"Understood." Night's Blossom felt another spike of fear, but forcefully shoved it down. "I assume there will be an active lack of care for our lives and wellbeings?"

You will never be free, she thought to the creature, struggling only slightly to keep her hold. You are mine. But if you obey me...

A grating growl escaped the creature as it glared at Star. it had forged itself for the purpose of killing her kind. If she meant to hold it back, then it couldn't follow her. The living weapon's struggling slowed, as it waited for Star's attention to be turned away from it.

"Yeah. Be sure to sign the safety and regulations form." It was blank.

Night's Blossom dutifully signed her name. "Is there anything else, or am I permitted to continue to my endless, miserable toil?"

"Alright." Apparently he was in a good mood--or maybe he was just bored--because he actually did only jab the needle into her left.

He's kinda injecting her with a tracking poison thingie. Basically it hurts an awful lot more than just a needle

Even as her entire world bloomed with pain, Night's Blossom refused to give an inch. Through a supreme effort of will, she managed to remain upright, slowly choking out, "Will that be all?"

She could already feel the tug of the poison weakly pulling at her, and Night's Blossom saw no value in waiting, though her body was still raw with agony. With a nod to the guard, she followed the faint pull.

Watcher, rather timidly, spoke up. "Wh-what is your name?" Do to her flat nature, it is clear she is talking to Grace.

"Grace," replied the ennuller succinctly.

Star rolled her eyes, watching Blade walk away. She was still wearing the 1950's poodle skirt, but that didn't seem to fit her mood anymore. No, she needed something more... dark. And powerful. As she breathed in, her green poodle skirt melted away, changing into a much shorter, tighter, purple one lined with gold to match her hair. It came down to midthigh, a bit of skin visible between it and the thigh-high, heeled leather boots that now adorned her legs. Her bun fell apart, locks of hair cascading down to now-bare shoulders, a heavy iron crown sitting atop her head. And her shirt morphed into a leather bodysuit, more gold lining falling into place. Finally, a red cape with a gold clasp fell around her body. Yes, that was much better.

She turned to the creature beside her. It looked very zombie-like, pieces of skin blackened as if badly burned, lips almost nonexistent, exposing sharp teeth. "What do you think? Better outfit?" she asked the thing.

This is about how I imagined Star's outfit, except Star is wearing a full red cape with it instead of a gossamer purple one. And of course the iconic crown.

The decaying monstrosity, now allowing the withering away to take affect since t didn't need to disguise itself, made an odd noise in its throat. It could be compared to a scoff, if one ignore the unmistakable sound of the tearing of flesh.

The creature obviously despised every part of the Narrator, and it didn't bother to hide it.

Beauty . . . It had known what that was, once.

It leaped to its feat, disregarding the thought without a moment's hesitation. It felt a desire to move, to escape the hall of Narrators before something descendes upon it. But it was held by a chain.

The creature stared at Star, its face passive while a sense of frustration was set on its mind.
