describing each Epic he knew of in each Faction. Mommy was revolted. None of them sounded very good, except perhaps for Doctor Funtimes and her partner the Traveler, but by far the worst-sounding one was Lightwards. "Wait," she said. "He just takes people, kills them, and reanimates them, and takes control of them?!" Sidestep nodded. "Yup." "Even children??" Sidestep looked around the room. "Yes. Even children." There was a moment of silence, then Sidestep continued. "So we'll all be splitting up and attacking each of the factions. Are you in?" Attacking did not sound good. Attacking sounded like something evil Epics would do. But, if they were getting rid of even worse Epics... "I want to attack the Empire of Light. Lightwards must be ended." Sidestep nodded, though he looked a little crestfallen. "That sounds great. I'm helping take on Corpsemaker." Another silence. "I hope you survive the attack." Mommy nodded and smiled. "Me too." She stopped, then laughed. "I mean I hope you survive." He smiled. Yet another moment of silence. This one stretched out into the awkward range. "Well," Sidestep said suddenly, standing up. "I...I'd better go tell Zip what you want." Mommy stood up too. "Yeah. I should put the children to sleep it's getting late." Sidestep nodded, then walked out of the room. Mommy picked up one of the children and started to rock him, singing a soft lullaby. He fell asleep quickly, and Mommy put him gently onto the ground, making sure he didn't bonk his head too hard and was comfortable. She moved onto the next child, all the while thinking of how the attack would go, and how in Calamity she could make herself useful.

Considering he thinks she's taking him to Koschei himself... I'll let Kobold answer

The soldiers left with Impact and MV. And the soldiers on the outside are too busy hating Reader to listen in Thanks

