"I think I might have an idea who the strange figure is," Michael offered.

"You do?" asked Xinoehp intently.

Michael nodded. "My brother - he was last seen heading towards the battlefield. Your battlefield. I don't think he could have done... what happened to you... but the description could be him. And perhaps he knows what did happen."

"Intriguing!" responded Xinoehp. "To your brother, then?"

Michael sighed. "As I said, he was last seen investigating your war. I... have no idea where he is." He swallowed his nervousness and worry at the thought. This was the clue he needed to find Antonio, he just knew it. "That's part of why I'm here, to find him."

"Hmmm... I will help you, of course. I am simply wondering how in my weakened state I can be of aid to you, especially with an entity of this type who can supposedly block the powers of Narrators."

"Well, I don't know about what happened to him," Grace nodded to Xinoehp, "but something was able to bind your power as a Narrator. The person we are tracking is a Narrator; ergo, it would be useful to have the capacity to bind their abilities in a likewise manner. Not to mention that your perspective as a Narrator is sure to differ from my own, and may provide key insights towards tracking our suspect down."

"I see. So, where shall we start?"

Grace glanced at her notebook. "The fighters in this war that Sir Xinoehp here recently arrived from. There is a 96.89% chance our target is among them."

Spade turns to Xinohehp. "Well, where were you fighting? And with and against who?"

"These people," said Grace, pulling a sheet out of her notebook and handing it to Spade.

Spade grabs it out of her hand and reads it carefully.

Whether or not the cast of the war is the same is not something I have a desire to answer right now :P.

Could you give me a summary of who this group is in general?

"Alright. I don't recognize any of these names- perhaps explaining what this war was would give some insight into where we can find it's soldiers."

"Just a standard fight between Narrators," replied Grace. "What, you don't recognize any of the names?"

"Oh, I should've guessed. And I would remind you it has been a very long time since I last was in the Hall of Words. Though," he says, inspecting the paper again, "Some of these names are faintly familiar, presumedly some of the older ones."

He sighs.

"It seems like we only have one option, at this point."

Watcher had been watching, as was her role. She recognized no one on the paper, perhaps Blade might. Watcher sent out an echoing though, do you know these people?

Blade walked from the interplanetary docks from which he had sent his gladiator back to Paradisia, the floating island planet where Blade kept all the winners of his games. It had been so long since he had been to the Hall of Worlds. But he was interrupted on his peaceful walk by another call from Shame. Do you know these people? she asked, sending a mental image of a group of people just as he said No, he noticed one of them down an alley talking to what seemed to be some sort of creature related to Silence. And she seemed to be talking to it, Blade changed his response. Who are they? Considering I'm looking at one talking to some sort of Silent creature. Shame seemed confused, something about a... war? A great war? Blade questioned her further. The same one they spoke of earlier? Blade had traveled in the space of time it took to narrate a few things then walk a small distance, so it wasn't unbelievable, but still strange. I think so, came Shame's response at last. You think so? What kind of answer is that?! Shame quivered, frightened at his fury. I don't know, was her soft response. No longer speaking mentally, Blade shouted, "Who are you?" @Zephrun's Imperium

I'm not too sure of this post, but it feels like I'm finally getting Blade, and a little but of Watcher's, character down.

I'm really enjoying writing Watcher, now that I've finally posted again, that confused and uncertain nature, with that conflicting purpose is just... fun to write.

I will mention that Blade isn't one of the worse Narrators since he's mostly there for the fight, but there's a little bit of that arrogant Narrator side. It peaked through just a bit when he destroyed his Gladitorium on his world. Even if it was through a rebellion that lead to the freedom of the people.

Ah I see

Star looked up from the creature and gave him the finger. “Someone who doesn’t want to be disturbed,” she growled.

Hold up, I thought Star was in the Hall. I just edited the last post of her

She grunted. “You’re a Narrator?” she hissed. “Get out.”

"The name is Blade, and I'm willing to leave you alone, after you tell me why someone's asking the most twisted Narrator alive if he knows you, specifically in relation to a great war of some sort." Blade mutters, "His black wolf engraved sword burst to his hand in a cloud of black mist," before sheathing the sword.

"Well, no point in delaying."
A doorway to the Hall of Words appears out of thin air.
"After you."

After a quick glance at the portal, Grace entered.

Spade follows in after, and once they are in the Hall the quickly glances around. "Let's keep a low profile for now. I want to minimize the amount of time we have to talk with these bores."

"Efficiency would be wise," agreed Grace. "Do you see any of the Narrators on the list?"

Night's Blossom slowed down her pace as she spotted the town she'd been searching for. It looked fairly unassuming, but if what she'd read was accurate, it held something hugely powerful in the right hands and horribly dangerous for the residents. Hopefully it's nothing major, just some kind of terrible weapon or monster. But if I'm right and there's actually a Core here... Better not to think about it.
