  1. I played an indie game called "Don't Starve" for a little while, and once upon a time I was in to modding a game called "Dwarf Fortress." But other than those, I'm pretty a clueless n00b.
  2. He sounds like a fun character. I don't really know enough about video games to keep making remarks about them, though. I mostly just parrot back video game terms I've heard from my dad.
  3. Does he refer to unexpected surprises as "plot twists" or "easter eggs"?
  4. Adventurer reminds me of this comic. A lot.
  5. I searched it on my Kindle. The first instance I found was as Cheese described: According to the Kindle, that's page 81, chapter 5 of Part 1. Hope that helps!
  6. What would she think of Lightwards? Would she revere him in the same way she reveres Nighthound?
  7. Lady Darthina Glitterstein is wise beyond your comprehension. Kneel before her.
  8. Most of the single ones have been done. I vote harem fics.
  9. Count me interested! In a terrified sort of way. I wouldn't object.
  10. I'm on to you. What? You wouldn't find it empowering to know that an insane necromancer is terrified of you by virtue of your gender?
  11. Cool. I'll set it up then while pretending we planned this in a PM discussion. (I see you viewing this topic, Twi. No peaking. ) Just wait till he meets Bloody Mary, badchull!Voidgaze, and possibly Sunburst. Lightwards is simultaneously the most progressive feminist on the planet in terms of respect for women, and the most hate-filled misogynist on the planet.
  12. What do you mean by "maybe"? It's hysterical.
  13. I was thinking that if he threatened her, Lucentia could simply freeze him, Aldo, and Cricket in diamond while she gives a snobby lecture to them. That would give a good parallel both to Project Amber and to Funtimes' earlier tar incident, which would increase Lightwards' paranoia and motivate him further to find ways of insuring himself against more powerful Epics. I'm fine with pretty much anything, though.
  14. Oh dear. Lucentia is a slontze. I'll try to think of a way for Lightwards to respond that doesn't involve the threat of violence. (Unless you want a brief brawl in which Lucentia curbstomps Lightwards. That'd be fine too, and past records would indicate it'd become quite a well-received post. )
  15. I could be wrong now... but I don't think so! BST describes them better. This is true. * facepalm * My fault. I forgot that Sightline didn't grow up in Portland.
  16. Thanks for all the compliments, guys. It's always nice to know my reckless insanity is appreciated here. This is beautiful. So very, very beautiful.
  17. To paraphrase the Monk theme song: There's a jungle out there, and it hates Timeport.
  18. You missed a splendid opportunity to turn Unhinged into a woman.
  19. Good to know. There's not a lot I wouldn't give to see the charts and notes you use to calculate these things.
  20. They can stand by, but my internal karma-meter demands that Angel deal the killing blow. Cool. Two more questions: How likely would it be for one of the cottage's faucets to issue lemonade, like another Doctor designed in a certain Christmas special? And what kind of ice cream? This is the kind of important detail that literature is made of.
  21. The scene that could have been. (Though for the record, Timeport entering the same room as any of the vanillas is to be avoided at all costs. Unless he's entering a room with Angel Zoe Finch, and then only if she's heavily armed and bearing his weakness. ) Out of curiosity, how many rooms are in the Tillamook cottage? Did Funtimes account for things like bathrooms or showers or internal heating?
  22. And then Funtimes teleported in, blew a raspberry at him, and teleported Sam away before he could do anything particularly horrid to our innovative victor?
  23. You're supposed to pay attention to the look of defeat on Timeport's face. Not the board.
  24. Granted. This is because they are all sucked through a time vortex and are stranded in Mongolia during the late Eocene period. They leave a message to you in fossilized stone, begging for deliverance from their dire plight. You should deliver them from their dire plight as soon as you can. They're currently sharing a habitat with this lovely creature. "Currently" being an entirely relative word, of course. I wish for the ability to salt food perfectly.
  25. Or, to quote an image caption which I feel describes this RP perfectly,
