    I once had an ex brag about giving up shaving for Lent. I thought that was kinda cool, until my brother told me he hates shaving more than having facial hair. Though he also gave up eating meat, and he wasn't a vegetarian, so there's that I guess.

    Ugh. There's nothing wrong with short RP posts per se, and when I was younger, shorter posts were the norm. And there's nothing wrong with feeling self conscious of that fact, but a healthier way to handle it is to work at becoming a stronger writer, not post passive aggressive topics on the forum.

    BEEE MAH FREND TWILIGHT It still seems like an odd talent to receive. All of the other talents we've seen involve some good or service provided to other ponies--Rarity incorporates jewels into her dresses, Fluttershy talks to animals, Twilight is exceptionally good at magic, etc. The power to mess with cutie marks would make Starlight Glimmer a demigod at least, and not a very kind one. Her spell struck me more as something she invented herself, with her special talent being an aptitude for magic.

    It's better than anything I could do, for sure, but the style is still odd. I figured she'd need at least a decade of experience to master what appears to be a spell she invented herself. So unless she started when she was seven or eight, she'd have to be older than Twilight.

    Re: First picture: Not only that, but where are her knees? Why does Starlight Glimmer have noodle legs? That aside, I completely agree. If she were human, I think she'd be pretty, but in a more "she aged gracefully" sort of a way.

    OH! He could write insulting messages for Epics on the ATTD List, drawing them together and getting them in such an awful mood that when they finally meet, they all kill each other!

    He could've also spent some time post-Calamity trying to keep sane, avoiding working for other Epics, staying out of sight while Koschei was in town, and offered his services to Vondra once he took over, judging that a vanilla mayor would be more likely to help him keep his sanity than an Epic ruler.

    1. All right, then, I'll close it. Any objections to a veiled plea for people to consider adopting something other than an Epic as their player character? I certainly don't have any objections to people playing with Epics—Great Noodly One knows that'd make me quite the hypocrite if I did—but it seems to me like adopting an Epic and only an Epic in The Dalles is creating a missed opportunity. 2. I'll leave it as-is, then.

    No. Not in a long while. Should we PM him? I've been considering two things: 1. Closing The Dalles to new Epics, but leaving it open to vanilla characters 2. Adding which game thread the members of the ATTD List belong to (so instead of saying "Nighthound," the entry would say "Nighthound (Portland)"). Admittedly, this has the potential to clutter the list quite a bit, so I would probably only do it for the first entry.
