In other news: Heck yeah Firefly is GREAT. Its cancellation is the great tragedy of our time. And while I definitely caught the Milan/MeLaan similarity... I promptly forgot about it and didn't actually speculate that Milan was MeLaan.

This is great, I too ship Wax and Steris (ship name Sterillium?) and it was quite amusing to see you fall victim to it's adorableness.

But after listening to this, I'm not sure you should read Bands.  You'll surely explode, this is nothing compared to the Steris in that...

Bands of Mourning murdered me last night and kicked my cold dead corpse off a skyscraper. Which is to say, it was absolutely fantastic and the Splintercast recordings are going to be excessively entertaining upon completion, I'm sure.

On the technology advancement front... I get it that Sazed has fallen into the trap of Preservation of stagnation, but there may be reasons that Harmony wants the northern Scadrians to develop allomantiaclly because he can see a reason for them to be off world at some point in the future sooner than they would already, and/or to be able to hold their own against southern Scadrians? 

On TLR - I thought one reason was that he could burn the invested Metalmind without swallowing them, as long as they at least pierced his skin

Yeah, we are, because I'm a lame who got distracted by shiny things like Secret History and playing DAI for the six bajillionth time. In hindsight, We decided it might be best to just let Bands have a week to itself before we jumped back into Splintercast!

I really hope you also recorded your reactions to Secret History. There are so many OMG moments in that one that would be interesting to hear.

Rest assured, Splintercast for both Bands of Mourning and Secret History will be released as soon as we're through Shadows of Self!

I want to see how Feather's releationship with Wayne will get after all this Steris protection love... I forsee another beloved character being blacklisted like Shallan.