And Reader's slontziness grows...
-
There goes another goblet, Reader thought sadly. "Would I care for some wine?" Steven sad flatly, looking at Reader with growing rage. "Would I care for some wine?" He reached forward and grabbed the half-filled goblet from Reader's hand and threw it across the room. The glass shattered into a million pieces, and a splash of red wine landed on Reader's collar. Oh, bother, he thought. "No I don't want any of your stupid wine!" Steven shouted. "I'M HAVING A BAD DAY, AND YOU'RE A BIG PART OF THE REASON WHY!" He clamored out of his chair and, holding his shot arm in his other hand, started to pace around his office. "You're insane! Just completely sparking out of your mind! You just shot me, for Calamity's sake! You can take that bottle and you can... you can..." He slid back down into his chair with a sigh, then gave Reader his fiercest glare, which looked a bit pathetic with his pink sunglasses now crooked on his face. "You're an awful person," he accused. "Just a really, sparking awful person. I don't want to wreak havoc in your stupid city. I just want to go back to Portland and hang out with the awful people I chose to hang out around. Is that too much to ask?" Reader put on the saddest, most sarcastic face he could. "Oh, you're having a bad day? That's too bad. Unfortunately for you Steven, you came to the Dalles, and the Dalles is my territory. Everything you know belongs to me." Then, Reader Read something about Steven that made him want to start laughing again. Oh, he still thinks that? Oh man, this'll be great. Reader put on his most genuine smile--an evil one. "And everything I own belongs to Koschei the Deathless." "Do better next time." Event Horizon grabbed Aura around the waist and launched into the sky, leaving BusDriver behind. BusDriver gaped as the two Epics disappeared from sight. They just left me! The slontzes! Just because I accidentally crashed the sparking bus! Shaking his head angrily, he reached down and picked out a blade of grass, then started to hike back up the hill to the road. Good riddance, then, he thought, setting the blade of grass on the asphalt. I don't need them anyway. See if they get to ride in one of my buses again! Next time, I'll let the bus shrink with them inside of it, the slontzes! He reached down and touched the blade of grass, then ran off so he'd be a safe distance away. Five seconds later, the blade of grass was no longer there, but instead a long yellow school bus stood in its place. Fortunately, BusDriver could put a slight timer on the effects so he wasn't suddenly blasted away when the small blade of grass turned into a giant bus. He climbed into the bus, pulled the door shut, and started to drive. He didn't head directly back to Quicksilver. He needed some time to think, some time to brood. Sparking Epics. Every single one of the slontzes thinks they're all high and mighty, that they're the best and deserve to be in charge. They think they can just push poor little BusDriver around and walk all over him like he's some sparking rug. Well, we'll just see about that! BusDriver is not a rug to be walked over! Soon, I'll be in charge, and everything will be right. And maybe then I'll get some sparking respect. He was so busy with his thoughts of revenge that he almost didn't notice the mist. When he did, he slammed on the breaks and looked out his window. Down an alleyway just in front of the bus, mist was pouring out in gratuitous amounts, like 8 fog machines had been put to "insane" mode and left to billow. He put the bus into park, then stepped out. That could be an Epic. BusDriver thought. And if it is, I can recruit them or kill them, depending on what they do, and--maybe--I can get promoted from sparking Head of Transportation. BusDriver touched the bus, and it shrunk back down into the blade of grass. With the 3 buses down at HQ, that left him 7 buses that he could make and leave as buses. He walked cautiously over to the alley, and peered into the mist. "Who's there?"
-
Pir2h, you just said Cassie pulled herself aside from traffic. Is it alright if I have BusDriver go and meet her after he drives around for a little bit? That could be a fun meeting. EDIT: I'm just gonna go with it and see how it turns out.
-
So is the time skip in effect? Because I want to do a Mommy post where she decides to go to the MoNA for the attack.
-
Of course Aura and EH leave BusDriver behind . Hm. This could be the time for a BusDriver/Backtrack meetup...
-
That makes sense. So then what could happen with Timeport? I want him to go off so we can go somewhere else in Oregon, and he is the perfect candidate, being able to resurrect and all (good luck finding his weakness ).
-
Springfield maybe, or Albany. Somewhere around there.
-
Hm. Or perhaps a different IdeaTM: Timeport dies in the MEE attack, has another conversation with Calamity, and takes Upgrade (and maybe a few others) to a different part of Oregon. Could that work?
-
So the plan, as I understand it: -MEE attack (pretty much destroys the MEE). -Sometime later, Corpsemaker gets taken out. -Sometime after that, Thoughttown kicks the bucket. -The Empire of Light takes on Dark!Paladin's empire in the Dalles. Also, an IdeaTM: Upgrade and Timeport survive the CM battle, and they go off to start something new somewhere else in Oregon.
-
If this plan happens, then I think Mommy will join up with the MoNA (b/c of Funtimes) and Timeport will either find Dark!Paladin's empire, or make it to yet another part of Oregon and start something up there Let the teens rule!
-
Perhaps someone like that might work
-
Hm. And Sightline gives him someone to rant at without much repercussion. If sightline survives the war and comes to the Dalles....maybe.
-
Well I was thinking Matrim Cauthon but obviously he's not in this RP
-
Perhaps someone who complains about anything and everything, and repeatedly insists he doesn't want to be what he is?
-
I like writing as BusDriver
-
Of course Event Horizon can just throw up a black hole and swallow the sparking back door BusDriver thought as he exited the back of the bus. Calamity gives everyone else these sparking awesome powers and I'm left turning things into Calamity-cursed buses. His thoughts were interrupted by Event Horizon turning on him. "This is what you do, right? This is your power. So would you explain to me, why you screwed up like that." BusDriver could hear the poorly-hidden anger in his voice. I was forced into being a bus driver! BusDriver wanted to say. I couldn't get any other job so I had to take the one I could--driving annoying-as-Calamity children around in a sparking bus and I was no good at it and I hated it! And Calamity just had to go and curse me with the one thing I didn't want--sparking buses! But instead, like the good subservient Head of Transportation he wasn't, said "Sorry. I got tired." Behind him, the bus shrank back down into the pebble it was supposed to be, though the pebble now had a layer removed from one side of it. Sparking bus.

o.0 Who else is in high school? Timeport Glory Mode: Good luck trying to see him. Also, he needs his battle axe before this happens. Mommy Glory Mode: Beware the waxed floors, and the children. Also, I just thought of corrupted!Mommy. :(
