Yup, we noticed that you added that Navigation. That was awesome. Kerry has been categorizing articles, but I'm glad you have the Nav stuff up. This is a collaborative effort, so it's great that you contributed. I'm not really skilled with wikis yet, so while I realize there are Talk pages and things like that, maybe it would be better for this area on the forum to be the Command Center, so to speak.

If he was an ex-member of the Seventeenth Shard, he could have been the founder. It's pretty obvious he had information long before that organization appeared (under the assumption some Elantrians are Sharders), and he probably wouldn't have told them everything.

Took me a while with that, too. I thought Odium was the person who held the Shard, because I had no idea it was actually a word. It means Hatred, essentially. I'm quite afraid. Well, the discrepancy comes from the Shards not remembering their name, as I explained here http://www.17thshard.com/forum/index.php/topic,73.0.html The person who wrote the missive and its recipient, however, do know their names. I, however, am quite certain that Rayse holds Odium.

What do I listen to while reading? Sometimes, if I'm in a particular mood, I'll pick out an instrumental song that fits with the scene. I have an "ending song" which I put on repeat, which I'll listen to for the whole ending now (that tradition started with Mistborn, and now that song is associated with my emotions of that ending). But usually, japanese pop music. This had some really odd effects while reading Way of Kings, let me tell you...

Probably that and lack of organization, I suppose. So much stuff is still under construction on this site it makes me sick... There's lots to do still. By the time Stormlight Archive 2 comes out, we will be much more prepared, as well as have a lot more members on the site. That will most likely result in more interest in Shardbearing (that's a verb, right?).

Hmmm, good question! Since it looks like Brandon came to Raleigh by a Facebook group, maybe you should do that.

The first podcast at least will be an introduction to the cosmere.

A lot of the Wiki will be spoilery. I... I'm not sure how exactly we would do spoiler warnings on this, since you could probably search any given article and find spoilers on it. I think chapter summaries would be important, however. Look at how Memory Alpha does Trek stuff. You can literally read for days on things, reading episodes or movies. I have no problem doing things like that.

Certainly, Ruin and Preservation suggests such pairings, but I asked Brandon about a year ago if that was true for all Shards, if they have pairs. He said they don't. (Case in point, Endowment doesn't have a pair). But I think there may be some rationale for powers that we don't know about yet.
