  1. Have we talked about Roshar itself moving instead of the storms themselves moving? Side note, my phone now accepts Roshar as a proper noun.
  2. That would be amazing. Someone test it out!
  3. It was right after someone posted about tesselations
  4. Oh good, someone's gotten somewhere. My brain fried and I had to take a mental holiday.
  5. I think the point of this thread has veered right off into crazy town. Happy to be a resident
  6. Rshara, I have the same question. High storms would make deserts virtually impossible in (most of) Roshar.
  7. Antarctica is a desert
  8. I hope the emails you get with my posts make your day better! I spent a bit of time today looking at places where the continent could have conceivably shifted around, and what it might have looked like before (the Pangaea chat prompted this). It's highly believable that the arm where Kharbranth is was once connected to greater Hexi, creating a mirror to the pure lake. Reconnect Theylenah and you have a mirror of the body of water near Iri. Regardless of the secret hidden in here, this thread is of constant interest to me, as the maps reveal such a great deal about the world. Edit: I realize you mentioned these same areas, I was just commenting that we could very easily reverse engineer Roshar and likely come up with an almost exact mirror.
  9. Dalinar is Taln, Taln is Dalinar!
  10. Sebarial and Amaram both are as well I believe?
  11. Well, maybe my idea isn't so wackadoo.
  12. I would love someone to ask that question.
  13. That's where all the powers come from.
  14. Imagine the gemheart!
  15. Drifts across the ocean? More fodder for the RosharFiend theory
  16. One of the many reasons it is unfounded That being said, there's a kernel of an idea there somewhere I'm sure of it.

  18. Perhaps you would be interested in my unfounded theory that all the Heralds are from different cosmere planets?
  19. Ok, good, I'm sorry. I never know how I come off and didn't want you to think I thought you were weird or something. So, Roshar is the center of the universe?
  20. I'm sorry I wasn't being critical. I was just impressed at the timing of it!
  21. Ever since I had kids my telescope is getting very limited use
  22. Why were you looking at the galactic core lol Also, Hurricanes look a lot like spiral galaxies. Darn it. I should really think outside the earth box sometimes
  23. I didn't know that, but of course it makes sense, maybe the double lines are related to a kind of lunar "solstice" vs a solar one (yes I realize that solstice literature means sun standing still...) Do the moons of Roshar actually orbit the planet or are they stationary

  25. Apologies for forgetting about your earlier post. I don't know what extra "important" latitude lines could really mean. On earth, they're obviously related to the sun. Maybe on Roshar they're related to the three moons? I got nothing.
