@15:16: I think my utmost favorite is that one of Hoid's, talking to the songling, where he talks about audience expectations.  "Give me an audience who has come to be entertained, but who expect nothing special.  To them, I will be a god."  

@16:56: Hauka is indeed the guard-captain's name.  

@23:19: "Tashi" is probably one of the Heralds.  One who would not approve of Yeddaw for whatever reason.  (Given how he badmouthed "Yaezir" back in Lift's debut, this is probably not Jezrien.  Another commenter's idea of Ishar is probably the correct one.)  

And yes, Lift is completely adorable here.  The "I'm taking her home with me" is strong with this one.  

I am now really curious what your opinion about the ending will be.

I'm guessing Tashi's Ishi. The names sound similar, plus Western Roshar seems big on the whole "one super-Herald and 9 underlings", while East is more "all Heralds are equal".

You mention that "about half a day" might be significant as how long her food-power reservoir lasts.  It's worth noting that "about half a [waking] day" is how long it takes for you to go from satiated to really hungry.

Its actually more along the lines of how long it takes your body to digest food, at least that's what I think is also relevant here.

We on track for a once per month release schedule with these?

Admittedly, some of the delay on posting these next two was on me. I didn't get them edited until about two weeks ago, so they were late when @Chaos got them. I think he's been busy since then, but I'll go ahead and nudge him about posting. They are both finished now! Hopefully they'll be up soon!

I recently came back to this site after some time away, and I was delighted that there was more Shardcast to be heard. As far as I remember, only WoR existed back then. And now there was this massive amount of new episodes. But sadly, I'm through them now :-(

I really love this these recordings, partly I admit because some of the hilarious reactions that sometimes turn up. However, I think that one of the main parts that I like is to get into the head of another fan, especially one so different to me in so many ways as Feather is. And listening to her reacting to these books that I love gives me another perspective.

For example, I am as far from a linguist as possible, but I do enjoy the tidbits of that world, and its connections to these books. I do not get as emotionally involved the characters, and it is fascinating to listen to someone who does, and get to know a different view of them. I did not for example notice Renarin as much to begin with, but I now notice him as a little more a side character. It is also fascinating to get the views on plot, and phrases from someone else that writes stories, as that is not something that I am good at at all. I could continue for a while, but to summarize, I appreciate the different ways we enjoy the books, and how it gives glimpses into another world.

So I would like to thank you Feather for giving us the opportunity to experience the books in your head so to speak, and for giving me insights into a very different world than my own than my own regular life.
