Hey, you're the one who froze Arendelle and built herself an ice castle on a mountain! I lost ten chickens because of your accursed freeze, sorceress! .... Ahem. You're known for basically being Queen Elsa, and for starting the Newcago Court.

Whenever someone thinks they've figured out a Sanderson plot twist in advance: (The above also applies to the jokers who went and downvoted all of my downvote discussion posts. Guys, if you think I'm offensive, just shoot me a PM. I don't respond well to these hit-and-run tactics; if you want me to change, use words not arrows.)

Would it trigger a known Epic's weakness?

Does it exist in the Reckonerverse?

You Know You're a Sanderfan When...
Kobold King replied to Shardbearer's topic in General Brandon Discussion
Or an identity thief. (Though if you're going to steal someone's identity, you could pick a far worse fellow. Just sayin'. ) -
I think if he'd tried, he could have found a way to save the world that didn't involve keeping an entire race of people in a miserable hell hole for a thousand years. We don't even see a hint of him trying to better the condition of the skaa--in fact, his edicts over the centuries only made things worse for them. I get why he did what he did, but regardless of what people keep saying around here, he was no hero. He's as much a hero as I'd be if I stopped a fire by tossing kittens on top of it until their charred remains smothered it. That's the way I feel about it, anyway.

It's storming really hard where I am right now. WoK Unlike Rosharan highstorms, this kind of storm is more likely to take down power lines than it is to relight my lamps. So if I don't come online for a few days... well, that's what happened to me.

If it helps, I like both of you and think you're both legitimately hilarious.

Agreed. I'm glad the 17th Shard hasn't become a reputation re-enactment of 300.

I actually frequently dole out upvotes to comments that I disagree with, provided that they are well-phrased and respectful. The only downvotes I've given that I don't feel remorseful about are the ones that attack other members or include obscene words and ideas that I don't like seeing on the site. Basically I see downvotes as tools that are only to be used as a last resort. But, I think we're derailing this thread.

My general philosophy that if a post isn't so offensive that it's obvious why it was downvoted, it probably shouldn't be downvoted. I'd be lying if I said I'd never downvoted a post for a stupid reason--it's rare and I always apologize, but it does happen--but after the newest influx of members there seems to be a net rise in senseless downvotes. Maybe someone should make a meta-discussion about proper downvote etiquette.

OK, so in the last few posts several people have talked to Arsenal, and it hasn't been very clear in what order they were talking. Outlining the next Arsenal post in my head, I've arranged the speakers loosely as such: Ozymandias (Since he was the one Arsenal was speaking too) Scribbler Reader Does that sound about right, or at least workable?

Thanks, but I'd have trouble finding them all. Most of them have several upvotes already; it might not be healthy that I watch my posts closely enough to notice when their little number drops down by one. Mainly I'm wondering whether I've developed a sharp or abrasive personality that I might need to cut down on. It's frustrating to have invisible haters floating around flying random red arrows at me, with no indication what I'm doing to provoke their ire.
-
Half of everyone minus whoever downvoted it, apparently. On that note: I don't think I've been saying anything offensive, but a lot of random posts of mine keep turning up downvoted. I have no idea why, which makes the act of downvoting them kind of pointless.

In an alternate universe: You know you're a Sander-fan when there's a picture of Brandon Sanderson glued to your base. -
Compliment the person above you!

Let's not actually dish out downvotes here. It's in good fun, but it's not exactly a behavior befitting of this thread. (And yes, I am the one who cancelled the one that's already been given. ) I know you don't mean any harm by it because of the immense kindness and compassion you've shown elsewhere on the forum, especially on the Good News and Having a Bad Day threads. -
My Mama's so awesome, she is a Sharder.

The following memes are for entertainment purposes only, and do not necessarily represent the opinions of Kobold King or his affiliates. Except that last one. That last one is totally my opinion.

Twi, you know my feelings about Mizzy. My thoughts are purely theoretical. I'd probably go on a Rending myself if it actually happened.
-
I find it more interesting to imagine what Mizzy would be like as an Epic. Throughout Firefight she demonstrates a fear of of disappointing her comrades-at-arms; could this somehow work its way into becoming her weakness?
