Still Having a Bad Day? Exchange Your Rants For Hugs Here!
Kobold King replied to Silverblade5's topic in General Discussion
Oh no. -
Well, guys, your pep-talking from the other day resulted in a two thousand word pony fanfiction. I hope you're happy. (I promise I'll do the stuff I was actually supposed to write soon. For realsies this time. )

At my brother's urging, I wrote a two thousand word story about earth ponies in the days before Equestria's founding, before the Hearth's Warming Eve pageant takes place. I'm considering writing a sequel about the next generation, but I'll just post this here for now.

Do I want to know how that became Cormac's greatest fear?

Like Edgedancer said. I also play a character who sets off his weakness, though since CM himself doesn't know I find it strangely hilarious that his player doesn't either at this point.

Bird of Paradise, or some similarly pretentious animal.

I'd like either Toymaker or Upgrade, if no one else is gonna claim them. They're important as support but aren't very key players themselves, so they'd be interesting to write the occasional PoV from.

...I've got nothing to say but thanks for the praise, guys. That means a lot. And I'll try to get something written soon, for those of you waiting for this much talked-about writing.

If it did, they'd have long since perished at the sight of Funtimes.

Sweet! What part of the city will he/she live in?

I feel like the big brother of the next Tolkien or Charles Dickens. The only mention of my name in future history will be a namedrop in the "Early Life" section of my brother's Wikipedia article. And with my luck, I'll be the one to get cropped out of his picture.

Just yesterday my nine year-old brother wrote a story about a genie, which included the line "You can wish for neither life nor death, love nor hate." He came up with that all by himself. WHY IS MY BABY BROTHER A BETTER WRITER THAN I AM?

My father and brother are extremely confident about their writing. When they write a line that they think is superb, you'd think they were quoting J. R. R. Tolkien for how much they quote themselves and praise the greatness of the sentence. Me? I can't write anything without the words looking dumb and ridiculous to my eyes immediately afterwards. I wish I knew how to confidence.

Oh. I was just making myself available in case another writer was needed. I should have known CM would be hotly contested, though. I withdraw my claim, such as it is.

The Daleks and the Time Lords would cheerfully put aside their differences to kill Nighthound. I need to make a statement?

I seem to remember Sightline being an anthropomorphic ibex in a realistic human costume.

Back on an old wiki I frequented, someone was doing a Doctor Who roleplay where the Doctor fights a dragon. "Just a dragon?" we asked. "That doesn't really sound... Doctor Who enough." "It's a Primordial Dragon." "Ooooh. Let's do this thing."

Don't mind me, just interrupting the random with more random.

Oh dear. We're descending like vultures, aren't we?

The ability to shoot lightning bolts is almost certainly not a natural Zygon ability. If it was, then they wouldn't have resorted to strangling people or beating them to death like they did in the classic series. I watched the episode under the assumption that it was pure technological augmentation. Of course, I'm pretty sure I'm also the only person who watched the episode while pointedly not thinking about the ISIS metaphor, which is how I like it. Can we talk instead about the epic War speech Twelve gave over the two boxes? This was an "Everybody lives" level moment of beauty to me.

I know I'll still see you around the forum, but I find this tragic nonetheless. Hope you sort out the rotten stuff in your life out soon! I take forever to write for my characters, but I'd be happy to take up a character so they have a player. CorpseMaker in particular would be neat to write, and I could establish my accountant theory as canon...

The bank scene would certainly have been a lot different. Though probably not Deathpoint's reaction.
