I made a few minor Epics that are up for adoption. Blockhead: Capable of mentally controlling any Lego blocks within his immediate vicinity. Bugcatcher: Can fire transfiguration beams from his hands, transforming targets into insects. The insects generally match the target's self-image, but do not maintain their previous intelligence. Viral: Anyone Viral touches has their mind overwritten with Viral's own mind and personality. The original body is kept intact, and Viral must become accustomed to it. Viral has steadily spread across the world since Calamity's first appearance--there are whole towns composed entirely of Viral's mental duplicates, living together, fighting together, and even breeding together. No one even knows what the original Viral looks like, or even what his or her gender was. The Honest Man: If he catches a person in a lie, he is capable of compelling that person to obey his every command.

Buy--seems likely, as fabrials are known to use trapped spren. One of the Parshendi will take up a Shard at some point.

Good point. Controlling the gifted individuals must be part of his power, however--and thus has a corrupting effect. I understand what his power is and the effects it has... it's just that trying to fit it into the official framework can be tricky sometimes.

See, that's debatable... does Lightwards have a mind control ability that only works on people he's gifted to, or does his gifting simply affect the target's mind in an adverse manner? Faultline's gifting, for example, drove the subjects insane. Who's to say another Epic's gifting couldn't suppress the target's mind? Seriously, who's to say? Because Lightwards' powers confuse me every time I think too hard about them.

You should be safe, then. There aren't enough dinosaurs in library science. Such a shame. I could have done a lot with that scene too. I just had a moment of Fridge Horror. Lightwards is a gifter, right? His necromancy is actually just him gifting his resurrection ability. Gifting doesn't have the same mental effect as other powers. So all of Lightwards' atrocities weren't done because of Calamity's corruption. He was acting under his own free will.

Wait. Twi, does your college professor wear a coat with a bullet hole in it and a bright green bowler hat? If so, there might be a reason he doesn't want you to have enough shipping time. (You have my sympathies.)

Aldo, Cricket, Sam... the list of unshipped characters goes on and on. Here's a Night-Mare pony! She'll probably end up getting a new cutie mark once I find a usable icon.

Saccharine and PP. Funtimes and Nathan. Voidgaze and Big Al. The shipping becomes a weapon.

Interesting thought.

Obviously Project Amber has no existence in-universe as of yet.
-
Lucentia has a role in Project Amber, so that might be a consideration.

Oregon is best faction. Not only does it produce more chapters of a gripping Steelheart fanfiction every day, but it is filled to the brim with ponies, Sausage McMuffins, bowler hats, and beards.

I think a red cross or a band aid could work for Panacea. I am both intrigued and alarmed at how evil the world's most despicable healing Epic might be. Also I found the original folk tale Koschei's appears to be based on, and cross-referencing that with what we know of Remington's backstory doesn't paint a pretty picture. They don't have ponies yet? I'm going to bed soon, but tomorrow morning I'll get right to it, assuming TwiLyght doesn't beat me there. And thanks. He'll be a fun character to write I'm sure, especially contrasted with the much more uptight Lightwards.

The Rod of Ascepius? Was Koschei an evil healing Epic?

OK, here's Sentinel, AKA Chicago Joe.
-
Purple Phoenix seemed to shake himself out of a trance before turning to his fellow Epic. "It's true hun, they were just trying to help. We can talk about all of this Epic business later, but these two seemed to honestly care, I don't think they even realized I was an Epic at first either." He turned away from his 'hun' and faced Aldo. "Who are you two with? CorpseMaker? AlterMind? Lightwards?" Phoenix held his wife close, and a fresh look of confidence was spreading across his face. Aldo smiled and checked to make sure none of the exits were blocked. "We just joined Lightwards' group today," he explained, twirling his hat. "This part of town belongs to his Empire now, you see."

Wanna Hang Out?, a Slaughterchei story

That Epic who can make fictional characters real would also be a great candidate for it. Hand him a stack of horror movies and he'll be the chief terror of the city.
-
Even the Dark Alley has higher standards than that, and they turned cookies of all things into instruments of fear and bloodshed. Cookies.
-
Just wait till the Calamityville RP. And I saw the first Halloween decorations in my local Walmart today, so the day draws nearer and nearer...
-
Ah. The intrigue, the excitement. The CorpseMaker War will be the stuff of legends.
-
It is very weird and very awesome. You and everyone else should join right away.

I agree! Making buildings float all over Portland could be a great way to wage a discreet war against Streetwise, and if something ever happened to make them all come tumbling down at once... well, the goal is to destroy Oregon. Here soon I'll post a bio for Sentinel (or as he'd rather you call him, Chicago Joe.)

If only there was still a YouTube.

Um... I meant to do that?
