  1. "Hoid" and "Fatal Memory Error".
  2. Spiking your Feruchemical gold probably wouldn't affect his identity enough, but spiking the identity itself might. It's Spiritual, so it probably can be spiked. The question is whether it would be possible to spike it to a degree that wouldn't allow him access.
  3. Hmm. Well, spike out his Identity then. That should do it.
  4. I don't think there's one single set of spren/Radiant ethics. Compare Nalan (current best example of the Skybreakers) to Syl (Windrunners) to Pattern (Lightweavers).
  5. The real question is if Surgebinding would work on a world where the Shards weren't instituting the Surges. I doubt it, personally.
  6. If you spiked out his Feruchemy, he wouldn't be able to use his Goldminds. It's likely that he would no longer be able to burn them for health either. And if that all failed, take his Identity.
  7. Meatloaf?
  8. Good! My only advice is to strive for complexity. For example, the first one could be "I've figured out a cool way to make lures using Forgery, but I won't tell you," said Tom selfishly. Edit: I apologize if I sound like a bit of a jerk. I don't want to tell people what to do, but I like intricate puns. If you don't, that's fine and you should do whatever you want.
  9. Torturer of Heralds! At last!
  10. HE'S OVER NINE THOUSAND! (not Panda, but whatever)
  11. Ah, okay. So hBullets would be best with either a sniper rifle or a machine gun.
  12. Nice. I encourage others to post more.
  13. I think you don't need a bindpoint to steal attributes, just to place them. Maybe I'm wrong.
  14. A few other potential options, depending on your Cosmere knowledge and available materials: Hemalurgy rounds. Just normal armor-piercing rounds (because you care about penetration, not direct damage), but you Intend to spike your target. Kills unsuspecting Bloodmakers with ease, and removes most of the threat from Pewterarms. Could work for Lurchers, depending on the strength of their shields. Won't work on Coinshots. For Coinshots: I second the suggestions of rock salt and slings above. Molotov cocktails or explosives are also good as long as they're not too far away. If you must use a gun... coat your bullets in aluminum or something, I don't know. Steel and bendalloy compounders are tricky. Wide-range stuff is good, yes, but even that isn't guaranteed. A machine gun could work. Fill the room with enough lead and they won't be able to dodge. The downside is that you'd better not be somewhere where ricochets would work. Finally, if you have time to prepare the location beforehand, just fill it with high explosives attached to a remote detonator and then get the hell out. It'll kill nearly anything, if you use enough of them.
  15. I think it's less about Radiants and more about Shards. Shardblades make their wielders into lighteyes, and this change can be passed down. They also make their wielders into nearly unstoppable killing machines, especially when paired with Plate. In the chaos after the Recreance, Shardbearers would naturally have risen to the top and created a new aristocracy. This would eventually have been extended to all lighteyes, because not every minor cousin is going to have a Shardblade. Also, once you've got a stable class system, the noble houses aren't going to give up their power just because they lost their Blades in a duel or something.
  16. Seconding this interpretation, although I'm not sure why it would freeze on recording rather than measurement.
  17. Ooh, gameplay should be cool. I was a bit skeptical initially, but if there's gameplay and it isn't obviously terrible then much of my skepticism will go away.
  18. There are other elements that are more reactive, though. Why should aluminum be special? Perhaps these other elements have similar properties to aluminum, too? I don't think we've seen a Mistborn try Pushing on a block of sodium. I was thinking more along the lines of fluorine. I suppose that's not a metal, though, so maybe it wouldn't count.
  19. There are other elements that are more reactive, though. Why should aluminum be special?
  20. I wonder why it's aluminum, though. Perhaps it's just random, but I wonder if there's a deeper Cosmere principle here.
  21. I'm pretty sure that Surgebinding would be significantly more difficult to use than Allomancy, but not as difficult as AonDor. AonDor and the passive effects of being an Elantrian specifically require the Dor, and even within Sel they're regionally dependent. Allomancy requires the ability to transform metal and a source of Investiture to replace the metal, which would be easier to use offworld. Surgebinding, I think, is in between. The Surges themselves seem very Roshar-specific, because they require Investiture which overwrites the ordinary fundamental forces, but they're not regionally dependent on Roshar. One could probably get the passive effects of Stormlight using other Investiture, especially Breath. I think a Radiant's basic offworld capabilities would probably include the ability to make squires, because it's a sharing of the bond. As you mentioned, Shardblades would probably still work, you could probably take in Stormlight, and obviously the passive effects of Stormlight would be available. You might even be able to convert other Investiture to Stormlight, as a function of the spren bond.
  22. A duel, eh? "It's a santhid!" Tom said superficially. "They fixed Elantris, and now I can do cool things!" Tom said adorably. "You must unite them," Tom said honorably.
  23. Shard of Paradox Games. You get Investiture from having good borders.
  24. Quite good, although it could be more interesting.
  25. Do you have a better one?
