Tacitus Posted December 15, 2020 Posted December 15, 2020 Alex takes a few steps back, trying to take in the situation.
Condensation she/her Posted December 15, 2020 Posted December 15, 2020 Cadence's flames shrink and she bounces a little bit. That music is pretty.

Condensation she/her Posted December 15, 2020 Posted December 15, 2020 The flames consuming the buildings started to die down as well. They left the buildings blackened and damaged but still structurally sound.

He sings a song that is unfamiliar to you. Spoiler Unless someone wants to be a fan. That would be fun to roleplay. Also, my phone's a little broken so I might not be around much.

Condensation she/her Posted December 17, 2020 Posted December 17, 2020 Cadence tries to get angry again, but it doesn't really work. The fires flare for a bit and then die out completely, leaving Cadence flickering slightly.

Condensation she/her Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 Is that what she is? A phoenix?

Condensation she/her Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 Cadence looked at the person skeptically. What was a snack? And how could this person get one?

It was one of the biggest birds she had ever seen- though as she lived in urban northern england, there wasn't much of a baseline. "Uh... Follow me?"

Quote She's actually pretty small, since she's young. She could still be considered a large bird(slash some kind of cat), but she wouldn't be enormous. Cadence chirped.

"Uh... follow me?" Granny Newell just watched with an odd expression on her face as they begin to head back home. "Hey Alex. Do you want to come over to my place for a minute?"

Grace begins to head back home, through the streets of Liverpool. She was barely registering the fact that a mythical firebird was right behind here, had burned at least a block down, and had then put out the fire. How could anyone register this fact? She had wanted to be a biologist. But how was she going to become an expert if this bird worked on magic, an inherently non-understandable thing? What if this wasn't the only one of it's kind?

Cadence looked around, inherently hating the neighbourhood. She didn't really know why... it just seemed so dirty and gross. But the human had promised her food, so her temper stayed down.

Soon, the odd trio reaches Grace's apartment, one of many in the neighborhood. As they begin to ascend, Grace hopes that they don't run into anyone. Their apartment allowed pets, but she doubted a large, wild firebird that had burnt down half the downtown would be just be let through. Luckily, it was working hours and the halls were empty- Grace pokes the password to her home and opens the door into a medium-sized apartment. "Moooom!"

Bearer of all agonies he/him Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 (edited) A figure ran out of a burning building, screaming. Just as he ran out, a beam crashed down from the ceiling. The figure took off their flaming robe, and threw it to the ground. He had seen the. . . What was it? The bird? The dragon? He had seen whatever it was starting the fire. He had seen his brother get crushed by a beam, and burned alive. That stupid bird had caused his brothers death. He would find it. And kill it. @Condensation @AmazingGoob Edited January 2, 2021 by Bearer of all agonies 1
