1 GB should probably be fine: sound files are very small, as a rule. If you want to double-check how it'll work out on your phone in particular, I'd advise that you just leave it recording (in airplane mode to save battery) for a few hours and see how it works out. Argent has been the first "on-site" the only time I've seen such "sitting near Brandon" activity, so he's better to ask, but I'd advise just showing up early, introducing yourself to Brandon, and then asking if he minds if you put your phone on the table to record the signing. Also be ready to pause the recording (or retroactively edit it after the fact) if Brandon asks you not to release some answer or other to the public. Be sure that your phone is on airplane mode if you end up using it to record, both to save battery and to make sure it doesn't go off in the middle of someone's signing experience.

@Maxal Like Titan said, I think we're much better off taking a "glass half full" approach here. Or more accurately "glass overflowing so much you can't see the glass properly at the bottom of the small pond it's created". Brandon's responsiveness in this AMA blew the last one out of the water, and I'm fairly sure did likewise to most other AMAs you'll see.

Well we know that Augor's could compound out of a goldmind if the metalmind's owner messed with Identity the right way, so there's that support for, at the very least, "unlocking" the metalmind itself doing the trick. That plus the knowledge that there's some way to have non-powered people access metalminds suggests that you don't need power (or Feruchemy, at the very least) to access metalminds.

You may be using too narrow a definition of "Cognitive." A cursory search shows us that Wikipedia, at the least, would have us believe that cognition encompasses both the conscious and unconscious mind. So huzzah for models that want the Cognitive realm to be both conscious and unconscious. I don't believe I've talked much of snapshots; it's more a matter of filtering. A question about this request-to-change model of healing: how does it work in the extreme short term? So Miles gets his hand blown off while tapping a lot of Feruchemical gold: does either his Cognitive or his Spiritual aspect actually change into a handless version of Miles in the instant before the hand grows back? If not, what "new" changes to the Spiritual aspect are there to affect healing in your model?
