  1. An interesting question, but I think Outis is trying to somewhat-sneakily get some evidence to see if the aliens in Sixth of Dusk might be Scadrian.
  2. I'm not the physicist in the room, but I think the cosmere's dwarf galaxy wouldn't exactly stay together if parts of it were moving away from each other fast enough to get that much redshift.
  3. Interesting. Would you mind providing the quotes that lead you to this conclusion? P.S. Welcome to the forums, by the way.
  4. Wax's abilities have been discussed fairly recently. Perhaps there is something to the idea of him being able to directly cross-apply the "spatial awareness" Iron/Steel grant to gunslinging, but it seems to me that this is a very limited case that we shouldn't necessarily extrapolate from. Here's that quote you asked for: Source: Regarding Shallan's memories, the mnemonic abilities of Lightweavers is called out in an epigraph of WoR, and Brandon talks about it here:
  5. Thanks a lot for the WoB, Titan. I hadn't expected it, and it's always nice to see something new that way. I agree that it likely strikes Jewels farther out of contention for being the Terriswoman. P.S. Also it's a little odd to keep being cited/referenced like that. I suppose I'll tally up a point for intellectual honesty/karma, then, since I had initially not clarified that we weren't 100%. P.P.S. Also, for everyone's edification, we've since gotten another confirmation that non-Nalthians aren't drab. That WoB didn't include the "newness", though.
  6. You got it right: "in exactly the same words as were used originally." Thanks for going to the trouble, as getting exact words can be quite crucial at times.
  7. A very interesting set of Q/A's there, mail-mi. Is this all verbatim?
  8. Most all of him, though perhaps none of him if the kandra could get his hands on a duplicate set of bones/fake-bones. From this WoB it seems that there might not be any need to actually have eaten a person to mimic them, so long as you have other means to know/duplicate their appearance.
  9. Oooooooh... that one's nice and interesting.
  10. I just tested it out and got the same issue as Radda. Even in the page source it's listed as "http://coppermind.17thshard.com".
  11. @Moogle I was a bit more interested in the direct and irrefutable confirmation of shardpools being used for worldhopping, myself.
  12. Some fun WoB's on the whole "are the Parshendi of X" question. Odium: Not originally. Cultivation: Not originally. Honor: No.
  13. Ooh, that's nice. I don't think we'd gotten direct confirmation that it was a shardpool yet. -EDIT: Yup, we just got a RAFO.
  14. Another kandra-worldhopper-related question might be "has the kandra worldhopper ever spoken a line of dialogue in a book not set on Scadrial?"
  15. It depends how broadly you interpret "physiological".
  16. Well we've seen some pretty radical healing in the cosmere already: Miles springs to mind, and REDACTED the First also completely lost his limb.
  17. Ah, I'd thought you were just spell-checking.
  18. Well Lady I must say I'm disappointed that you broke with tradition... ( ). Thanks for the questions.
  19. By my reading this actually seems to draw us a bit more (though not all the way) back towards the "dividends" model than just a simple matter of ownership. So the nature of the Breath/BioChroma itself is also geared towards this reuse.
  20. Well I for one would very much appreciate it if you stuck with tradition and asked just my questions.
  21. How very interesting... Well if you need any help with reading it over in detail and proofing it..........
  22. Sooo... Weiry... How's stuff? -If you are interested in help at all, I have most of the evening clear and could wipe out maybe 30 min or something of transcribing if you need any help.
  23. You got an answer for this one, I believe.
  24. DOUBLE POST!!! To be less monstrous, do you have any areas you're interested in learning more about? I/we could guide you to formulating questions that explore places we don't know about within those areas.
  25. Well here's my current list...
