  1. FYI, I posted a new thread for the actual reports so that it's a bit easier to navigate and the tagging is comprehensive. I'll hopefully be there a few hours before the signing tomorrow, so see at least a few of you there.
  2. This is just a thread to make things a bit neater for reports from the signing tomorrow. The original thread has two pages of "who's coming?" and the like, so better to have a clean start with the proper tags. Content to follow from various Sharders (myself included, hopefully) in the next few days.
  3. NEW INFO FROM SIGNING: Rybal was kind enough to post some audio, and at ~23:00 Brandon talks about how Roshar "drifts" over millennia as it's weathered in the East and cremmified on the West. But Shallash is Jezrien's daughter, so that makes it a bit less likely.
  4. Big thing at ~23: The continent "drifts" as it's weathered on the East and Cremmed in the West, "over millennia".
  5. Sweet, thanks for sharing.
  6. Interesting. What question, exactly? The OP's, or about the lights winking out?
  7. @Rybal Thanks, that's some nice info. @poolboy Theoryland.
  8. Is it any help to try and correlate something on the map to the orbits of the moons? There's definitely something wonky about them: They're far to regular in their orbits (in the same order at night every single night? No thank you, says Stellar System Formation 101), and were put there artificially.
  9. Perhaps. The evidence is starting to mount, though. Syl say's Cryptics are "revolting... But not evil, I don’t think", and they look as Cultivationy as you can get.
  10. We actually have the chart filled out completely now, Senor. You're right about the assignments. Source:
  11. I doubt that the Truthwatchers had the ability to predict the future, at least in proper "precognition" terms. Even Syl, who's been out of the loop for awhile, holds that seeing the future is Odious.
  12. Yes, but you might well not be able to "heal" yourself into having one of the six fall off because you really wish you had just five.
  13. I am not quite sure if this would work. Yes, it's all about "heal to how you see yourself", but it could be a bit more demanding than that. I think it may well be the case that the "healing" is a necessary component of the whole process: you can't "heal" your face into looking different if it isn't damaged in any real sense beyond not looking a certain way. It's the difference between healing back a finger and growing an extra one, to some extent. Recall also that Cognitive aspects also incorporate how others see you, to some extent. Returned can mess with their appearance within a certain range, btw.
  14. I will reiterate my earlier statement: "That's... interesting. "
  15. Ah, so it was all Peter's idea. I see.
  16. And it's up. http://brandonsanderson.com/shardhunt-wor/ringtones/ That's... interesting.
  17. True, Duralumin only super-burns when another metal is being burned. I do not know of any speculation as to what a Duralumin savant would look like.
  18. An interesting and plausible theory.
  19. I read that as the lights being Shards. The two that wink out are the death of Aon and Skai/Devotion and Dominion, then.
  20. Ya don't say? Still, I think it wrong discount the real and Spiritually-founded effects of gravity simply by saying it's a matter of perception.
  21. Yeah... As people have said, the second arc is underwhelming.
  22. It's an old slang.
  23. Thanks for the transcript. Be sure to PM Peter on that PAFO.
