Things were so much simpler in the Age of Restraining Orders, weren't they? Though now a strange and moldy part of my brain wants Zachary Vondra's first onscreen action to be running up to Autumn and begging her to sign his face.

So Zachary Vondra would be the guy on the left? No wonder his dad hasn't mentioned him yet.

Vondra wouldn't like him risking himself, but considering he's a fifty year-old man who still tries to ram enemy Epics in a helicopter he knows he doesn't really have a leg to stand on in that sort of argument. He'd be more apprehensive about putting his son under the direct command of an Epic. I'm leaning towards putting him in a mid-level command position. He'd normally be non-combative but his role might bring him into the line of fire with all the new Epics in town. That, or I throw Question continuity to the winds and make him a drunken bum who spends his time yelling at pigeons outside the Springfield.

For a much safer kind of conversation press 5 after the beep... Anyway, what branch of the City Guard should Vondra's youngest son work for? I don't think I ever specified it, so he could be in law enforcement, generic guard duty, an assault team, or even Vapor Snake's squad. Any ideas where it'd be most interesting for him to work?

I was kind of going for that. It makes it more horrifying when she lets guys drink her blood or spews rivers of blood from her wrists. Considering she opted for licking Nighthound's boots and barking like a dog rather than stripping, it's possible that she'd nope her way out of a potentially sexual situation. Or maybe that's just the hope speaking.

It's nothing to apologize for. Just the fact that I still remember those scenes so strongly is a testament to how good your writing was all through that segment. The scenes were written so that readers would hate the Trifecta, and that's exactly what you managed to accomplish. What I'm saying is, when I reference those scenes I'm not passive-aggressively calling you out for writing them in the first place; I'm expressing that the characters have taken such a life in my head that I feel as strongly towards them as I do towards certain real-life villains. And that is the highest compliment I can give you. She's definitely a well-written character, and (if you don't mind me saying so) she has the most distinctive personality and characterization of your characters.

We will take our army of Toclafane and fly for the heavens. We will chase the BBC from Mutter's Spiral to the Medusa Cascade if we must. They will pay. I adored Simm!Master already, but you're right. This really illustrates his level of narcissistic sadism. Though I've often wondered how much of the Master's insanity was truly pointless and how much was meant to prove some kind of point. After all, the Doctor has often resorted to silliness to comfort his companions or deceive them into thinking he's not troubled by something; could the Master, as a sort of dark reflection of the Doctor, also put up a facade of silliness to mask his ingenious psychological manipulation? Oh. My. Gallifrey. Since I watch Doctor Who on Netflix, I apparently missed out on a scene that's only included on television and on DVD. It involves John Simm as the Master from the Series 3 finale, singing a song that fits him so well it could almost have been written for him. How did I never know about this until today? It only reaffirms my conviction that John Simm, however awesome his successor may be, is still my favorite Master.

The Dalles has such an enormous character overload, I'd hesitate to introduce them in any major role.

I originally described him as having three adult children. I can't remember all their names off the top of my head, but his eldest son was killed by Koschei the Deathless, Sequoia works in resource management but is kept largely out of the public eye, and his youngest son is an officer in the City Guard.

Fortunately that man is not even close to Deathwish. Deathwish would have been smirking and winking at an underage girl in the audience. I like him! Do you think he works at all with Vondra's daughter Sequoia? I just remembered that originally I'd mentioned her on the Question thread as being in charge of city resources, but that never went anywhere. I'd offer to do it, but I'm both having trouble getting my posts out on time as it is and I'm not very confident in my ability to channel your characters.
