From what Venli said, it was a spren touched by Sja-Anat -corrupted wind or gloryspren I'd bet, but since it never spoke in Ob or WoR probably not one she made into a truespren like the windsprens from her interlude. Define "Nahel bond", lol The actual definition is pretty broad (even encompassing Aviar) and Nightblood's telepathy is done via a bond. But that doesn't seem to grant any notable magic powers.

Partially unsheathing Nightblood does seem to give supernatural strength to the user, even without holding nightblood directly (iirc this happens with Szeth at some point, he punches someone with super strength just from doing that with Nightblood, but my memory is always shoddy so I might be mixing stuff up.) 1
Waffles Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 The implication of much of this.thread is that Ulim may be a cognitive shadow or something similar to an intelligent spren but not from Roshar. Nightblood, while less intelligent, is similar to the latter.
